- if your like me you don't like a shine to your bald head so in this video I'm going to teach you how to matte your head. having a shine to my head has never been an interest to me so I have been doing some of these things I talk about in this video to help keep that shine down.

Something I like to do, is use those brown, fast food napkins. I put one on my head, press down all over to soak up the oil, and then stare at how much oil is on the napkin. I do it a few times, because obviously one time won't do the trick.
Yea i guess that works however your jead it always making it so that doesnt keep it matt b8t it is interesting to see how mich your head actualy produces

I'm very grateful for your videos. Initially I was happy that I was one of the ones who easily could make the decision to shave my hair off, so it was lying in the sink only hours after I began thinking about it. But when I realized that the maintenance process should be so much more complicated than I had expected I started to feel very uncomfortable about it. Your videos have been really informative and thanks to them I now feel that I know what I need to know and feel comfortable again.

Great video as always! I use headshed exfoliant scrub, headslick or soaps with brush, headblade moto original plastic or s4 gold finger, thayers witch hazel cucumber and headlube glossy, in the summer headlube SPF 50! Have a great Sunday! I like shine head!

No I have not. this is first time of hearing of it.
Yeah, it's the only thing I've tried that actually mattifies your head. Everything else is just lotions.
Yeah, this stuff is good. It's Amazon too. It's just a little more expensive on there.
Yeah, no one seems to know about it, but it is the most mattifying cream I've ever used, and it lasts forever, you have to use makeup wipes to get it off.
Nice video and interesting topic. I guess you don't want your head to look like a "bright ball," but I'd not want to compromise the shine too much. Part of the appeal of shaving all the hair off the scalp is the nice shin that a bald head has. For those of us who prefer bald to hair, it's hard to achieve the nice shine that naturally balding men have.
Yea every head is still going to have a shine I think its more a matter of how much of a shine do you want like me i prefer a little but still want people to be able to see the shape of my head under the sun where some want it to be another sun lol

yup that it can. Id prefer to use that in emergency only though as I'm not comfortable putting powders on my head.

I just want to add my routine that works great. Adding any kind of cream makes my bald head shinier shortly after applying it. The following is what I do, and it works like a charm: I first shave my head with a slightly used razor, that will eliminate a very sore scalp after shaving. Also, I simply use Vaseline Intensive Cream when shaving my head. I shave my head every other night, and at night only! Then I apply Every Man Jack Mattifying Face Lotion to keep my scalp from drying out. The next morning, when I am ready to leave for the day, I wash my head 2-3 times with Irish Spring Soap. Those washings will take off all of the Every Man Jack Mattifying Face Lotion, and will completely take off any oil left on my scalp. I do NOT apply ANYTHING to my bald scalp, and have very little oil or shine that appears durning the day; it is quite minimal, and is really not noticeable. After many trials & errors, the above works like a charm. All the topical oils, creams, etc., are just a waste of money, and DO NOT WORK! I hope the above helps others, as I know how I felt with a shining, glowing bald head. It is nice not to even be concerned about checking my bald head durning the day.

yea I think they only test on animals for brand new products though and better that then humans I sopose. but I get it and wish they didn't either.
This upkeep is getting out of hand... Shaving your head was supposed to make life easier right? Now I'm having to shave it everyday, all this beard care, all the weightlifting, now this...

LOL the nice thing is about all of it is you get to choose how deep into it you get! simple shave when you shower works as well as being a fat ass like me and not working out hahaha.

well if your not doing anything and don't smell or get dirty then yes as there is no reason to shower then. however I do understand that different cultures have different norms heck some places here its normal for a shower a day as well where others its 2 times a week lol

Only shower when you're dirty or when you stink. Detergent companies are making a killing off of everyone showering when they don't need to.
