Hi Will & Dawn, We just got off the Norwegian Breakaway and I think you both would enjoy the NCL. This was our 4th cruise with the line and I think the two of you would love the freestyle dining. We did the New England Canadian cruise out of NY. It was awesome.

Never been on a cruise myself but my sisters have been multiple times. I thought the food looked more like Golden Corral than what I had been told how the food on cruises was always amazing. Glad you got to go though and am looking forward to your next cruise adventure.
We love the breakfasts in the dining hall. They only do Brunch once or twice a cruise. Regular days have more breakfast faire. Stuff like Steak and Eggs are only available at Brunch. We eat at Guy's burgers every day. My daughter is going on one next week. She is already looking forward to the burgers.

I have only been on one cruise in 1997 and it was a small ship and I stayed sick the whole time. Lost 15lbs on the cruise. Was y’all’s boat so rocky that it made you nauseous? That’s the only thing I’m worried with and I have to use an electric scooter to walk.
They offer a cruise port day fast breakfast on port days too. In and out in 25 minutes. We are thinking about trying a cruise for our anniversary in February in a few years since it's cheaper and possibly taking our son on a cruise for his 16th birthday instead of doing a party in a few years.
Enjoyed your cruise video so much. We took a carnival cruise in 2016 compared to your carnival cruise ours was way more smooth. My brother and my sis in law like going to Mexico to the all adult resorts. I was against them I was in the cruise mind set. We finally gave in and went with them to Cancun and I am hooked on all inclusive resorts as opposed to cruises. We have been to Valentine Imperial Maya in Cancun. It was absolutely 4 star. They have 10 amazing restaurants not to mention food trucks by the pools, ice cream and coffee shops shows every night and a band every night. Your room is cleaned twice a day, a stocked fridge with beverages of your choice. It’s an all inclusive resort. If you get a chance to go it would be amazing. We always fly out of DFW. I enjoyed seeing Jamie she is a sweetheart! Blessings to Will and Dawn!

We've been on Fantasy x2, Ecstasy x2, Elation, Vista, Sunshine ( it's the only class of ship we will avoid), Magic x2 and Celebration. We have our next cruise booked on Celebration too, going to St. Thomas. The service has always been great. Sunshine seemed to not be as stable in moderate seas like the others. The newer ships have stabilizers they deploy under the ship in rougher seas. Sunshine does have them. I like the Fantasy class for the smaller ships. Celebration is our favorite. Even though it's one of the largest ships in the fleet, it didn't seem to be crowded. As soon as I get on, I go to Guy's Burger for a double pig patty. You also have Mongolian Wok and Cucina Del Capitano on all Vista class and above. We also eat in the MDR for breakfast as much as possible.

If you go to Freeport again, rent a car. Drive around the island. I’ve been to both and I like Grand Bahama Island much better than Nassau. There are many deserted beaches outside Freeport. You can see what the Bahamas are really like. Nassau is all touristy.

The changing and cancelling of ports seem to be happening a lot with other cruises lines and mostly they don’t give a reason because they don’t have to. I did think the food looked better than expected and your room seemed nice except the shower was way too small. Safe travels home.

I love Carnival cruises for the price! I always get Faster to the Fun to avoid the embarkation craziness. Sailed the Vista last April with your original itinerary and loved it. Can't beat Carnival's food even compared to DCL. Too bad you didn't try Guy's Burgers until the last day. I literally never ate at the buffet on this ship for any meal. I will be sailing on the Mardi Gras in February and can't wait!!

Welcome Back. What you got with Carnival is what it’s like on a good day. As a retired 38 year Travel Agent Carnival is the only cruise lines that end up stuck at sea, flooding, everything you can imagine. You don’t get the service or the food. I cruise on Princess or Royal Caribbean or Holland America. NCL is pay as you go with minimal included food so you pay at the restaurants they have on the ship. Service with them is about like Carnival. Celebrity is nice. Disney is very nice and have cruises them solo as an adult and stayed in the adult areas and it was very nice. They have a split bathroom in one is a tub and sink, in the other a toilet and sink. So with multiple people more space to get ready at same time. Always enjoy the videos. So excited that y’all are also traveling internationally. Have a great week.

They also own Cunard, Seabourn, Holland America and a few others. The Carnival ships are considered the most budget cruises. Their brands are all set on different levels of service and amenities included. Even if you cruise on the newest Carnival ships you’re still getting same service, same food, it doesn’t matter that the whole organization is under Carnival Corp. their cruises are all the same. I went on one and never did again. Just a personal preference. I lived in Virginia Beach and we had Carnival cruises out of Norfolk during the summer and at different times. And everyone’s reviews after the cruise was never great. It was “convenient and still a cruise”. And OK was the general theme of it. I like that y’all are trying them. But if you cruise same line after so many cruises you will be a lot of amenities and discounts and more. I no longer work but after selling cruises and taking them for 38 years I still have insight. There are some great European river cruises that let you get up in the villages and towns and be right in the middle of things. I did the Rhine River from Amsterdam to Basel Switzerland. We then took a train to Zurich for a few days. So much to do there as a base. Go up into alps and the glaciers inside. Go to Lucerne or just stay in Zurich a lovely city on lake Lucerne. If y’all did stay in Zurich I have a great 3 star hotel called The Hotel Adler. I also went into Amsterdam 2 nights early so I could see the city, the museums and the Tulip gardens. The entire trip was Amazing. Expensive but worth it. Not flashy or a lot of entertainment but you’re in the towns all day and cruise late afternoons and evenings so you really can see alot of Europe without packing and unpacking and lugging everything around. Love your channel and your adventures. Im mobility challenged now and difficult for me to walk due to back so it’s so nice to watch y’all. You take me there with you. I felt like I was right on the ship with you. I’m not a cruise snob but others lines are nicer like MSC which is still affordable. I am not saying not to go on another Carnival cruise just realize that no matter the ship. Everything else is the same. I’ve rambled too much. Love Y’all ❤

At the buffet it is. The MDR ( main dining room), Cucina Del Capitano, Cha Bang and Guy's Bugers are all free.They have better food.

Nope, never head the room attendant, pull it down. In fact, we've never seen the the room attendant after the 1st day.lol

Definitely not a typical carnival cruise. Been on a few and have enjoyed all 4. Guys burgers rule.
