BACK to BACH (ch: John Clifford with Fundatia Simona Noja)

Fundatia Simona Noja-Nebyla STAGE Education, Vienna, filmed my 1985 Bach ballet in March of 2021as part of their Zoom outreach program. This was the first ballet I made for the dance dept. of Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. I eventually made 4-5 more (can't remember all of them). In making ballets for students I keep in mind the training aspects. In other words I try to develop their techniques as well as making something entertaining.

Haha this was the music at my first ballet recital! I was NOT a good dancer at 9. Only later did I bloom. I appreciate this choreography. The leaps here are so floaty.
