    This can be used as a table saw outfeed table or an assembly table as well. It sits on casters so it can be easily moved around small spaces. It has a spot for a roll of construction for finishing a project or glue ups. It was made from standard 2x4s and plywood for the workbench top. The build process was easy and straightforward. I've included free plans to the design below. Design inspired from Fix This Build That.

    Nice workbench. That feeling when you see the brad go through the top... yeah, I know that feeling very well!

      Thanks! I recently saw a video by the wood whisperer that talked about how to shoot brads to avoid that - it was game changing.

      Yep! Maybe in a few years, I'll build another, an improvement over this one with dog holes and a leg vise or something!

    Thought about adding a wood working vise???

    • @CasualBuilds
      @CasualBuilds  4 роки тому

      I've thought about building a table top moxon vise. This table is primarily an outfeed table at the moment, so I wouldn't want anything to be permanent.

      I’m probably gonna steal your design and put a wood working vise on one end as opposed to the dowel for the paper.

      Awesome! Yea, the base of the workbench is pretty straightforward, but definitely add some customization based on your specific needs. I built this based on a design that FixThisBuildThat posted - check out his video too!

    Dude! What's the little hole starter tool ya got there? I think I need one of those bad boys! Awesome video, man!

    • @CasualBuilds
      @CasualBuilds  5 років тому

      Thanks! Are you talking about that little silver punch tool? That thing is awesome! Helps with pre-drilling to make sure it's exactly where you want the hole to be. I put a link to one in the description for ya!

    Hi Tim, I really like how it looks.
    I believe you did not save any room for a side vise. Any specific reason?
    I am still in the planning phase for mine and I have not made up my mind yet...

    • @CasualBuilds
      @CasualBuilds  5 років тому

      Hi Paolo, thank you! You're correct, I did not leave room for a side vise. I have a smaller metal one sitting on my back cabinets that works for now. Eventually, I may build a twin screw vise that I can clamp down to this workbench when in use. Good luck with your workbench build!

    What are the top diemensions of the workbench?

    • @CasualBuilds
      @CasualBuilds  5 років тому

      Hi Ryan, it's roughly 56" x 32" and that includes the 3/4" strip of poplar edge banding. Hope that helps!
