They shortened the song for mtv… and most shows replace and extend it with audience participation. On the album, udo had a few lines between the end of the solo and the restart of the aah chant. “Cone on man/ let’s stand up all over the world/let’s pluck a bomb in everybody’s arse/they don’t keep us alive/we gotta fight for the right/and build a wall with the bodies of the dead/ and you saved/ make the world scared/ come on, give me the sign of victory/sign of victory/ SIGN OF VICTORY!” (Cue legato slide of wolf hoffman’s axe as the song kicks of again to the chorus)
Next Accept songs you should listen to is "Son of a Bitch" or "Princess of the Dawn" if you haven't heard "Fast as a Shark" you should listen to that as well.
Oh yes such a classic Banger! Also check out the Album Version of this Song. It contains another Part that was unfortunately cut in this Video. Where Udo SCREAMS (Show me the Sign of Victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
By the way, thank you for taking my suggestion and great reaction, as always! Keep up the good work, Grasshopper! You have a long way to go, but we're here for you.
WTF?? That is a cut version. The entire solo is missing. I saw those guys live several times when they were still Accept. Now it's pretty much the Wolf Hoffmann Show.
Great reaction love me some Accept. Classics are fast as a shark. Midnight mover restless and wild take it up to the limit. And my favorite Metal Heart.
Accept became famous with the song I'm a rebel.... a song written by Alex Young (there is even a demo with Bon Scott on backing vocals) but the song was rejected by AC/DC and picked up by Accept.
Ah, Udo Dirkschneider. Accept with him at the front was my highschool soundtrack. Well, not all of it. There was some Yngwie Malmsteen too... You need to get some "Cry soldier cry" and "As good as I get".
YES!...Udo Dirkschneider & Accept from Solingen,a small Town near my own Hometown Düsseldorf/Germany....this is pure German Metal History!.....but you should have started with their Breakthrough Songs : FAST AS A SHARK & PRINCESS OF THE DAWN!!!!.......a lot to discover for sure!!!!....here we go on YOUR journey !!!
I remember being in high school me and the old man would listen to VH1 metal hour that was my first exposure to accept and it dug my further into the metal army
UDO is extremely good and an awesome down to earth man. I actually met him about 10 years ago in Sweden rock festival. I had a passs to backstage and also worked by bringing stuff to bandmembers. Udo sat down right infront of me with a beer and we chatted awhile lol.I didnt get the shakes until after thankfully i was just so struck at how an awesome dude he was. I heard he sometimes went out in the beer tents on the festival grounds and had a few laughs with fans during the day.....Awesome guy with an awesome voice.
Oh man, this brings back memories. It was every guy's anthem. It'd be playing full blast if we're trying accomplish something. Weight lifting, construction project, car work, project for work, etc.
Aug 3rd 1985 Summer Jam 85. Krokus (filled in for Helix) Y&T, Accept and Motley Crue. Lynn Manning bowl Massachusetts!! If only you listened to the album version!! Your reaction would’ve been worth seeing all the more!! It was a great time to be alive!!
old school....there you go. Yes, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Metal Heart, Living for Tonight, Screaming for a Love Bite, Too High to Get it Right are all GREAT songs from the METAL HEART album.
Great classic metal song and band, but they (is it Vevo?) cut the song short (omitted a part)! A good part of this song is missing. Why do they do this?
Rock City, Screaming in the Night, Easy Rocker, Long Stick Goes Boom, To the Top, Headhunter etc. These swiss guys do have lots and lots of good old hard rockin´metal anthems :-)
Time to try Halford solo band album Live Insurrection it has Priest era, Fight era bonus studio and more please listen at Halford vocals on 2001 the Remastered version its way better in quality you wont believe how high he can get live you wont regret this a bit.
