Remembering The Batmaker, John Gasson

Everyone at Gray-Nicolls was shocked and saddened by the passing of our legendary bat maker John Gasson at the end of August.
John had worked at Gray-Nicolls for 60 years, and still worked part-time for the company in Robertsbridge up until his death.
He will be missed greatly by the employees at Gray-Nicolls, who enjoyed hearing John's legendary stories over a cup of tea in the workshop.
This is a previously unseen interview with John and fellow bat makers Alex and Chris from 2015, in which John explains howl he came to join the company and more.
