In Queen Charlotte its implied that Violet knew because she saw one of the birthday hats her father traditionally made for everyone in Lady Danbury's house. I think theres also a moment where they silently acknowledge that theyjust arentgoing to talk about it.
The soundtrack never fails until they put a pitbull cover over the carriage scene 😢
Forreal they should've put partition by beyonce and gave us the angry carraige scene we needed
this was the worst season so far for sure
I feel like the reason that this season didn't do Colin and Penelope's relationship justice, in my opinion, was because there was a different show runner than the other 2 seasons. In interviews the show runner has stated that in the carriage scene she chose the song for that scene and she was saying that she thought that the song choice made the scene and alluded too the fact that she wasn't confident in the actors ability in making the scene. And she has also stated that she sees a lot of herself in Francesca and I think because of that, maybe she wanted to focus and make her love and love story more fleshed out this season, and that might overshadowed Colin and Penelope.
Long story short: The new showrunner maybe didn't trust Colin and Penelope's actors to make their love story convincing. And she sees herself a lot in Francesca so that's why her story is "better" than Colin's

Maybe I need to rewatch season 2 because I just don’t get the hype. The drama went on for way too long and they progressed Edwina and Anthony’s relationship way too far, to the point where I don’t understand Kate being with him. My sister is my best friend and if someone treated her the way Anthony treated Edwina, leading her on for so long while making eyes at her sister and basically saying that Kate couldn’t go far enough away to not tempt it, but also still trying convince Edwina to marry him, like I’d be turned off. I certainly wouldn’t marry someone who could disregard my sister and her feelings that way.
Definitely my favorite season so far and my favorite couple.
