So for all we know the vocalist could have felt nothing and perhaps sounded dull and its all audio magic. Very concerning to me that you have never heard of any of these great musicians before.
i personally wanna set aside the whole “emotions” thing and talk about how gentle and soft yet clear and confident your voice is, even when you’re doing a falsetto, or when you draw your voice back a bit. it’s so clear-cut, as well, your notes. personally, i love it when people belt and do vibratos and let their voice flow out rather than cut it off, but yours in particular…man, i could listen to this on repeat for the next few weeks or months, despite your singing style not being my type. you have such a godly voice, bro-like an angel’s. like, it’s so beautiful and whimsical. i’d say the difference from this one to the original is that hers sounds like a scene where something really emotional is happening, something really sad. it paints a picture of something in blue, and it feels cold and sorrowful, longing. yours is softer and sounds like a faint voice wafting through the air, dancing with the leaves that gently pick themselves up, it sounds like something you’d hear from far away, like a lullaby that just sits right in your heart, or something whimsical you’d hear in the forest as you’re sitting atop a hill. ik the descriptions are a little ott and strange, but that’s how i interpret music 😅 anyways who wanna bet shayne was a siren in his past life-

I've been listening to Shayne Orok for years and this is honestly, probably the first version of any kpop song that I liked. Now, a couple years later, I'm an engene thanks to him (as well as a fan of a few other groups) and I gotta say this is the best cover of polaroid love that I've ever heard. I didn't usually listen to covers because they usually sounded like bad/carbon copies of the originals, but Shayne changed my mind. I've been listening to Shayne Orok for years and this is honestly, probably the first version of any kpop song that I liked. Now, a couple years later, I'm an engene thanks to him (as well as a fan of a few other groups) and I gotta say this is the best cover of polaroid love that I've ever heard. I didn't usually listen to covers because they usually sounded like bad/carbon copies of the originals, but Shayne changed my mind. His is voice so angelic, soft, and confident (sry I'm not great at describing voices cuz I don't really know anything much about singing or music in general).
