I was suprised with the disrespect you showed towards Trae Young. Luka has never take his team to the conference championship. He plays with with Irving, so he does not have to carry the load that Trae does. Trae most underrated player in the league. 25 ppg and 10.8 apg. Put some respect on his name.
@@clintdiaz5604 Young might be the biggest defensive liability in the league. When Luka takes defense seriously like these playoffs he can be elite
The Kyrie-Thomas trade is so weird because on paper the cavs lost it, easily. But when you look at what actually happened the cavs went further next season, acquired better role players by trading the ones they got from the Celtics, and drafted Sexton with the pick, who was the centerpiece of the Donovan Mitchell trade. If Mitchell stay in Cleveland the cavs played their cards very well.
As a raptors fan.The kawhi trade is the best trade oat
^
For you guys anyways you got a championship the dirk trade and the Luka trade are the exact same so hopefully we get a ring (another ring I should say)
They were still good after but him getting the chip which they never won is huge even tho he left
Yep @@spidamitchell8311
@@spidamitchell8311 yep. We would've had 2 if he hadnt left. But im optimistic of our future with scottie
Nets set themselves back only to set themselves back again 10 years later
^^
FACTS my nets either got it right or totally fuck shit up 😂😂😂
@@Bsfnelz20they've never gotten anything right lol
Nets aren’t in as deep of a hole now thanks to having draft picks but yeah
@@yankees2864 that is true, they do have Phoenix’s picks
For the record Kawhi forced his way out because Uncle Dennis convinced him he should be in LA. The injury disagreement was an excuse.
Right? Was shady af. Guess he got what he wanted but definitely a diva move. He’s lucky he landed on a great team in the interim, imagine he’d not won a ring then moved to LA immediately after…. He’d be a villain. But thankfully he’s an MVP caliber player and can back it up lol
Facts… as a spurs fan I just got over it last summer when we got the Demi god
Kyries first take interview was the most bizarre attempt at damage control I've ever seen.
Kyrie's unintentionally amusing to watch there. Openly admitting that he doesn't care what his former team thinks of him wanting a trade & rejecting any want of Bron being on the Cavs 💀
that shit is insane i can't believe he just sat there like "no 😊"
Do you think it was damage control or he was just being genuine and honest. I know, it's so rare these days it's almost incomprehensible to your average fan.
@@Gottiline_Acehe went on first take when he didn't have to and gave us a bs excuse for why he left when we all know lebron was the reason. He was getting a lot of flack for the trade request so he went there to try and save face. The funny part about the whole interview tho was how he tried to come off as mature and smarter then everyone else.
@canismkit666 can't knock him for not liking LeBron, cause he is very unlikable. He just didn't want his accomplishments to be overshadowed by "but you were with LeBron.". When the fact is, without Wade&Bosch, Irving& Love, that dude would have 1 or maybe 2 rings at most.
God, that Luka trade is so crazy in retrospect. I honestly chalk it up to Luka being European though. But with them dominating the league more, that sentiment has changed.
Even though Euro’s were being drafted with top picks 15-20 years ago, it’s just different now.
We have to remember, at the time almost every Euro players were either a bust or don’t play good enough,The last time a Euro player got drafted at top picks they were all bust,I get why the Hawks did that but still They didn’t even look at his accomplishments there at all, like bro won EVERYTHING outside the NBA at 18. So there’s gotta add something to that.
The Celtics make moves that the fans can't understand sometimes. But Danny has proven he is an elite GM on top of an elite, underrated player in his day!
You know he’s not the gm anymore right?
Brad Steven’s has been a better gm. Danny Ainge valued his picks to much.
MAN somebody needs to do a retrospective on that Late 2000s New Jersey Nets team.
Those guys were HORRIBLE around that time. Like their starters were players like Josh Boone and Chris Douglas-Roberts 😭😭.
It was definitely a time in history haha. I've been looking into doing a retrospective on some teams, I think you should see some of the videos before the summer
You mean people nobody knew 😂
Yo 😂😂😂
Danny Ainge is one of a kind when its come to having vision on talent the way he drafted Jaylen and Jayson without them being the clear the choice and trading down because they were still able to draft is phenomenal
The one thing you do have to note with regards to the Jimmy trade was that the timberwolves turned Robert Covington into Malik Beasley and Jared Vanderbilt and Juancho Hernangomez which got the wolves Pat Bev, and in turn all those 3 players (Beasley, Vanderbilt, Beverley) into Rudy Gobert and has turned Minnesota into the best defensive team this year, I'm sure they're just fine with that.
As a die hard raptors fan that lives in San Antonio, you know my favorite trade. Now spurs have the most exciting prospect in decades and the raptors finally got a championship.
You are setup as a fan lollll. Toronto went crazy after that win! And Spurs are looking to build another dynasty
Tbh, the Kawhi trade wasn't that crazy. He told the Spurs he was leaving after his contract, and Toronto also knew that he was only going to stay there 1 year. So everyone already knew what was happening
Luka for Trae. Dallas winning so far
^^
😂Luka and Trae's early careers are both riddled with crappy pieces., luka has some decent surrounds now, trae might get some maybe after 2 seasons . But the trade was a win win, doe Atlanta doesn't seem to see how to add or what to add to their roster.
