In the frame at time 2:29 of the video what plant is this? Morning Glory? I have it coming up on the edge of my pasture and the deer were on it all summer.
Chuck, what do you know about Sida (sweet tea) plant? There's some pretty big claims in regards to its protein content and ease of establishment. I see it all along the median and right of way of 431 in north Alabama but never really see deer browsing it. I'm wondering if it'd be good to plant in about two acres of clearing in the middle of a bunch of older pines that have been logged several years ago. Thanks for any advice.
Don't forget to mention all the invasives that love a good thinning: bittersweet, autumn olive, bush honeysuckle, multifora rose, etc better have that under control or your stand can become a nightmare.
Sorry, but you're wrong about deer not staying a food plot; the deer on our property literally strip the soybeans and radishes and mow the chicory clean. Wonder what else you're getting wrong.
FANTASTIC CONTENT
