Multiple questions for a podcast episode for mike 1. Growing up going to fultoni assume we got to watch some of the same drivers late 90s early 2000s so who where you pulling for at fulton so many names it seemed like ran fulton every week from barefoot bob and t mac to decker ward hearn ran weekly for awhile I think and I personally was pulling for jj Michael's every week 2 favorite vic 200 memory as a fan and favorite memory racing the 200 now as the outlaw 200? 3 what was going thru a driver's head when they announced syracuse would no longer hold a race and was set to be demolished and the original plan was the race complex they planed to build out behind the brewerton speedway between the track and i-81
Boy does this channel bring back memories. I basically grew up around stock car racing and especially at Lebanon Valley. Started going when I was 7. Worked in pit concession and back gate from 14 till I was 22. My entire family worked there at one time or another. Dad drove the pace car and ran the street stock division for years. My brother raced street stock and sportsman. I attended Super Dirt week every year from age 12 till my late 30's. Just love watching. Keep up the good work Mandy!
That was a super good run. Lebanon valley is almost kind of a follow the leader track. If you’re not starting up near the front, it might all forget it. Love that truck though I’ve been there many times Great job for the 35 team ❤️👍👍👍
Mike is good man. He is humble and thankful that He can race for a living. Mike is not snob or mean to People. You have be bless with a good husband. I hope he wins alot of races.
I live near Lebanon Valley. It is my "home" track. It is one of the fastest dirt tracks (half mile) in the US with long straights and steeply banked turns. Go Mike!
I feel like you have come off the bottom a little and have been on fire a little ever since I love it Congratulations on a great race nice confidence builder looked great
Awesome video Mandee!!! You did awesome with the Signals too. Mike did awesome as well I do have a question but it might be better if I ask Mike in person 😂🤣🤪
Great race Mike! It must be hard to figure some of just the little things to run 100 laps. Like how many tearoffs, what tire pressures due to heat build up, when to save fuel with no mandatory stop...etc...Am I correct in reading (on Facebook) that there was no competition stop?
Congratulations Mike, great race, hard work always pays off and is showing. The number 1 spot is coming your way. You have an amazing crew and of course and amazing wife. Thanks Mandee for always bringing the utmost best content of all the races to our eyes. Being from Ireland we don't have much racing so I really appreciate you hun💯🤗 It's lovely to see you and Mike being able to spent some time with each other, it should be done more often, he seems to be in better form when you 2 have that time to chill before a race😎 Well stay safe and keep smiling 🙂🍀🇨🇮
Idk if that sign was from this year but it said Monday May 30th haha! great job Mike and the whole crew you guys are awesome I love watching all of you!!! I look forward to every video I wish I could be there in person for all of your races! This is the next and best thing!!!!!!!! You guys work your asses off every single race. Thank you so much for bringing us these video Mandy you do a kick ass job with them every time especially how much work it is just to do the videos for the races!!!
You should get a rumble filter for the audio, especially in the vehicle. We use them in live performance audio. I am betting you can get one pretty cheap for editing. It would up your game, but also increase the amount of work to turn around videos. The only other option would be having lapel microphones. Mike is there an option to increase the reaction of your engine on starts/restarts? I am thinking you are over cammed and could experiment with loosening the lash a bit to see if it helps. Been there done that. Great run! Keep up the hard work!
great run mike i am searching my brain to find that 20 horsepower matt has on everyone buy the way there is a great diner in town if you make a right out of the track heading toward albany its on the right side after you cross over the big highway drag racer ray
Having a dedicated crew getting the prep done and things done when the driver get to the track is key. They can check do what they need to hone their craft and get ready for the race. Being mentally and physically prepared is the advantage especially going into a busy race schedule and long races. Good results this small stretch..
How about the craziest thing you've seen a driver, crew member, or track worker (where nobody got hurt but you found hilarious). What was it that they did.....father, brother, Mandee, or Mike and when & where?
Great run guys. Podcast question.......I saw in the video that Mike was lending a hand to the car pitted next to you. My question is this, is the practice of helping out other competitors with advice, parts, etc. still as common as in the past or is it fading away? If it is fading away, why?
Do most bigger teams have a crew chief per say or are the drivers the set up gurus does billy make the set up calls? it seems like mike makes all the calls on what to do if so who are some of the big names that have a respected set up/chassis guy? How much help comes from car builder and have you ever considered or had a crew chief and how much credit do you give to drivers like billy sr.matt shepard etc the guys that have ridiculus win numbers when guys have that kind of success are they that superior behind the wheel or are they set up genius's maybe in the old days equipment was easier to gain advantage but nowadays everybody has good stuff and finally is just a good shock guy enough! lol you wanted questions ther you go lol! good luck still pullin for ya!
Lebanon Valley is my home track but I wanted to experience Weedsport so that’s what we did. Plus I didn’t think you guys liked The Valley since you don’t race it often.
Lots of nice comments and interesting questions for the pod! Really strong run for Team 35 and hopefully portends a strong summer coming up...I predict a "hometown" win at Airborne in a few weeks. In an ironic twist, yesterday's Pick 3 here in North Carolina was 235! Rather see a 135... I'm guessing Taco Bell was your "late dinner" drive-thru choice.
Great run, great crew no doubt. Hard to beat shepherd when on pole, or even if is 9th. Never seen last year's always up front blows by people like aren't even there. His magic rain will sooner or later fade happens to everyone. Plus fans don't like everytime he shows up can't see anyone else win some big money. We like to watch 2nd on where at least see side by side racing.
I do enjoy your videos. And moments like these, behind the scenes. Mike just chilling. Anyhow. I do have a podcast question. I know Mike is a 358/BB mod driver. But what is his take on the current situation with DIRTcar Sportsman, specifically the "affordable" class being difficult to afford and limitation to only GM's 602 Crate Engine, which now is becoming a gimic all in it's own between difficulty obtaining engines at affordable costs, some apparent quality issues, and DIRTcar not allowing any possible Alternative? Hell. I'd be happy with Junkyard Magnums (Dodge) if I could. 318 or 360!!
Drop us your thoughts! We want to hear them...
you never said where you were in line at the end! wife very upset LOL
oh and great job!!
Good job Mike and crew. Keep plugging away.
I say Taco Bell

