Biological or adopted a son is still a son. It is only our mothers know who our real fathers are. Plus it does not have any bearing on what is happening in Congo.Mobutu was said to be from Central Africa. That Mama Yemo crossed to Congo when she was already pregnant. Yet the same people are now praising him as the true Congolese cent pour cent
@@Lucas_07-PL Yeah the transition was smooth. Kabila's son took over immediately to avoid a power vacuum Though he overstaid in power he left after democratic elections
Kisase Ngandu was killed by Rwandans and Ugandans specifically Tsutsis because they feared he could influence Laurent Kabila to get rid of Rwandan occupation because Ngandu understood the Rwandan agenda so they killed him.
The versions of Kabila's killing that I researched, were he had a falling out with his Rwandan allies. He has asked them to leave DRC so he can consolidate power, rather than be their puppet. So they funded the scheme for his bodyguards to assassinate him.The fact that the current President Felix has gone on to pardon the alleged conspirators,he is also close to Kagame. So I would not be surprised of Kagame pulled his leg in it.Otherwise Kabila snr was one of those accidental Revolutionaries, but his time at the top was short. His son was not any better and the security problems got worse under Kabila jr. So for now Felix is in power and appeared to have wrestled power from Kabila jr. It terms of economy of DRC,things are looking promising with big projects in the works, but the security situation will be their biggest hurdle to clear.
Let him consolidate power, after which he will push out those foreign powers who are funding rebellion. For now Ugandan forces are in the DRC, No one knows how their presence will end the rebellion in the country. Its a wait and see attitude.
@@timtammie1 Tell them! The whole racket starts from Uganda. That's even where the people who overrun Rwanda and caused death of more than a million people came from. They're the same people wreaking havoc in the Congo, Southern Sudan, Central African Republic, Somalia and most recently Ethiopia's Tegrey region with the backing of the US, Isreal, UK and other EU countries in return of minerals.
But, Kabila was a bully, look at who his allies were. He also repeatedly supplied armor + machetes to aid in killing Rwandese people. This is one of few times we saw true justice in Africa. 🙌🏽
What a history you just gave us. I think it was well planned his assassination from highest people, remember Kabila was the biggest obstacle towards peace at Great Lakes
Kabila really misunderstood why he was placed in that position and over estimated his intelligence in thinking he could play the proxies and their imperialists superpowers forgetting that their interest was a substitution of Sese Seko in the same match far from finishing time. Rwanda's developmental and financial wherewithal is bathed in the blood of Congolese. In other words Rwanda pillaged to develop Rwanda whereas Uganda pillaged to enrich the Museveni M7 clan who have now become the new owners of Uganda. It will be very difficult for Congo to move an inch even though progressive Congolese are desperate for it. What is preventing Congo to full sovereignty is the Congolese Western proxies who have been beneficiaries of every successive regime dating from Mobutu. The Bemba Saolonas, Edward Mokolo wa Pombos, Leon Kengo wa Dondo and many more are still there. At times these are the people used to sign off Congolese sovereignty through mining concessions, big tenders etc. There's so much greed in Congo as the rest of Africa. In neighbouring Rwanda, Paul is always on the lookout for who is the next occupant of Marble Palace for capture into total submission. Congo's problem can only be solved by the African continent if it has the will because tribalism, regionalism, elitism and mistrust has always engulfed their sense of reason that when they're divided they're more vulnerable. If Africa and Congo in particular are not careful, Congo will be the next front of Islamist terrorism who want to curve out a so-called Islamic Caliphate anywhere in the world. This will again lead Congo to become a battle ground for foreign forces pursuing the the Islamists in process leading to massive wanton destruction of lives and properties. In the same vein looting will be an order.
@@kelvinnaholo8234 Very clear and incisive analysis.one of the best I have come across. Without the emotionalism that normally accompanies such analyses. My own take on Congo is that the Congolese should simply forget about the minerals. Gold, diamonds whatever. They are the root cause of Congo's troubles. Yet Congo's richest resource is it's people. The Congolese are some of the most enterprising people in Africa. Wherever they go, they blend seamlessly into the society. In East Africa when they take refuge they immediately get out and start earning gainful living through tailoring, music, hairdressing ,motor repair etc. Unlike some displaced persons who spend more time rioting at UNHCR offices for rations. In the current global digital world, the Congolese should concentrate on acquiring skills which will allow them to bypass government and its stupid system. With such skills they will become global citizens building their capacity outside the convoluted government systems. I have no doubt they are up to the task.
Kinyarwanda speakers have been in Eastern Congo longer than Congo has been a country, even the Belgian and German colonial record show that. People should Stop mixing Rwandan Nationals with Kinyarwanda speaking Congolese, they are related but are not the same. The good path for Afghanistan ends with the monarchy is end The communists wont get the power if they are not in a coalition with the last king is cousin
The story is good but you have missed so many points. Mulenge is a mountain in South Kivu, The Rwandese Tutsi who fled the war in Rwanda around 1959 settled around this mountain Mulenge...and they started calling themselves Banyamulenge. But there is no tribe in the DRC by the name banyamulenge. So you should not talk about Congolese Tutsi. There are not Congolese Tutsi. Tutsi are found in Rwanda, Burundi, and Uganda, Not in The DRC. All Tutsi in the DRC are refugees from Rwanda. They want to become Congolese by force as a community instead of getting nationality as individuals. Kisasi Ngandu was not killed by Kabila. Kabila killed MASASU The guy who had a Rwandan father and a Congolese mother, he was a God father to many of kadogos( Child soldier) because he was the one who recruited them. Kisasi Ngandu was already in the rebellion movement in South Kivu, he was there before Laurent Desire Kabila Could Join the movement. This guy Kisasi Ngandu was a Congolese from Kasai( Tetela)... He was killed by Tutsi soldiers following instructions by their hierarchy from Kigali. After recuperating the lorries of gold that were hidden by Mobutu somewhere in the North Kivu, Lieutenant Ngandu wanted to take this gold into Central Bank in Goma. But Kigali wanted the Gold to itself. So they had to eliminate Ngandu and take the gold to Kigali. So, Kampala and Kigali had to look for A True Congolese man to put at the head of the rebel movement to make it appealing to Congolese and also avoid conflict with the International community. That is how they went to look for Laurent Kabila to be the spokesman of the movement but he was just being used as a puppet to cheat the Congoleseand the international community, the real deal by Kaampala and Kigali was not just to get rid of Hutu refugees and Mobutu, but to possess Congo minerals. Remember in 1998 Ugandan Army and Rwandan Army fought in Kisangani over gold mines... As for Kabila assassination us concerned you are totally wrong my friend. This game was played by the Americans, Europeans and executed by Some Congolese Army officers who were so closed to Kabila including Joseph Kabila known by his true name as Hypolite Kanambe. That boy never killed Kabila. Kigali and Kampala too were aware of this plan to eliminate L. Kabila. If He did, why did they killed him instead of arresting him, interrogate him so that he can tell the truth? But they killed him to make sure there is no trace.
War is stupid and people stupid how could they want gold from Congo as if they dont have their own minerals in their own countries. And now they are boasting of building their countries from scratch after their civil war. After looting and stealing from Congo so sad damn cowards..

