Prices should be fair for fans. To be able to afford to go locally. To argue with that is insane and makes you a bit of an arsehole. Because yes its a business, but theres more to football that that. Football is culture. People live and breath football. Its not a normal business where you tap in and out their product/service when and as it befits you
Ya’ll gotta hear the whole pod because after Nuradin leaves, Rants makes a good point. Going to see Man Utd is a privilege in itself. Most of us grew up without Sly Sports, we watched Seria A on channel 4 because we didn’t have cable. Somewhere along those lines. It was an interesting discussion
Imagine beefin’ and arguing over shit none of them have any control over…😅
This is one topic Peckham Reds should keep quiet about
I got what he meant by football ain’t like most businesses, the fans do have a lot of say we just don’t realise it. Remember the super league, that was gonna be a business decision but fans didn’t like it so it got scrapped, we have much more power than we think to change these decisions
In all fairness most of you are new watchers so wont remember when rants on goldbridge channel going to every united game as a season ticket holder. Good points from both sides
Rants is 💯 right. Football is a luxury, there are millions of people around the world who wants to buy a ticket to watch man utd. So the prices will go up.
You dont like the price, dont go there mate and watch it in the comfort of your own home
Nuradin is correct
But can pay rashford 325k a week
Losing money and not making profit are two different things
Most people here have no idea how a company is run... most people also have no idea what inflation is! Rants is right and the “working class” thing is long gone!
@@TRD-JDM
if that’s true why does minimum wage still exist, how comes working families still live below the poverty line?
Working Class supporters should have gotten the message in '92 on the transfer of power from them to Corporations/Billionaire Owners
@@RTM-Sports Because people are stupid... Families are poor because politicians don't make good family policies... Families are poor because they simply brought children into the world without having earned any wealth beforehand... do you think that wars , Covid19 costs and inflation is free?
Why do you think the birth rate is so low? Because the politicians are making bad family policies and solving the problem with migrants from abroad... and no one wants to work anymore!
You're upset about ticket prices but the fact that "Walkford" earns 400,000 a week and doesn't perform is ok... we spend hundreds of millions on bad players but the ticket prices are too high??!😅
Well raising ticket prices ain't really the best practice to get revenue, I think actually selling some players ia better
@@RTM-Sportsblame the banks
Both are right to an extent. Football clubs are buisness but they aren’t all about profit because they would just sell and not invest
Supermarket prices go up due to demand and supply. It's a necessity. There's no reason whatsoever for prices to go up
Of course it is, the people with more money can pay more (demand), the club can increase the price of tickets so that exclusivity is granted (supply). You’re just mad that it’s not you
The prices in supermarkets are going up ye rants that’s why people are on the poverty line as the years go by. United is built on the back of the working class. United is by the people for the people. If the people can’t afford a ticket then the clubs failed. Simple.
Rants was telling the truth and sometimes the truth hurts
You’re a fool if you don’t think futbol isn’t business. As a kid of course you don’t see it but it’s reality. Got to wake up, is what it is.
Nureddin as usual destroyed rants and pants. Imagine being rants, a monotone loser who is only relevant because he beat up DT’s kid and popular only because of his brother Ex. 90% of rants subs are because of EX.
😂😂😂
@@jay-ham5649 UA-cam are suppressing the thumbs up on your comments. I’ve got 5 friends who have all thumbs up your comment but the statistics ain’t showing it
Its peak out here. Dusty beard not been lined up ever since Fergie left, dark times.
The thing that Rants is always right on everything and the other panelists think he is some sort of an intellectual is jarring now. Good on Noruddin
Ticket prices are being raised higher than the rate of inflation over the years... End of argument
nuradin right as always. rants typical incel mindset. sad to see. only one of them for the people. aint bro stuck behind his keyboard. nuradin in these streets fighting for whats right.
Rants is a INEOS shill.
United should just give away free tickets and free kits and then when players can’t get paid the fan base can shut up.
🙄
Credit to nuradin. Idk why they shook of rants , people like him need to be humbled
Guys trying to gaslight Nuradin.
Nuradin is right but it easy to be indifferent about stadiums tickets because they don’t leave their basements in London
You guys want your owners to sign the best players and spend insane money yet when they take a step to generate more revenue you start moaning
Acting like u can't make revenue a different way these same owners want to spend 500 mil pounds to do up the stadium
@@JoshSmithJ19 they are literally acting like they ain’t going to be getting a shed load of extra money from tv deals
thank you someone with a brain. This whole comment section full of idiots
@@MrCfc232 the price increase is £7-10m probably barely enough to pay off the ten hag and ashworth mistakes Ineos made. Rather than increase the price of the tickets only increasing revenue by 1-2% why not actually move diligently with staff hirings and sell some players on crazy wages like Rashford and Casemiro.
You man are looking at things way too simplistic: money up better signings. Trust me these man aren’t gonna do anything with that extra £7m.
These man only want to get profitable to get dividends out the club.
@@yvesmpeg 7x72K is half a million. Now multiply that by however the number of games United play.
⚽️ is a luxury business now
Rants ain't wrong about why they are doing it. Its still messed up for the working class and stuff of course but the reality is that the club doesn't care about them at all and thats the reality unfortunately
Damn never expected a class struggles argument on Mandem talks.
Rants has never gone to a game so Ofc he says this
Light bulbs allover the panel 😂😂
Rants couldn't be bothered about the ticket prices, he'll be I TOLD MAN when they increase the broadband prices and the TV prices
Saeed you want another good clash bring kg on with rantz and talk about zirkzee 😭😭🤣🤣
Football is a business. Always was. Liverpool exist because everton didn't want to pay the rent at anfield as it was too high.
I’m a city fan, so it depends on the percentage increase of the tickets compared to inflation rate. 🤣 rants don’t go to games though so he should of kept quiet
Nuradin thinks your average united fan is as broke as he is
Nuradin would lose his shit if he seen prices we pay for NFL and NBA in America.
Nuradin literally has zero business sense lol Jesus Christ 🤦♂️
