    Dane here, 43 years old... i was born in Skagen, grew up in Århus, and now live in Esbjerg, have never had a car, and dont even have a drivers license...

      well, fair enough 😊 I didn't say or mean that it's impossible to live that way, I believe, it would be much easier to stay flexible if you have a car, while living in Jutland. + Århus and Esbjerg are in top 7 biggest cities in Denmark, so ofc, they do have a well developed infrastructure 👻

      @@dannydelvis top 5 ♥ Århus is 2nd and Esbjerg 5th... what Denmark, and many other European countries, have going for them, is a VERY good public transport infrastructure, like u said, but also, Denmark + the Netherlands, has very good BIKE infrastructure too...

    I'm trying to move to Copenhagen & the algorithm flew me to your channel, amazing video! Although it still feels impossible for me to move there. I'm trying to learn the language before visiting but throughout my whole country, they do not teach Danish no were here, I'm stuck with Duolingo. During future interviews, I'm gonna answer them THE SKY IS BLUE, AND THE GIRL IS HAPPY.

    • @dannydelvis
      @dannydelvis  3 місяці тому +1

      I feel u, it's really difficult to learn any language especially if you're not surrounded by it. Knowing danish is an advantage ofc, but as soon as you speak English, you can already get an access to the job market here, so maybe you can rather focus on your hard skills and career/job itself and think about danish a bit later. meanwhile you can still keep learning danish through Duolingo and as soon as you move here, just sign up for a danish school, than you will boost your danish 10x faster. and the fact that you know how to say 'the sky is blue and the girl is happy' will be still impressive for Danes. You can't imagine the number of people, who live here for decades and don't even know some basic words or expressions.

      @@dannydelvis hello. I am going to move denmark this year. Please let me know about the Apartment space, don't have any idea how much minimum space i will need to book an apartment for me, my husband and one kid? Would it be 40m² for we three of us to get CPR?

    Stumbled upon your channel 3 days ago, and I'm so grateful for these videos! I was born and raised in DK, but my girlfriend from the Caribbean is planning to move here, so it's awesome to get your perspective, when you too came from a non-EU country. Keep up the great work!

      1000tak for dine søde ord! jeg sætter stor pris på dem ☺️ der kommer jo nogle udfordringer, når man er udlænding, men jeg ved godt, at hvis man har lyst til at integrere sig i samfundet og lære et sprog, så bliver det ret nemmere at tilpasse sig i et nyt land 👻👻 held og lykke til jer to 🌟😊

      Det er absolut rigtigt! Min bror giftede sig med en brasiliansk kvinde for 16 år siden, og de har boet sammen i Danmark nu i 15 år, og hun siger nøjagtigt det samme - Alting blev 10 gange lettere for hende, da hun endelig følte at hun kunne snakke og forstå dansk i sin dagligdag. Og tak for held og lykke-ønskningen 😊

    Hi Danny! Love this video 🌶 I'm going to move to Denmark in July, and I just got braces in my home country four months ago. My teeth are actually fine, but I just want to look better with a nicer smile hehe.
    Do you think Danish dentists would be willing to continue my treatment without starting from scratch? Do you have any advice?

    • @dannydelvis
      @dannydelvis  4 місяці тому +1

      Hey there! 😊 Thank you so much 🌟 I feel you with the braces, hehe 😄 The best thing that you can do is to ask directly danish doctors (just write an email or call to them), however, through my experience even back to Russia there were not that many dentists or orthodontists, who would be willing to continue the treatment of another doctor, so I believe the same story is going to be here. Is it still an option to visit your doctor back in your home country once per month?
      I was studying with a girl from Turkey and she was traveling to Turkey time to time to fix her braces, so maybe it is a good idea. I have also read some stories that people were looking for specialists here in Denmark to continue their treatment but I have no idea whether they have succeeded to find someone here or not.
      Try to contact some clinics here in Denmark, maybe there will be someone who would help you with your treatment. Good luck 😉 🍀 and welcome to Denmark 🇩🇰

      @@dannydelvis other than that the price is crazy in Denmark 😭 the reason why I get in my home country (Indonesia 🇮🇩) because the price is even cheaper here (I did my research before 😂) but unfortunately I can’t going to my home country from time to time to do braces control like your friend 😭😭😭
      Good thing is I don’t have to control it each month, I’m using braces that can be control each 3 months.
      I’d like to try to find them as your suggestion! Thanks Danny!
      And one more thing that I want to add for those girls who is watched this video: consider about your feminime hygine as well (brazilian removal, under arms removal, dermagologist) because in Denmark it’s so expensive 😭😭😭

      Hi Kristinar, as a Dane i would give you the exact same answer Danny gave you. Try calling some dentists here & ask. But even if you do have papers or can explain what you have had done/fixed with your teeth, they probably still wanna do a standard check up on you, before proceeding with anything. Just to make sure things are done properly moving forward, as well as making sure everything is in order, from what you already have had fixed in your own country, since standards as well as dentists work can vary. As far as i know that is just common practice ). Hope you enjoy your stay here. All the best from CPH, Denmark...

    Danny, some ppl go to like Turkey or something for dental work. Can cut prices in half more or less.

    • @dannydelvis
      @dannydelvis  4 місяці тому

      Oh, yeah, that’s for sure. In my case it was kinda emergency, and I couldn’t travel due to my busy schedule. But I know that there are some agencies that provide dental care trips to Poland or Hungary, so people get their teeth done, while living in the hotel and visiting some places in the city or town, they are staying in. That’s crazy 😝

    Are jobs easily available in other cities if we come to other city of denmark rather than copenhagen?

    • @dannydelvis
      @dannydelvis  3 місяці тому

      depends on the city, because there are still English speaking jobs in Aarhus or Aalborg or Odense, but I would say, that job opportunities are really limited, comparing to Cph. as a rule, no, there are just few jobs in Jutland or Odense and the vast majority of them are in Copenhagen + the chances to get a job with no danish outside of Copenhagen are not that high in general. you can check it yourself on Jobnet or Jobindex, so you will see how many jobs are available on the market and how many of them are in Copenhagen. Good luck 🍀 😉
