This version has an almost ethereal feel that the english doesn't. The original feels more intense and hard hitting, while this is floaty and almost soft, but in the most delicious way possible.
I was trying to find a way to describe this, and you took the words right out of my mouth👏
This. The OG sounds like someone gloating about their infidelity, while this one has the undertones of guilt and secrecy of the sin
THIS. Absolutely this. And it really allows the grief of the story to shine through, giving it a bittersweet lullaby feeling, almost like a sweet voice serenading the death of your love while you danced along a cloud of ignorance and naivety. Overall a beautiful version of the song that I personally prefer over the original.