Good run Mike and the 35 crew. podium finishes are always good.
The Toter was damaged pretty bad last year, did Team 35 fix it or did you send it out and if so where did you send it.
Nice run, Mike looked comfy in the car. Steering wheel looked good. Car looked good and sounded good in the corners
its in troy ny

You know what Joe - I didn’t even notice that on the sign. Good catch 😂 and thank you as always!!! You are the absolute best!
Question I have. Is there a meaning behind the # 35 or was it a family member #
I was there I work on a pro stock car I was rooting for you guys good run
Please cover you and Mike more
How fast do the dirt mods go at Lebanon Valley? I'm in Connecticut so all we have is asphalt mods

Maybe he's just a better driver and knows how to set his car up different? A good setup is hard to beat

Probably wishing for a Wawa
Mandee when Mike said he needed just a little bit more would any of that come from the horse power department??
@Yamaharider158 damn Sheppard is always fast. Thanks for the insight.
Congratulations Mike Mahaney!
Looked good nice race
Great run Mike. Great video job Mandee . Your pit crew did a great job for you Mike .
Great Run !! Where's Alli....
Matt annoyingly won another but Mike beat Andy Bachetti!!! 💪 Bachetti owns that place!
As usual, Go Mikey Go! Time for a little maintenance. Stay the course, and Keep Moving.
Here is a question life on the road outside the travel to the track.
How about the craziest thing you've seen a driver, crew member, or track worker (where nobody got hurt but you found hilarious). What was it that they did.....father, brother, Mandee, or Mike and when & where?
There was litterally less then a hundred fans in the stands... WOW
Yay team 35! Way to go. Keep it going.
Great run guys. Podcast question.......I saw in the video that Mike was lending a hand to the car pitted next to you. My question is this, is the practice of helping out other competitors with advice, parts, etc. still as common as in the past or is it fading away? If it is fading away, why?
I was wondering the same thing. It’s been 35 years since I’ve been in the pits
Fantastic question!! Thank you
115 back yard

Lucky
Does Mike have any hobbies or is it Racing 24/7 365. Sometimes you have to do something away from racing. If you don't you will get burnt out??
Lebanon Valley is my home track but I wanted to experience Weedsport so that’s what we did. Plus I didn’t think you guys liked The Valley since you don’t race it often.
Never fells just like 69k always stay up front for the big money Shepard the same way
Mike always has that smile on his face and he is always humble
Lots of nice comments and interesting questions for the pod!

Ahhhh you’re close!! But it was McDonald’s 😉 and thank you!!!
Mike did great
It's in West Lebanon.
Great run, great crew no doubt. Hard to beat shepherd when on pole, or even if is 9th. Never seen last year's always up front blows by people like aren't even there.
Random draw 1-12 sucks. Heat race winners should go to a draw for 1-4 or 1-5 and then everyone else has a second draw for 5-12 or 6-16.
Great run !! Going to be a good year. The guy in the 7D is useless wow....
Let's hear that @7:30 or so
How or what does Mike feel will improve his race craft? And more in depth on Mike in general, as far as his goals
Also tell us some of the technical things, Mike seems to run well on the inside of most tracks. Is it power, suspension or setup?
I would like to hear in a podcast a little about the team and there connection to Mike!? Ally Jim art Brian etc
I get the feeling they are related…
Poor mike...n his wife prob wasnt even there....lol
When is a little Mike or little Mandy being thought bout being made
I'd thank Matt Sheppard, too. 👍🏻
