Might I suggest you get her to sit,stand,stay sat at the side of you when you’re stood up, and reward each time,then get her to stand and walk her on with her head as close to your leg by holding and persuading with treats then praise and less treats.
This human takes a ESS to a gun dog training class but doesn't understand the breed. No wonder she became aggressive and unpleasant. Ruby is not a brainless hunting dog. She needs to have a bigger purpose and wants to please her humans. She won't do that if she is being yelled at or abused in any way.
