Brick and Mortar has been my bread and butter too recently. Online has been getting harder and harder & I’ve been at it for 5 years! I run my online from the back room of my B&M after closing down my warehouse too! Shopify is the BEST for it all!🙌🏼 good luck! Looking forward to hearing more!!

When you said you’re tired of constantly being like “Buy my shit” I felt that 😵💫😂 I have an online store and it has started to feel that way. Engagement on my post are little to nothing now and even my stories get very little views which is where we do a lot of try ons. When we do pop ups we do extremely well & now I’m tinkering with the thought of opening a brick & mortar.
Because we get excited to sell our collections and fun pieces then when no one buys we get bitter. And then it becomes "sell, buy this" and then I hate it.

My small town brick and mortar store brings in more sales than my online store of 3 years! Barely any traffic on social media especially. Now I’m teetering towards doing more shopping parties and pop ups. In person and face to face is currently the sweet spot for my boutique!

I feel like the "Golden Years" of Boutiques are pretty much over unfortunately. I've been selling online since 2015 and in-person since 2005 and these last couple of years have been stressful and disappointing.
I have been watching your journey on UA-cam for yrs at this point. You are such an inspiration. Yep pivoting is totally necessary sometimes. I am excited for you new journey ❤❤.

there’s not a lot of people purchasing retail clothing from small businesses right now. I was killing it for a long time with retail clothing and my home decor store and just paused my stores because it’s not worth the stress and loss of finances.

Can you please make a video about first steps to opening a brick and mortar store? So far I've created an LLC, gotten my sales tax certificate for Georgia, and created a business plan. Now it is hard finding a brick and mortar. And after I find a brick and mortar what would be my next steps? I have cash and don't need any type of loan. So I just need steps or guidelines as to what to do once I secure a storefront. Please please please please. Please help me! Lol
What’s wild is people say brick and mortar are dying. I never believe it because people still go out and shop we aren’t all hermits lol. My friend make more/see more traffic at there B&M then they do online. I’m so happy for you I remember watching you when you opened your first store then your second then your warehouse. You’re a smart business women. And have done so much. You’re also one of the only UA-camrs that have kept their store open and stayed with UA-cam videos.

You’re amazing! I have always appreciated your honesty. Been doing online for almost a year and it’s truly brutal especially now but I’m not ready to quit. Bought a fashion trailer and going to start doing pop ups and hopefully collab with local businesses.

I hear you loud and clear, I have been a top rated ebay seller for 20 years and I also have a brick-and-mortar jewelry and crystal store, being a top-rated seller means I have to ship within 24 hours and after 20 years its getting old, I feel what you're saying about you need a break that's where I am at also, good luck to you

I’m always excited to see your video, your decision really makes sense , you are still young and you need to enjoy your life . People asked me if I want to go bigger and I said no, lol
The more big your are the more expenses and the more stress your going to have , unless you really find a good staff that do better then you which is very rare to find that person lol

I use Shopify, and I feel like they are also lacking so many basic features for small businesses. Or you have to buy an app to do the most basic thing. I really want to create a program/software that supports all of these features that we need that are now so time consuming or manual work arounds.. I would love to team up with someone like you that has a much greater knowledge and experience of the business side of things. I’ve only been in it less than 2 years so I can imagine how much more I will learn in the next 10+

Have been following you for last 4 years to know how you are building brand of yours. One thing we all miss out is that an Ecommerce Store is a channel and not business just like Retail store is a channel to funnel up sales. your business is your brand which is built on 3 to 4 key notions like for delivery business OTD performance is a key pillar and for clothing; experience related to service, quality and loyalty is something to talk about.

Don’t use shopkeep! It got bought out. Y lightspeep. I now use Shopify!