More great Accept songs should be Metal Heart, Midnight Mover, and Fast as A Shark for the Udo era, and for the Mark era you should bend an ear to Stampede, Dark Side of My Heart, Pandemic, and Koolaid
OK, old metalhead from the 80s here. Let's chat. Yes, the longer version of this is better. This one misses some very important aspects! Some people have recommended Midnight Mover. Good song. More in line with the 80s metal/pop metal of the time. Think Turbo Lover from Judas Priest or AC/Dc Who Made Who as a similar categorical track. Another from Accept would be Screaming for a Love Bite. "Fun" metal, per se. Other tracks from them I enjoy: Love Child Living for Tonight London Leatherboys Princess of the Dawn (I see you have done that one) Now, that big hair metal era had other bands/songs you may or may not know of such as: W.A.S.P. - Wild Child Cinderella - Shake Me Ratt - You're In Love Angel City (aka The Angels) - Marseilles (OK, no big hair with these guys, but a definite AC/DC feel! They are also from Austrailia) the Heavy Metal soundtrack.... yes, all of it! Sammy Hagar - Heavy Metai is one of my favourite songs ever. ua-cam.com/video/NQE1Q1NILfQ/v-deo.html Lee Aaron - Metal Queen (she was!) Helix - Heavy Metal Love This is just the tip of the iceberg, but if you like these, I have many others you will enjoy. Benefit of growing up in that era and DJing for many, many years! Cheers!
Watch this video and then watch "Spinal Tap" the movie, a lot of the mannerisms of Spinal Tap (especially Nigel Teufel) just have to be based on Accept.
And now all together : Heidi Hei Do Heida...Heidi Hei Do Heida........and the fastest Song at that time started !!!!
Fast as a Shark!
This song is EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The perfect song to troll people at metal clubs :> It's a great way to check if the DJ actually is knowledgeable about metal...
And Breaker!
Another one to check out: Warlock All we are.
The Queen of Metal, Doro Pesch.
Yes, yes, yes! It's overdue.
YES! Doro 4 ever!
Fight for Rock has the edge in my opinion.
or Dancing with an angel (Doro and Udo singing a duet) pure magic.
Eso con fuerza y energia . Musica poderosa .
Como la disfruto ( chile )
Next Accept songs you should listen to is "Son of a Bitch" or "Princess of the Dawn" if you haven't heard "Fast as a Shark" you should listen to that as well.
got princess of the dawn done in the playlist!!
@@MrRockNRollLive cool
"Princess of the Dawn" is my favorite. "Son of a Bitch" is great as well.
"Breaker" is another awesome one.
Son of a bitch original version. Not the "soft radio version" born to be rich... or something...
Accept: "Fast As A Shark"
My first introduction to that type of aggressive double bass.
Think (earlier) Judas Priest with a shot of adrenaline
Now go and listen to Witchery's cover of the same song...
Udo is a legend. Those 80's Accept years were exceptional...
Fast As A Shark!!!!!!!
Wolf always pulls great tones. LEGEND \m/
Oh yes such a classic Banger!
Also check out the Album Version of this Song.
It contains another Part that was unfortunately cut in this Video.
Where Udo SCREAMS (Show me the Sign of Victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
To add to the content you already covered, longer solo in the studio version :)
Yes! The studio version has an interlude with Udo opening a can (of beer I assume). It makes the song imo.
I hate when they react to this. "Make the world scared..." missing that part bad.
The only version to listen to. Though it’s easy to play, I still love playing this on the bass!!
By the way, thank you for taking my suggestion and great reaction, as always!
Keep up the good work, Grasshopper! You have a long way to go, but we're here for you.
Accept-Burning....classic
40 лет назад слушал😊
Princess of the Dawn
Saw them play in ‘84 on the Monsters of Rock at Donnington, fantastic and loved the synchronised headbanging as well!
Priest had Sychronised guitar movements as well, but Accept did it more like Marching haha
WTF?? That is a cut version. The entire solo is missing.
I saw those guys live several times when they were still Accept.
Now it's pretty much the Wolf Hoffmann Show.
Best pick slide ever leading into the pre chorus after the chanting. Fucking power
Great reaction love me some Accept. Classics are fast as a shark. Midnight mover restless and wild take it up to the limit. And my favorite Metal Heart.
You need to check out the unedited album version of the song, which is a minute & 16 seconds longer. It makes this great song even better🤘🏼
I saw them (this lineup) in 1984. They warmed up for Motley Crue and Ozzy! Louisville, Kentucky!
