Little tip against Russian MBTs, right below their cannon is the drivers hatch. Not armored. Nice weakpoint if you have the time
I find it more efficient to just shoot the lower front plate cause most Russian players don't go hull down
The contrails are much more visible on the snowy maps compared to the ones in the desert for example.
The air density you're talking about is absolutely a thing that affects aircraft and helicopter operations, and has been responsible for a number of accidents. It's usually referred to as density altitude. i.e. the ambient air being experienced is equivalent to the air density at a certain altitude under ISO standard conditions. Less dense air means you're aerofoils don't generate as much lift, so in a helicopter you would have to pull more collective, or in a fixed wing, you'd have to fly faster to compensate. It will also effect engine performance, depending on what the engine was designed for.
With all that said, I wouldn't expect you to need more collective in snowy conditions. Temperature has a big effect on air density, and cold temperatures lead to lower air densities, so I'd expect better performance in snowy conditions. Of course, the altitude of the ground above sea level will also have a significant effect. If you're takeoff point if 8000ft above sea level, even if it's colder, you may well be worse off than a warm day at sea level.
higher air densities=cold. think about it, the less the molecules are moving around, the more dense it is.
@@jedimasternoob that's exactly what I said. The point I was making is that contradicts with needing more collective in the cold. Lower temp=higher air density=better lift generation from areofoils=less collective required
Rocket helicopters above 8.7 have to fight such an uphill battle. Reasons include:
-ERA & Composite Armor
-HE-VT and IRST
-Autocannons
-SAMs
-Suicide drones.
Yes, weather affects helicopters a lot, so snow maps affect lift.
My recommendation, if you want to use the little bird, bring the AH-1F also, and if you get a large or open map, use the AH-1F instead, but if you get an urban map, like sun city, bring the little bird.
I'll have to give that heli a look then. I'm still really new to helis but they're really fun so far
As for the little bird, yeah, I think you're conclusions aren't exactly surprising. I mean, the helicopter is really not meant to be fighting heavy armour. Sure it can take hellfire's in a pinch, but realistically, it's designed to go against infantry and light armour technicals, not MBTs and such.

If not, foxhole is a game with persistent world warfare, meaning that one war can go on for quite a long time(one lasted ~55 irl days) where everything is player made: vehicles ,guns, bunkers, factories.
Players can take part in:
-logistic
-infantry
-armor warfare(gunner, driver, commander,engineer, ect)
-artylery
-naval operations
If interested.... see ya on the battlefield, be it colonial or warden

Air density is modeled, and affects shell trajectory and aircraft performance, so it is a real thing.
The chains don’t do anything and I’d imagine there’s a atmosphere different on different maps as shells have different trajectory’s
i would most def say the scouting is bugged, no reason when staring straight down an enemy barrel the scout should not work

Hey Panzer, it's better to use Manual Roll in War Thunder on heli flight time since the mouse controls will make you miss pretty easily, especially with fixed guns/dummy rockets. You have to set it up on a keyboard button in Controls menu before, though.
I’m pretty sure the temp thing does matter. Engines overheat quicker in air rb on maps like Spain and Sinai.

The more modern helicopters have a ballistic computer for aiming rockets. Line the target up with the x in the I shaped crosshair. Making it fairly easily to use. Would be nice to see your take on the AH 64D Apache

Finally a proper war thunder content maker...no bull shit videos on stock tanks getting 20 kills per game just because they left out that their crews are maxed out....keep the videos coming mate.
Last few weeks I've played a lot with light tanks and I'm sure that the scouting is broken.. I have multiple matches a day where I'm aiming dead center of clearly visible (and live) tank and it says: "CeNtEr ThE cRoSsHaIR oN tHe TaRgEt To ScOuT" I don't remember it being THIS buggy when I last played light tanks more often (about a year ago maybe😅)
The snow tires are purely cosmetic
turbulance is a thing in WT so Temperature of the air maybe in the game.

Why is Russia so OP in this game?
I wouldn't say they are. Some of their vehicles and aircraft seem to have exaggerated abilities to an extent but skill still matters and everything can be knocked out easily if played badly
@@PanzerPaw you were a German tanker in real life right? Do you feel Warthunder accurately recreated the leopard? Or is it lacking in firepower, armor, and reloading characteristics?
@@M1A2_Abrams_MBT Leopard 2 commander, not German tho. But without going into specifics, I'd say it's reasonably well modeled. I talked about it in my first War Thunder video in more detail if you want to know more :)
Sorry but every UA-camr does this... They are just "AGMs" there is no T. The whole point of an acronym is to be short... They are even listed in the hud, on screen, as "AGM". Lol🤦
