I am a 69 year old grandma who found you during the covid crisis. I love your videos. I have tried several of your recipes and will continue to try more. We love them all so far. Thank you.
I’m sick in bed and your cheerful video is a really nice distraction from discomfort. I’ve been subscribed for a while but I’m enjoying a little binge in the middle of the night to stay relaxed. God bless.
I could feel your joy and your love for life and for your family through this video. You and your sister were very entertaining, I loved how you danced and shook your hips while the blender was going. This will be my first salsa verde attempt, thank you for making it look easy and for being so thorough in your video and in listing the ingredients.
Love listening to you both going back and forth. I feel that makes your cooking the best because the love and playfulness between you guy. Please keep it up. Love you your tube
Omg! I swear I can’t love y’all more! And how stinking yummy and easy does it look! I have my 90 year old mother in law from Texas quarantining with us here in Georgia and she doesn’t love heat but she is missing her “green enchiladas” and salsa! Guess what we are having tomorrow night girls, love you and Cloud! Thank you for being you and here for us! You make us happy in this weird and sad time... she and I watch y’all all the time! 🥰🥰❤️❤️😍😍
Hey queen, I’ve been a long time viewer and didn’t think to comment until I heard the you comment about transmitting energy to each other 🥺 I‘ve made a lot of your recipes and love watching!!
Amigas make this one. 5 arbol chiles 5 puya chiles 2-3 serranos 3 med tomatoes 1/4 onion 3-5 garlic cloves 3 tablespoons of oil Knorr de pollo Chicken stock Heat oil in frying pan on med heat add tomatoes onions serranos garlic for about 4-5 minutes add arbol n puya till well toasted add everything in blender with knorr de pollo oil from pan and 1/2 CUP OF STOCK blend add pepper and more knorr ass needed can be spicy. If too spicy add surgar
@@kathydebernardo3459 I am going to say a guajillo pepper is.. it not as spicy but it has the fruity essence. I would use 2 of them. If you do not have these then Cheyenne or paprika powder will work a dash of either one.
Absolutely love the salsa videos! super helpful for a non hispanic pico de gallo comes different ways from other families, would love to know what you make/prefer. thanks for your time
THANK YOU for this! I've always hated the raw green salsa, and I didn't know the difference between boiled and roasted. Thank you so much for the clarification.
The first salsa verde recipe I tried was Bobby Flay's, and he roasted them and added honey... the whole salsa tasted like honey. It was terrible. Now I just use raw tomatillos, peppers, cilantro and garlic salt. So fresh, so delicious. To do you one better... that really hot verde salsa you get in good Mexican restaurants is boiled jalapenos, add to blender, add a little minced garlic, pepper, and salt to taste - then emulsify with olive oil. Creamy and oh so freakin spicy! Great with fish tacos.
lol bobby flay adding honey makes a lot of sense. I get wanting to experiment from time to time, but it's good to have a good base that isn't tampered with. i could see a honey salsa being good in a context, but in general the plain one is perfect :0
Oh my golly. That roasted Verde sauce. Oooo. Be still my heart. My son in love's Mexican mama used to make me salsa Verde. It was so delicious. She passed about 2 years ago. Now, I can finally make some myself. This gringo has loved every recipe I've made from your channel. Thank you❤️
I'm intrigued by keeping the garlic skin on, but I imagine once it's roasted and blended, it may be more digestible. The salsa looks amazing, so I'm interested in trying it. Thanks for these great recipes and fun videos!
Whoever did the music deserves a medal for the latin jazz version of the vaporwave version of Diana Ross' It's Your Move at 4:25. I came looking for salsa recipes, I didn't expect to laugh so hard it woke up my dog.
I love your recipes, particularly this one. I have been making a hybrid version. I boil the tomatillos and roast the onions, peppers (tripe), garlic. I also add some garlic powder for extra punch. The flavor is wonderful. Thanks for all you do!
Today is my husband’s dad’s birthday, never got to meet him but honoring him today with your recipes 🤍 just made your Bolilos for tortas tonight and now making your roasted salsa verde! Thank you two for teaching me to cook the things my husband would eat in his childhood, he always says it’s on point just like his moms 🤍🤍🤍
