Phil Nicolo (Butcher Bros.) talks about the history of the legendary Studio 4 and why mastering a record is important. Phil and his brother Joe Nicolo were and still are sought after producers and engineers. Together with Chris Schwartz they built the legendary Ruff House records, home to artists such as the Fugees and Cypress Hill.
