- www.indiacarne... We finally got the opportunity to test the 2018 Mahindra Scorpio S11 and we were genuinely impressed with the way it drives now. The engine feels lot more alive and punchier throughout the rev band, and the new 6-speed manual gearbox too is pretty slick. The car is faster now as it does 0-100kmph in less than 12 seconds, which is quite impressive for a car of this size. There are a few changes made to the interior and exterior as well, but they aren't too significant. As far as the mileage figures are concerned, it can easily return a fuel efficiency of 13kmpl in city and around 16kmpl on highways, thus returning an average of 14.5kmpl.

I just brought S9 March 2019 !!! Absolutely loving it specially the fact that it’s a indian car and I take pride in it. Coming from an i20 background which has a little more features but the feel what the scorpio has is something unique,I also test drove the XUV500 but it just felt like driving any other car. I love to drive long distances explore India 🇮🇳 and before I used to do it in a i20 which was ok but I fell in love with the Scorpio when I first hired the scorpio S3(no features) from Zoomcar from Bangalore airport for 12 days with my wife exploring the South of India. Driving for long distance or traffic jams were not a problem anymore ,I had a good sitting posture which didn’t make me tired so I enjoyed my time. All I wanna say is which ever car u go for drive it and see if it satisfies your driving needs.(update my car has got a new screen for 2019)

Performance no doubt would have been a big change for this particular suv but where other suv makers like tata offering better ride, better performance, better safety and better quality and comfort in the more or less same price range, I think one should wisely choose between the two. On indian roads we usually get holes so bumpy ride with scorpio i don’t think it will attract the buyers.

Sir, one problem in this car is that, there is no coverage between the 2nd row doors and rear wheels. So, mud, cow dung and many more dirty things stuck on the edge of these doors and when we opened the doors, dirty smell entered the cabin. Please, suggest Mahindra to improve it, like XUX5OO. One of the most rare and practical and very very useful feature of Scorpio is it's Static Bending Headlamps. It makes it different and very safe at night, which is unique..