Saw someone suggest Krokus try Headhunter Midnight Maniac (the big hit is Screaming in the Night, but figure you might have heard it)
Yeah! Another epic old german Band.👍👍👍
It is definitely their best song !!! One of the best Metal songs in history in my opinion
Dude you got to listen to fast as a shark you're going to love it
...and then Witchery's cover. The intro alone is worth it.
this song is amazing
Another great Song by them = Fast as a Shark & Restless and Wild. Also Metal Heart and Slaves to Metal
Restless & Wild and Demon Night 🤘🏼
YES!...Udo Dirkschneider & Accept from Solingen,a small Town near my own Hometown Düsseldorf/Germany....this is pure German Metal History!.....but you should have started with their Breakthrough Songs : FAST AS A SHARK & PRINCESS OF THE DAWN!!!!.......a lot to discover for sure!!!!....here we go on YOUR journey !!!
He said he reacted to Princess of the Dawn already.
Didnt see that chang coming! Gosh the crowd live would just be so fun to be in!
This is one of those songs that are heavier than just Heavy Metal!!! The voice stamps so much power and the BASS, whoaa!!!
What a great reaction bro!!! And a timeless kick ass no nonsense rock n roll tune!!! Rock on!!¡
Mr. Rock n Roll! Where have I been! Your my new favorite reaction dude! Awesome!
80s Germany powermetal at its finest!!!!
You Rules, Eres guay! Another classic Accept song I am rebel

My wresting coach would let us play this before we came out. Never lost
You should listen their live songs at Wacken 2018 with the symphonic orchestra. Listen the Breaker.
The audio is cut short for the clip video, listen to the full song! There are great passages missing!
Apocalyptica - Live or Die
You won't be sorry!
you gotta hear the full version bro
Great classic metal song and band, but they (is it Vevo?) cut the song short (omitted a part)! A good part of this song is missing. Why do they do this?
Holy Man by One Minute Silence
Damn they cut some of it out but still loved the reaction 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Accept - Metal Heart
With Accept you don't simply listen some songs, you listen the whole albums, all from the 1979-86 timeframe

Balls To The Wall by ACCEPT damn cool video
Accept kicks ass.
There's nobody like good old Udo Dirkschneider. That guy is fucking unique. And Accept were the fastest and dirtiest around for quite a while
Time to try Halford solo band album Live Insurrection it has Priest era, Fight era bonus studio and more please listen at Halford vocals on 2001 the Remastered version its way better in quality you wont believe how high he can get live you wont regret this a bit.
You were not prepared for that...
More great Accept songs should be Metal Heart, Midnight Mover, and Fast as A Shark for the Udo era, and for the Mark era you should bend an ear to Stampede, Dark Side of My Heart, Pandemic, and Koolaid
Then there are also these accept classics:
The winter days
Teutonic terror
Russian roulette
Can't stand the night
Restless and wild
OK, old metalhead from the 80s here. Let's chat.
Yes, the longer version of this is better. This one misses some very important aspects!
Some people have recommended Midnight Mover. Good song. More in line with the 80s metal/pop metal of the time. Think Turbo Lover from Judas Priest or AC/Dc Who Made Who as a similar categorical track. Another from Accept would be Screaming for a Love Bite. "Fun" metal, per se.
Other tracks from them I enjoy:
Love Child
Living for Tonight
London Leatherboys
Princess of the Dawn (I see you have done that one)
Now, that big hair metal era had other bands/songs you may or may not know of such as:
W.A.S.P. - Wild Child
Cinderella - Shake Me
Ratt - You're In Love
Angel City (aka The Angels) - Marseilles (OK, no big hair with these guys, but a definite AC/DC feel! They are also from Austrailia)

Lee Aaron - Metal Queen (she was!)
Helix - Heavy Metal Love
This is just the tip of the iceberg, but if you like these, I have many others you will enjoy. Benefit of growing up in that era and DJing for many, many years!
Cheers!
Udo was great!! Teutonic understatement i would say.
Not sure why every video removed the crunching sound in the buildup
Try some of UDOs solo albums, the track Man and machine for example.
If you like this one, than you MUST listen to:
Accept _ Metal heart
Metal church _ Ton of Bricks
Right up your alley!!
Do FIGHT IT BACK,.
Greatest scream in Metal HISTORY~
