Thanks so much, Jazzy! I'm trying. I had a phone screening with First Advantage and a video interview with Carnival a couple of weeks ago. Didn't get selected to move on for Carnival (which I thought I didn't do bad with the questions) and didn't have enough experience with a certain system for FA. The recruiting manager was so nice and transparent at FA, gave me info for another position, and told me to keep in contact if I see another position of interest come up. Trying to remain hopeful but I felt so defeated after that. Thank you for inspiring me to keep going and trying 💜

@StJames1938 in some ways I do find the tests beneficial. Some of the assessments give me a better understanding of the position while others throw me for a loop. lol I just try my best and take them. 🤷🏾♀️

I agree completely. I have been a stay-at-home auntie for over 20 years and did not know how to translate that into a job title. I was also a substitute teacher and paraprofessional and felt that since I didn't have degree I couldn't really get a good paying job. This has given me my motivation back, because I have been out of work for over a year.

Girl, Part 2 Boo! I have worked from home with Humana and now Molina doing case management services, navigating members to different departments, and providing resources. I done treatment groups under teaching, education, and informal counseling. I’m I thinking about my investigating people frauding others on social media and how my skills led me to report someone to the gov't and this was an ongoing case!!! I'm trying to stay in good spirits and I really love hearing about people getting jobs! I have 12 yrs exp working as an occupational therapist with an associate's degree in various medical settings. I have fine tuned my resume and I got rejection letters from all 5 positions I applied for at United Healthcare saying I don't have qualifications and they are going with someone with more experience. It is really hard to switch from direct healthcare to work from home. I am applying to lots of jobs and trying to keep in good spirits.

HI Jazzy. I love how you are explaining how our skills are transferable. I do have a request, I have been a 911 dispatcher for over 10 years and whenever I apply for jobs (call center, service rep, customer service, etc.) Ive gotten the response that I am not qualified. It baffles me because those things are exactly my job in a more high level urgency type of way. I can triage calls, deescalate a situation, solve a crime, catch a criminal, and everything else literally at the same time. So I think that I am not properly translating my skill sets. Can you touch on how dispatchers can properly showcase our skill sets in a way that is marketable. I appreciate you.

Yes please make a part 2! Especially for the last category, I was laid off from my first ever corporate job straight out of college when Covid happened so I turned to selling in fb groups and have continued to do that for the last 3 years (also admin and mod a couple of groups) but had NO idea I could turn that into a corporate role anywhere and I would LOVE to get back to the corporate world ASAP!

@@JazzyMac it’s Blue Criss Blue Shield of TN and I start August 8th and it’s remote AND they provide the equipment and the internet!!! 🙌🏽 but no THANK YOU for all of these gems! You literally do all the hard work! I was able to create 2 solid resumes for different skills finance and customer service and just change a few words in the corporate cover letter template to be specific to whatever the position is and BOOM! I was discouraged at first but honestly it took a month and I’m getting called EVERY WEEK!!!!! Y’all go cop the resume kit NOW! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽

i tried amazon driver i tried so many labor job and had 2 jobs before many times but to have a job at home wer i can just eat and sit down and work for hours without car problems is a dream. thanks for the vid i was struggling so hard to find wfh . all i could find was sales life insurance and house sales but thats hybrid. life is tough the second job not having to b far would b amazing. i just want to work 14 hours a day again.

Hi, for the Amazon Job , they want you to to have some Linux knowledge , their servers runs on Linux so it makes sense, but I guess they can teach you or help you get a certification, is not that hard , it just practice and get used to. 🔥
Yep! I never took classes on it but I watched a bunch of CLI videos on UA-cam and gained most of my knowledge from otj training 😀
