  • Everyone at Gray-Nicolls was shocked and saddened by the passing of our legendary bat maker John Gasson at the end of August.
John had worked at Gray-Nicolls for 60 years, and still worked part-time for the company in Robertsbridge up until his death.
He will be missed greatly by the employees at Gray-Nicolls, who enjoyed hearing John's legendary stories over a cup of tea in the workshop.
This is a previously unseen interview with John and fellow bat makers Alex and Chris from 2015, in which John explains howl he came to join the company and more.
    Rest in peace, John.

RIP John Gasson, the bats you made, scored more than millions of runs.
