Thanks for sharing! What a great nursery. So many plants to choose from! I love when a native plant nursery has a large selection. 😄 Native plant sellers near me are : Native Plant Rescue Squad in Knoxville, TN ; Tennessee Naturescapes in Clinton, TN ; and Overhill Gardens in Vonore, TN. I love all 3. I've bought from all 3, too!

So great to find nurseries that sell the things that we can nerd out about! I saw you mentioning a plant that didn't work out for you... Have you ever done like a learning-from-failures video for natives? Some natives can be really a challenge (especially to get started), and I get discouraged sometimes (like when I've had a species die multiple times and I don't know what I'm doing wrong...). I'd be interested to hear your perspective on that.
Hi Hayley! I am almost positive I didn't put that kidney vine in the right place for success! User error for sure. I haven't ever done any learning from failure videos specifically but I will mention when something hasn't worked out. I think a lot of my failures are not putting the right plant in the right place. I was criminal about it early on. I don't have much full sun gardening space so I would push that "full sun" requirement pretty hard and it always ended in failure. A lot of natives are prone to flopping, I think this is especially true with full sun plants that don't get enough sun. The next time I mess something up, I will do a video, I think that is a really good idea! :)

Hi Annette! I ended up with the viburnums, a passion flower and yellow pimpernel. I meant to go back for the hibiscus but I forgot! I’m still thinking I need to go back for a dwarf chestnut! 😊
