"how long will my system last?" Is the question I love getting. I worked on a oil it gas conversion steam boiler in Troy NY that had "Troy New York 1902" cast right into the front of the boiler. It was one of those fancy painted pipe historic deals that is still chugging along after 120 years. Probably running about 60% and has vents that pull cold air from outside over the radiators. Very very inefficient but that wasn't even a consideration back then.
Steve - I was the service tech for Fred Flintstone, I worked on the earliest furnaces. Those paleolithic furnaces were something else, they sure don't make them like they used to. Back then it was much simpler they had the big spark starter usually happened just prior to the rain, and then the newer technology moved in it was called the friction starter. Remember that documentary they made about the quest for the first furnace patent? Quest for fire, that's what that was about. 😅
Beckett transformers are about $50 new. I'm all about good used parts, but considering your time, I'd install a new one. That one you installed looks like a TANK though!
Jed Clampett and I have been servicing boilers 10 thousand years, Steve, Jed knows what he's talking about. Somebody put Kool-aid in the tank, I don't know, ask Jed. Just kidding, Good job Steve.
Stay when I see you got the boss back with you today Little Miss Molly she is probably one of the prettiest little long-haired Chihuahuas I've seen I have to say
Even though that's an old transformer , I'll probably last longer than those new electronic shit ones. Steve that snow thrower you have is a monster of a unit throwing snow some thirty feet or so !
You tested the modern transformer B4, and it tested good. (your 1st visit). What made you dump it the second time? Personally, I'm not a fan of the star-wars looking crap either. I hated having to up-grade my original cad cell controller, with a new modern HoneyWell "digital" P.O.S. last year. I have my fingers crossed with it.
I love watching your videos putting in used Transformers don't you pull them off because they're not working right then you go and put them on somebody else's unit you're there because you put a used unit in a year ago
That’s why you change the nozzle when you do the filter and strainer, there must be some water or moisture in that tank if the oil is milky like that

*phones ringin' away* " She's a crusty one mr.grinch" Love this guy.
I went to trade school and I’ve never heard of an oil burning boiler. But it’s cool to watch this guy fix every damn thing he comes across
Oil is common in certain regions, lots in NE, but throughout the northern states, common where NG connection isn't available.
@@dwight.bennett nice. I’m in Chicago but it’d be cool to get to work on one someday
Hate getting strawberry milkshake in the fuel line cloudy with a chance of recall.
The Oil Burner Videos are My Favorite..
Lav Can Fix it..

Hello Steve and Molly and Jed clampitt and Mr Griench
I remember helping to install Burnham units just like this when I did HVAC service a long time ago.
Jed Clampett and I have been servicing boilers 10 thousand years, Steve, Jed knows what he's talking about. Somebody put Kool-aid in the tank, I don't know, ask Jed. Just kidding, Good job Steve.
You are the doll collector, very nice Jed Clampett.
Wow Steve Love Jed Clampett!!!!!
Strange looking oil. Maybe there were bio fuels mixed in there.
Stay when I see you got the boss back with you today Little Miss Molly she is probably one of the prettiest little long-haired Chihuahuas I've seen I have to say
Love watching your videos Steve
Looks like the homeowner has been brewing up his own mix of fuel and throwing it in the tank.
You so funny...love your accent...in the truck that a was killer laugh...so cute Mr. Grinch
Can you show us the truck setup ?
I've had those green Honeywell cad cell relays go south!
Had oil the other day looking like that. Customer said the put kerosene
3:22 Carlin transformer on a Beckett. What's up with Carlin? I hear it's basically a Beckett copy?

@@stevenlavimoniere No surprise .
By the way Steve, my sister still lives in our house in Brockton. I'll be lookin you up.
What do you do with the oil, that you take out as samples? Too bad you can't use it to heat up your chicken coops.
Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again y’all. 👍👍
The only thing Jed Clampit ever did was make Moonshine. lol. Thanks Steve. JR
Just wondering how much a new transformer would cost, and do the home owners know u are using used parts ? Never have I installed used parts..
Hello Steve!
Time for a new BOILER............. LoL.
Hoping you get that boiler job that was questionable to leave running. You did them a favor.
gotta love jed clampett where in the world did you get such a beauty .i should buy it from you.
someone gave him to me not for sale
Wait. Where does he put his dog when he’s on a call
That might be the new Willy's biodiesel!
Possibility could be the new bio fuel
"Just for shit and giggles....."
Lol you crack me up steve, sounds like most new hires they have 20 yrs experience and there 20 yrs old 😄
Weird oil, after fire drip?
If you replaced it before with a used one off the truck, than why replace it with another used one and not a new one
Because it’s a junk unit buying time
Where's the Snow??
Thanks again for the videos!
🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🏌🏻♀️🎯
Stay safe.
Retired (werk'n)keyboard super tech. Wear your safety glasses!
Damn Steve that oil looks contaminated and thin as hell. It was flowing out of the line like water.
50% Water!
Looks like bio deisel mixed with water
The perfect combination. What could possibly go wrong with that...
Wow.....when did George Carlin get into the business of oil burners?
Looks like a Hago nozzle instead of a Delavan
Looks like water.
That Town Donut Shop 🍩 have some good stuff?
Missing oil filter
Love the vids - you are the miracle worker
TRIPPING SAFETY SWITCH
Or damaged filter
who knows what the heck is in that oil ?
Sorry but miss molly is the star of the show!!
"She is dry and crusty...."
Easy one which makes up for the shit shows !