@@moszmwesigwa8728 the word on the street has always been that joseph was adopted

Great narrative. But the Congolese managed the transition very well to ensure some semblance of political stability

Kisase Ngandu was killed by Rwandans and Ugandans specifically Tsutsis because they feared he could influence Laurent Kabila to get rid of Rwandan occupation because Ngandu understood the Rwandan agenda so they killed him.
Informative
@@peonyflowers23 KMA!
But how does Rwanda have that much power to control Congo like that?
What a history you just gave us. I think it was well planned his assassination from highest people, remember Kabila was the biggest obstacle towards peace at Great Lakes
By peace in the Great Lake you mean it was against western imperialism and was against making concessions to Western proxy Rwanda Burundi and Uganda
Burundi was NOT part of this is western proxy...
@@kelvinnaholo8234 well that is scary stuff
It's the same in all African countries, After all no African was consulted when border were drawn.
There are Bakongo in DRC,Republic of Congo and Angola. Baluba/Lunda In DRC, Zambia and Angola. Banande/Konzo in DRC and Uganda. So what is all the noise about Banyarwanda?
@@adroapatricklumumba1618 I have no idea, similar to the Bakongo and many other African Ethnicities, there are Kinyarwanda speakers in DRC, Tanzania and Uganda.
@@madoxxxx06 Some people are trying to rewrite history(revisionism). However it is a criminal offence to disenfranchise people. That there are Banyarwanda of Congolese origin is a fait accompli. Even dictator Mobutu acknowledged that and even went on to appoint them in high office. Such talk is what prepares the ground and justification for genocides throughout history.
Very good documentary
The assassination of Masasu the leader of the child soldiers, sanction by the President, is what led to Kabila 's killing...
Amazing profile, didn't know the Chinese were already poaching on Africa as early as this!

I wish someone tells the story of my country, Afghanistan. I can't wrap my head around what's going on over there. Eventhough, I've learnt a lot from these videos, I still can't understand the game being played there. Im happy Eddy Kapend has been released
Remarkable
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it
Keep it SIMPLE pls

War is stupid and people stupid how could they want gold from Congo as if they dont have their own minerals in their own countries. And now they are boasting of building their countries from scratch after their civil war. After looting and stealing from Congo so sad damn cowards..

Why was he eliminated? He could one of those with the longest revolutionary approaches but was not prepared to form government and lead.
