@@davestephens6421 Dave in paignton we have a steam railway you can actually get up close to the train and ride on it goes down to Kingswear, totnes have one that goes to Staverton and the station at Staverton is a period station big wooden manual gates. Signs etc they have done a fantastic job preserving it. Like stepping back into the 50s

Lovely steam train, i wonder if hes heading to the steam railway at paignton, another few weeks the train of lights should be back for xmas period. Very beutiful when they light the steam train up from paignton to kingswear. That train that passed through teignmouth was going at a lick bill
@BillsPhoneTeignmouth time to invest in a kelly kettle bill at least you and mum can have cups of tea and hydrated meals if it was a constant scenario. Trouble is once the neighbours find out you had one they will all be at the door 😆
Hopefully, it was just a one off - As in stuff goes wrong sometimes - But with all the new houses they are building etc, and the push for electric cars etc, hopefully we are not getting overloaded??? 👍👍👍
Power cuts eh😉, reminds me of 'the good old days' in the 1970s 😂. Every generation has a 'you don't know you're born' story to tell the 'kids of today'; most of these stories *should* be told, not to rub their snotty little noses in their modern day comforts, but to hopefully encourage them not to contribute to the same causes of those hardships.
