Be'lakor is the liquor in the unmarked glass jar at your grandpas house
Their newest song, Foothold, is in my honest opinion the greatest melodeath song ever created. I have listened to it on repeat non stop for a week and it doesn't get old, and only gets better. This band legitimately changed my life. It's nice to see them finally getting some more recognition for their talent. What sets them apart from other bands for me is both the lyrical content and structure of their songs. They tell well structured, cohesive stories with both the lyrics and composition.
I dance to that song in my kitchen
Love this reaction! Just love to see other people praise this amazing band!! Been listening to Be'lakor since 2010 a year aftor Stone's Reach came out and i fell in love! Held in Hollow's from that album had been my all time favorite song from then, but now with Hidden Window…. I just love this song so much!! The slight changes in the guitarwork thoughout the song just keeps me addicted. And 5:37 gives me goosebumbs even now after my 100th listen! Be'lakor is and will forever be melodeath legends! Their passion for music shows in the sound and quality. And im so happy to enjoy it in my lifetime! 🤘🔥
Dive into An Embers Arc. It begins the story that ends with the smoke of many fires.
Great review
It's unbelievable to me how underrated this band is ... this two songs from the new album are amazing, and all their previous albums are amazing too.
I would recommend Countless Skies, Sun's Delusion, Neither Shape or Shadow ... just to mention a few because all of their songs are great
This guy's and Insomnium are my two new fav bands right now. Totally agree with u The smoke of many fires. This one and Foothold are awsome can't wait to get this album and Vessels in my hands. The transitions are soo smooth and go well together. The song is all about greed from what I gather in the lyrics. How we kill for petty things.
I love Be’lakor too I think you will like (LOCUS) it’s dark intro is 🤘.
You should really listen to another great AUS melodic band NEOBLIVISCARIS 6 piece with an awesome violin player which can sound really dark and emotional (Devour me colossus black holes)
This is just perfect melodeath song!
great band i randomly found be lakor in 2010 on youtube i love the thantifaxath t shirt as well great canadian black metal band heard thantifaxath once in 2014
Fraught, Neither Shape Nor Shadow and WIthering Strands are other great Be'lakor songs you should check out.
Lol, part of the break down of the lyrics afterwards (22:41) might as well have been about Foothold!😅🤘
There's a MFing *reason* this is my favorite band.
Sick hat Blake 🤘🤘
Check out Locus off of this album next. Its so fucking good. I have been listening to Be'lakor for a while, and I have to say this album is some of their best work... Just flawless from start to finish (just like everything else they do, lol). Not to mention the production quality, just amazing.
Locus and much more was lost are absolute masterpieces.
I swear any established genre, Australian bands find a way to improve upon it. From Rap to metal, from rock to blues. I have no idea how or why, but it happens.
You should check out the song Foothold by them. And if you like this band you will appreciate Omnium Gatherum.
You may enjoy tomorrow's reaction then!
You should check out "Shroud", by The Breathing Process.
🔥🤩🤘
Foothold was a good song too, similar type of message as this song. If you want great older Be'lakor songs to react to then both 'Countless Skies' and 'In Parting' are good choices. Long and thoughtful review, I enjoyed what you had to say.
Abeyance and Venator as well.
