Great video and card! TFS! The best part to see was how you made the mechanism to pop up the card. I was trying to do this with another card and could never understand how they made the pop up mechanism ! So awesome to see in the video how it was done and can’t wait to try your card! TFS!

I actually made this type of card with my Grandon's favorite things pertaining to his school and his favorite verse of a poem he liked. I also did the foil technique with toner printing. And we added his Senior picture. I just felt like the graduation packages of announcements are very expensive. And you can make something very original and one of a kind by making your own. I cannot remember where I learned the fold but this reminded me of it. He was so good and excited about what went into the design of it that he picked out fonts, image of school mascot, and typed up and helped with the computer graphics. When I went to the copy store to buy special card stock for part of it and did the toner printing, they got excited to see the end result. It was a very special project to share with him and make his graduation a little more memorable.

Thank you for sharing. It's a Great card. I messed around for a Long time, As well as 2 different die sets for twist and pop... I started doing it This Way in January, But, Only 5x7, and, not Nearly As easy. Lol. I took a bit Longer way around. Seeing it This way, was an Aha! Moment... one of the many reasons I enjoy your channel..

I love your card. My daughter is graduating in a week and a half and this would be a fun card for her. You could put GRAD on the spaces.
I have never made one of these, but have a great nephew graduating from high school this year so I’ll use this video. I used your video with the card that has the mortar board that lifts up and you put a gift card inside it. I made that for another great nephew two years ago. I have a 3rd great nephew graduating in four years so I’ll look forward to what inspiration you come up with then!

I wanted a different card for graduation this year. Have a Niece graduating. I made the one last year you made for my Nephew. And wanted something different. It's going to be a tough graduation my other Nephew was supposed to graduate with her cousin at the same school but he was killed in a car crash just a year ago this week. He was on his way to take his ATC's and was hit by a semi. He was a beautiful young man and it has been a rough year for my family. Thank you for all you do on UA-cam. As my another one of my Nieces that also loves your channel says I love me some Maymay!!!!

Hi ...Ur a genius! :) ... Question: After folding the twist mechanism; if u snipped the very tip off the twist mechanism BeForE gluing it in2 the card centrefold would this enable the card to open out flatter?(only commented because you stated you thought your card didn't open as flat as it did when using your mechanism made with ur previous method).
