Coby will forever be robbed of this award. Maxey was already considered a good player. Coby white was fighting bust allegations and turned his career around. That’s an improved player to me.

I look at it like stairs: maxey took like 1-2 steps up from where he was last year. same with alpy. however, coby took like 5-8 steps up. he went from an okay role player to a genuine young star. he’s the definition of a “most improved player”
coby white was always nice but the bulls wasnt playing him thats all

Coby White went from averaging 15 to 9 to 19 - he was drafted earlier and looked at as a star coming out. It’s not Maxey fault that Coby didn’t pan out earlier. Also Maxey didn’t vote for himself.

@@yahcrack maxey was coming off top 10 Kentucky team and everyone remembered his 29 point debut vs MSU, he wasn’t hyped nor was Coby white your remembering things wrong
@@yahcrack I also went to Summer League in 2019, no Coby white hype or jerseys, 80 percent of the people there were hyped for Zion Rj and cam reddish, tacko fall(since Ja didn’t play in summer league) NOT Coby lmao
