Solid review as always Toby. I happened to have this on my sample list tonight so you publishing this was great timing. Shocked at that price but a solid whisky. Cheers
Good to here your review. Loved the tasting notes, and the experience. I can't fathom the price increase. I may have to get one for the shelf as our prices have not gone up for this yet. Thanks for sharing.
@@WhiskyShared I did shoot this, about 2 years ago. Also have a bottle open. Right now, I can still buy the half bottle for £25, so after hearing the price jumps you mentioned, I was thinking I should put another in storage, just to enjoy later.
Hi Toby, I am very curious about this series Stephanie created....I thought the bottle content for the trilogy was 37,5 cl, not 50 cl, by the way ? It is great that this one bears a pretty decent abv for a blend & ncf/nc is a plus...Very expensive though (well done your discount grab, my friend !) & not available in France...too bad. Cheers !
@@WhiskyShared Oh this is great then, first time I hear that....I'll be happy, but like I mentioned elsewhere we'll both have to pay for that due to Brexit & co (let's see that in DM if you want, as money wise it is not worth one sample only with those heavy customs fees), Cheers !
You paid 80 pounds? Interesting, I'd say it is worth that price, but interestingly enough, here in Canada, we're getting an incredible deal of around $40 CAD at craft cellars, which is about 25 pounds!
I am sorry but at £100 for 500ml it’s actually pro rata £140 and there are better whiskies for that price - never mind the ridiculous amounts they want for the 27 & 32 in the same sized bottle. I’d rather buy a single malt

At least there are several retailers selling at the regular price. It may well increase everywhere soon though

Thank you Jonathan. Interested to hear your thoughts if you do get a bottle.

@@WhiskyNeighbour I see. I'll check it out. It seems many whisky producers are hiking their prices up.
I just got one of these (750ml) using a coupon and paid around $84 USD or 68 pound.
Nice one 🥃
Thanks for the honest review, Toby.

It appears that this is 37.5cl in North America but it's definitely 50cl in Europe. Happy to send you a sample.

The bottle sizes are different but it's still cheap in Canada. The price has actually gone up in the UK and it's now £125
@@WhiskyShared wow ... I think it is because this is a collectors item. But that is a lot of money, even with the 125 ml difference
It's $47.99 in wisconsin
That's great value.
Great review. It stinks, it is so much in Europe. You can still find them for around 50 US here in the states.
It seems the US version is 375ml and the UK version is 500ml. However, the US version is still better value.

Of course and that's your prerogative. As I said, at the price I paid, I'd but it again but not any higher.
