- Former Villain Kid Uma, now Auradon Prep’s newest principal, extends an invite to the school to another VK - Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts from Wonderland. After the Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, Red and Cinderella’s daughter Chloe travel back in time to try to undo the traumatic event that set Red’s mother down her villainous path.

@@maddenboseroy4074 All we know of the history of Auradon from the past films is that the events of their stories happened, but it looks like this occurs before most of their stories. Maleficent wasn't a teenager during Sleeping beauty, at least she certainly wasn't by the time Aurora was grown up. Personally, I'm more concerned by how little we see of Uma in this trailer,

@maddenboseroy4074 I agree that timelines get confusing, mostly because he's meant to be thousands of years old (since he's a god). But I think they're sticking to the idea that this is before the events of each of the original stories. Before Hercules, before Aladdin, Before 101 Dalmatians etc. So long as you can accept that the timelines of the original Disney animations would have never lined up for all their kids to be in school at the same time, you should be fine.

If not they could try to bring back the animated series. Not the same one obviously, but Wicked World was really good imo. So a “reboot” version would be cool. Even if it’s a prequel. Where we get to see more of the villains school life.

Chloe's father King Charming is shown to have excellent sword fighting skills in Cinderella III personally I think her father taught her how to sword fight.

Love how every villain wanted fairygodmothers wand to break the barrier, and thr queen of hearts used her playing card and destroyed the wand.

I am glad to see that Brandy will be reprising her role as Cinderella for this movie.
So it looks like they go back in time to save their moms and Cinderella becomes evil while the Red Queen becomes good? That would set up a good sequel.
I think they are realizing how impactful descendants has been to us and this is why the budget is bigger and this movie will be amazing

Well the other 3 was just Disney channel movies. While the Rise of Red is a Disney+ movie. So of course it would get a bigger budget.
I hope Descendants is nonstop by creating new spin-offs like this. Not just about Mal and her friends or Red and Chloe but also characters in the books or other new created characters.
There is a Descendants 5 in the works ( it was confirmed when Rise of Red was( back then it was just Descendants 4 ) so maybe ♥️😊

I think there’s gonna be a plot twist where it’s not Ursula’s sister that makes Bridget become the Queen of Hearts but instead it’s Cinderella and the two have some sort of beef from way back when.

I have 2 theories
the first one, Bridget has crushed Charming, but Charming loved Ella, and Bridget got jealous with Ella, so Bridget sang a song “Shuffle of Love”, then turned evil and became the Queen of Hearts. We can also see the scene that Bridget threw Ella’s glass slipper in front of Charming’s face:))
the second, Uliana is the reason why Bridget turned evil, Red also mentioned that her mom turned evil because of Uliana in the trailer
@@phixuanmale6448 yes but my point is that Red and Chloe at first think that it was Uliana after they meet her but later in the movie it's revealed that it was Cinderella that made Bridget turn into the Queen of Hearts instead of Uliana.

Anyone remember when they had deleted the cliffhanger scene in the third descendants movie saying “you wouldn’t think this is the end of the story…do you?” Scene…..and now 5 years later they’re coming back and making a Fourth movie…my childhood heart is so happy right now, and even though it only has a couple OG characters, I’m willing to give the new kids a shot. Based on the trailer, it looks super impressive!!!! I can not wait to see this. And I bet Cameron would be super happy knowing there is a fourth movie coming ❤️❤️❤️
It's nice to see Brandy and Paolo Montalban play Cinderella and Prince Charming after 27 years! Also, Rita Ora is perfect as the Queen of Hearts, her version of the character feels more threatening now that she can use dark magic.

The movie looks very good, but it lacks the special ingredient that is ROMANCE to make it even better, a large part of the success of Descendants is love relationships. and a big part of the success in the first 3 was the romance between mal and ben, eve and doug and carlos and the ada godmother's daughter. I hope to see this in the future.
