@@brockautry8680 hell yeah right on ese AKC rules, I mean, alot more when lay e was steering the ship lyrically and I already know Jerry was far more involved with the melody writing as well as singing in general in the band from the beginning, but I truly believe Layne brought something that can't be replaced nor emulated by anyone so it's hella sad but Jerry has been doing a pretty decent job since Layne kicked it

Excellent song. Ugly Kid Joe is a very special band. Along with bands like Alice In Chains or Lynch Mob, they demonstrated that 80's commercial metal could evolve into something truly original in the 90's. The musical landscape of the 90's would have been completely different if more good bands of the 80's had taken the same road.

Maybe you know about this and maybe you don't. Ugly Kid Joe disappeared but Crane had a few side projects going on that are awesome too !!! If you're seeking a heavier vibe, try Medication (2002). It fronts Crane, of course, but also has Logan Mader from Machine Head and Roy Mayorga from Soulfly and Stone Sour. For a little lighter, try Another Animal. Again, Crane on vocals (2007) with a combination of Dropbox and Godsmack because Sully has ADD when writing music. Oh - the kicker - It is also features of Shannon Larkin on drums !!!!! Enjoy !!!!!!

Holy crap! I just found this channel. UKJ has always been one of my favorite bands, along there with Nirvana. I'm not kidding, I have America's Least Wanted in my car's CD changer right now. A couple years back I could find anything worth listening to on the radio and stuck that in. I'll listen to it on the way home today. Love to see them in concert some day. Always thought His voice was awesome and couldn't figure out why they never became super huge.
