I remember this was a super controversial song back in the day. In the utau community you’d have to specify whether or not it was okay to let your utauloid sing it. It seemed so creepy and forbidden. I was too scared to listen as a kid, honestly. Hearing it for the first time I’m glad I waited. It’s such a beautifully sad song. Traumatic in its own unique way. Kid me wouldn’t have been able to comprehend it without being scared
i was on high school when i hear this song for the first time, and still thinking if this song have an heavy meaning lyric on it, coz the lyric it self really different with the other utauloid.
I don't really understand why this song is such a big deal to people. The song is about the guilt Luka feels for her actions. Considering how much women have suffered from stuff like this, it's no wonder.
I love how for most people this song is mad disturbing, but it's funny to me. Not for some edgy reason. It's because it's the 2nd opening for this so bad it's good fanime called Blood Raining Night (I recommend it. It's great lol).
Beyond all the negative stigma, the song is interesting in how it tells the story of the nun and how twisted her self-perception is, shaped by the religious guilt she feels for all the "sins" she's committed. It's pretty good.
i haven't seen anyone fully break this song down, so i want to give it a try myself (extremely long paragraph incoming, all the content warnings ever) luka comes from a religious background where sex (presumably premarital) is extremely stigmatized. she has her very first sexual encounter with a man, which is described both as pain and pleasure. the "tears" i believe are her getting wet because she says she has a desire for this man and discharge from this is typically clear. it's possible that she continues to lust for him, but she's so traumatized by her experience that she sees herself as "scarred" and her lust as even worse than before. she considers herself to have sinned and her body to be impure (she describes her body as "the b*tch's hole", dehumanizing herself). "we never know our conception" in my opinion suggests that she did not know she could get pregnant from sex, which makes sense because her community seems to only teach abstinence. she becomes pregnant and has an abortion to hide it from her community, which gives her a lot of mental anguish because she believes she's killing a baby. either she's so young that this happened before she got her first period or she's been traumatized by the abortion so bad that she equates her period to it, because she believes that her period is her killing another baby. she considers her aborted child's life sacred in comparison to hers, which is suggested to be sinful, cruel, and rotten. overall, i think this song appropriately conveys religious sexual trauma and the agony of an unwanted abortion; it makes me feel sympathetic for her instead of hooked in by a gimmick. this is just my one opinion, though; feel free to disagree and discuss.
I like this song and all of Deadball’s works, but like are the lyrics “Feel the darkness of the bitch’s hole/Sweet like a hot chocolate/Smells awful like cesspool” not incredibly wonky and funny?
I was so in love with this song like ten years or so ago. junior high school me that isn't really that fluent in English would probably be screaming shits if she knew what this story means.
Pretty sure that's not what the song's about - 99% sure it's about a nun having sex out of wedlock + for the first time, getting pregnant, then feeling the guilt that comes with betraying her religion and aborting a child, then getting reminded of that each time she has her period
people who have abortions are still emotionally affected by them because of how big of a choice it is and how wonky your hormones are. most people who support having the choice of abortion dont suddenly become apathetic towards it. 😭
Is it weird that many of us are creeped out when this song came out? And nowadays, we don't care as such? Even more so because many of us are trying to keep safe abortion legal and a human right? Either way, I still love this song.

Exactly, it’s so beautiful and morbid. I remember being obsessed with what the meaning was.

Somehow i am not even surprised utau community was very avoidant for this song :'DD
@@niqchus Why should they? I see this as a protest song for abortion rights.
@@marieevegalloway1679 I think of it more like a comment about christianity's obsession with purity and shame regarding sex
this song isnt even creepy or disturbing. its just kind of sad, honestly.
Considering what this song is really about, it IS.

god, i'm glad i'm not the only one that knows it through that fanime
I already knew how this is gonna go. If you watch Neko sugar Girls then you'll know to experience Blood Raining night! XD
“Why are you so weird?”
The type of stuff I was listening to at the ripe age of 8:

Blood raining night op 😍
0:32 this part kinda sounds like Symphony of destruction
This song seems very realistic of christian and nun society... I give props to Deadball-P of this.
Ok but why tf does this bop so hard. It didn't need to be such a banger
Yeesh, I remember how aggressively judgmental I was towards this song, I've calmed down now that I've matured but I'm still freaked out by it.
I've seen worse... literally...
This song is fucking wild, memories of high school are Flooding back
The comments all say it's creepy but she just sings about her monthly period as she won't get pregnant since she's into girls.
Pretty sure that's not what the song's about - 99% sure it's about a nun having sex out of wedlock + for the first time, getting pregnant, then feeling the guilt that comes with betraying her religion and aborting a child, then getting reminded of that each time she has her period
Wrong
not what its about but actually the song being about a lesbian nun kind of fucks idk
Blood Raining Night OP 2
This song is literally the BRN op
Best song

“Oh Denny-kun….”
1:42 for me
I've listened to this song a few times without even thinking the lyrics were in English and I'm losing my mind at this lmfao
...this song is strangely goofy
I wouldn't say "goofy", more like... tragically realistic.
how did i even find this song through osu???
I found it through osu while playing CTB.
I remember hearing this back in my high school years. Was I the only one who was unfazed by it? Is it because I'm an i'm an abortion-rights supporter?

i can't believe i only know this banger because of blood raining night
This song is so good, just gotta ignore the lyrics
