Seinen "Escualo" (Haifisch) komponierte Astor Piazzolla als Herausforderung für den Violinisten Fernando Suarez Paz. Tatsächlich ist die Violine das Hauptinstrument dieses Stückes. Technik, Präzision und Kraft des Instruments sollen die Kraft eines Haifischs widerspiegeln. Salut Salon spielten den "Escualo" in ihrem Jubiläumsprogramm "Dichtung und Wahrheit".
His "Escualo" (shark) composer Astor Piazzolla wrote as a challenge for the violin virtuoso Fernando Suarez Paz. In fact the violin is the leading instrument in this piece. Technique, accuracy and power imaginate the energy of a shark. Salut Salon perform "Escualo" in their jubilee programm "Poetry and Truth".
