I Love the song. I was told in my Patriarchal blessing. And knowledge, even hidden treasures of knowledge will be opened unto your mind. Treasures that remain buried to most people. This Is in part, that promise manifesting. I am grateful to God for your willingness to share your knowledge. Brigham Young said, "I am looking forward to the time when they, the indians, will come forth to save Israel.... I am very much afraid that we will be their servants instead of their masters. When they do come to save Israel, look to see them like a flame of fire, A mighty rushing torrent, Like the Grand March of Angels." I am striving to live worthy to assist you in building the New Jerusalem.

❤I love hearing your messages, Chief Midegah! I have been a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , now Community of Christ. But they have weakened in the Book of Mormon belief. But I was converted b/c of the Book of Mormon! And I yearn to hear more of these things that are at the root of the Restoration. Thank you for sharing that!

Oh my, I remember hearing Native Americans singing at Pow wows in NY and NC . As soon as he began singing the "Yahweh" jumped right out at me! They sang this word (that I didn't even know was a word). I wasn't raised LDS and I had never heard the word before. I had no idea what the dancers were singing only that it seemed special. Yahweh! ❤ (I did learn the word in the OT after I was baptized but of course I didn't realize I had heard them singing it.)

1:24 To the best of my ability I took the words I heard in the song and wrote them down in Hebrew.
    היה יהוה בבוש
    ובגן.
    היה יהוה. יהוה.
    In English it says:
There was Jehovah in the Bush and in the Garden.
    There was Jehovah. Jehovah.

I'm LDS, and I am so grateful for what Chief Midegah is sharing!! Wonderful! Fantastic! Please know that you are appreciated. I understand that you are sharing the same gospel from the same source. Additional evidence of the truth should never be a problem for anyone. Regarding Chief Midegah's comments on authority, I am surprised that he has received criticism and anamosity. We know that priesthood authority was given to the people of this land anciently. We know that the 3 disciples of Christ from Bountiful are still here from 2500 years ago. That authority was never revoked in the scriptures. Of course, Chief Midegah has authority for his family/tribe--as do all priesthood holders. There is no conflict here. As I understand it, he does not claim to be a prophet speaking for God to all the world. We agree on who is appointed to that role at this time--President Russell M. Nelson. I hope many will accept and appreciate this good man's wonderful message. He carries the spirit of peace and holiness with him, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, we may know the truth of all things.

It’s THOSE THAT TARRY that hold the greatest authority… NEVER FORGET IT! Those that TARRY HAVE BEEN CONSECRATED HOW LONG? If any have COMMUNION with THOSE THAT TARRY …. Ya better hear them. Those that TARRY have PERFECT COMMUNION WITH SPIRIT….. PERFECT! ….. again…. PERFECT COMMUNION…, far exceeding a Jacob 5 condition that’s projected and prophesied to be found in the church in the LAST DAYS; not latter days. This is the LAST DAYS; and I have WITNESS with POWER FROM HEAVEN to prove it…even blood, fire, vapor and pillars of smoke. Even the raising up of the Jewels in similitude and PROMISE! THE KEYS JOSEPH PASSED TO HYRUM…. Joseph likewise still KEPT. DON’T FORGET IT! Do ya suppose that THOSE THAT TARRY hold these Keys? Daaaaaaa!!!!! Of course they do. They are SEALED UNTO THEM ETERNAL. THEY CANNOT BE TAKEN AWAY. …same with Joseph Smith! The keys are SEALED ETERNAL UNTO HIM AS WRITTEN IN REVELATION ALREADY GIVEN; AND SEALED AS A ETERNAL TESTIMONY HOLDING POWER AND AUTHORITY even unto this very DAY. …live the LAW OF CONSECRATION… until then…why boast? Boasting in disobedience? Really. This is why you have not SEALED COMMUNION AND CAN FALL! Joseph didn’t fall! Joseph was murdered. Any people unwilling to CONSECRATE ALL AS COMMANDED… can fall! Including President anybody! …where’s this revelation that any else are SEALED WITH THE KEYS ETERNAL.. even after death. Read your scriptures MORMONS .. then judge yourselves accordingly to that written. MORMONS.. is that offensive … why is that written offensive unto you? Out of ALL THE BOOKS WRITTEN shall RIGHT JUDGEMENT be FOUND. …gentiles only have that given them of the Suffered Jewels…yet they boast. Not even realizing that they are haughty and lofty and have taken power unto themselves; even as IT IS WRITTEN. Consecrate WHOLEHEARTEDLY! Then boast with a broken heart and a contrite spirit living the Daily Sacrifice with honor in purity without guile having love unfeigned.

Beautiful. Years ago I was invited on a tour of a new nature walking trail in Rhode Island that was going through "re-discovered" Native American stone structures and sites. They had also invited a Narragansett elder/official to join the walk and provide commentary as she desired. We had stopped at a large "erractic" boulder that had obviously been moved to that spot in distant times. (We see a lot of these in the Northeast woods) Someone asked how the Native Americans would move such a large boulder. The Narragansett elder told us that according to their traditions, it was moved by prayer. Then a Jewish man in our group told her that he had seen many parallels between Native American culture and his Jewish culture. The one practice in particular he mentioned was that both sang their prayers. She later prayed/sang for us. Quite memorable.

Many times, you listen to Native American chanting or singing, and it doesn't click. One day I saw a video on line of a tribe singing Yah a a weh. They spelled it out on the video, Yahweh. I wondered why I couldn't see it before.
There are also dances that are sacred. They tie back to the creator.

1:26 I know you know this, but for others hopefully it’s exciting. Yahweh (which is in the song) is the Hebrew word for Jehovah.
    MLK means king in Hebrew.
And the star looks like the Star of David (except for the cross in the middle)
    It’s very exciting.

1 Chronicles 15:22 As I began my study of this message I just let my scriptures fall open because I just wasn’t sure where to start. The pages fell open to 1 Chronicals 15 and my eyes landed on 19. I didn’t think it was and answer but I read on anyway. There, in verse 22, I found a “type”.
“And Chenaniah (substitute Midegah), chief of the Levites. (Ojibwe), was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.”
Is this not what he is doing right here?
I then jumped back in the chapter to educate myself and found verses 12 & 13.
“12 And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the (Ojibwe): sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.
Prepared and given a voice for this day. No coincidence that his tongue was severed as a child. He learned to listen and fought for the voice he is in the darkness

@@StevenRetzHow are the Psalms not a prayer? What is a prayer if a Psalm is not? Also, the Savior gave us sacramental prayers and words of ordinances that are repeated. We cannot change God's words because somebody misinterpreted the meaning behind vain repetition. Vanity is the point, NOT the repetition.

      @StevenRetz 2 місяці тому

@@xrpreacher6000 praying someone else's words and the same ones over and over is vain. You can do what the heathens do, and pretend it's not the same, when it is, all you want.

"The song of the righteous is a prayer unto me." Says Jesus in the Doctrine and Covenants.
Singing a prayer, or scripture is a beautiful way to communicate heartfelt feelings. It us not 'vain' if it is sincere.
Also, remember we have many repeated prayers in church. The weekly sacrament prayers come to mind. I wonder if WE need more heartfelt attention when THOSE prayers are said, so they aren't in vain in our own lives.