@@LateOctoberexactly, if Luka was drafted by the Hawks they wouldnt have been able to surround him w the right pieces either
Atlantas been to the conference finals and nearly won since trae. Dallas hasnt
@@Noooo7156 Dallas made it in 2022 to the conference finals

You got it!
That Celtics/Nets trade gave Boston Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and helped facilitate Boston trading for Kyrie.
Yuppppp
Damn Stackhouse! That’s dope 👏🏽
right!
1:55 timestamp for myself to return to; mans lowkey killed that melody (pun intended) 🎵
Nice video, however as a cavs fan I feel like you should’ve mentioned Collin sexton was eventually traded for Mitchell. Seeing how that was the only saving grace for me as a fan seeing Kyrie leave lol.
Love your channel awesome content thank you!
Looking back, Kyrie on the Celtics was such a fever dream
Great video as always! Thank you for your work! Still enjoying your videos a lot :)))
Happy to hear that!
Philly was not gonna win that game if it went into overtime. I like Jimmy, but he can disappear in big moments too. Embiid and simmons have already proved that before he got there. Plus, the Thunder lost that series 4-1. I wouldn't say that was a good fight lol. They should have kept them together for sure.
Keep making this content brother! Your videos are amazing. Could you do a video on the Phoenix Suns and what could of happen if Boris Diaw and Amar'e did get ejected in that historic playoff run, or just about Steve Nash's run with the Suns in the 00s.
Good stuff!! You didn’t leave any details out. Well done! 🙏🏼
Glad you liked it!
@@LockdownK I’ve been on a marathon of all the draft recaps. It had me looking up all kinds of players I had forgotten about.

One love, Welcome
With the Kyrie-IT trade, I don't think that was a bad trade for either side. IT was injured and would barely be able to play the next year, so Boston lucked out on that. Kyrie was refusing to come to practice for the Cavs, so Cleveland lucked out. Both teams ended up winning by unloading a player that would have been a net zero for them next season. The biggest loss to Boston was that Brooklyn pick, but honestly if we had drafted with that pick we probably would not have had the cap space to land KP and Jrue this past offseason, so ultimately it sort of worked out. No one could have foreseen the Kyrie weirdness that followed, nor predicted that there would be such a bad personality clash between the younger guys and Kyrie/Gordon.
Not to mention the Gordon Hayward leg injury his first game.
No what makes it worse about the pippen trade is when mj said he’ll leave if they trade for tmac. But mj ended up leaving anyways 😂
lolll
the jae crowder pic gets me everytime
Ky is so unbother. Love it
As a rocket fan, I was so fucking pissed that the Timberwolves traded him to the 76ers, when I found out the Rockets offered like for first round picks 😂
Spurs still have picks pending from trading Poeltl and DeRozan. #8 pick this year and Chicago’s #1 pick next year. And Keldon Johnson (18 ppg) over the last 3 yrs.
Butler....one of the many guys these days who become such a cancer to the locker room they have to be traded. I personally can't stand any of them.
i'm diggin the way you cover hoops dude!
glad you like it!
2018 draft deserves a closer look due to the fashion choices of the picks.
Where do you get your nba clips from? Great content man
UA-cam!
James Harden in my humble opinion was the better player at OKC than at Houston. In Houston his flaws were shone everywhere. The Rockets tried Dwight Howard, CP3, Russell Westbrook, and John Wall but resulted in no championships and couldn’t get passed GSW, the system was Al around Harden but he eventually left them for Brooklyn to join Kyrie and KD, till right now he’s not same player as he was in Houston. Even though he did win only 1 Kia MVP unanimously, but he choked in the playoffs and was not there when his team needed him the most. at OKC he was the 6th Man of the Year, went to a championship even though they eventually lost to the LeBron, DWade, and CBosh led Miami Heat. because of KD and Russ, his play was hidden, and he wasn’t the system, the OKC Thunder was the system. Even though he never won a MVP and was mostly scoring from off the bench, he was the glue that held that OKC team together, if it wasn’t for Harden, OKC would never have a team like they had back then and now. Just look at Embiid’s The Process in Phili, yah they were way worse and a dumpster fire compared to the Harden system in Houston.
You might want to add the PG trade to the Clippers for picks and a player known as SGA to the Thunder setting up the next dynasty.
was that a "bad" trade though, idk i'd say it was a fair trade
@@LockdownK Might want to start adding that trade right now. :D
@@LockdownKShia> George plus okc got 5 first rounds
that Kawhi trade to the raptors was great and immediately won the chip then left right after 😂
When I need a lil NBA fix, you'll find me here.
To this day I am really sad that the king's got rid of isaiah thomas. Dude what's the definition of entertainment on the court electric.
thank Cavs owner and mark cuban crying for the cp3 trade being declined, they both personally whined to stern that it'd be unfair for smaller market teams if they paired up which is the LA clippers really much smaller of a market if they in the same damn city? It was honestly the most uncompetitive shit I ever heard like bro you had born and the other had dirk tf?
One thing you missed that made it even worse for the T-wolves in the butler trade was the denied a trade from Houston that was 4 first round draft picks
cavs got donovan mitchell due to the kyrie trade. they traded sexton who was the 1st round pick they got from the celtics for mitchell
Nah that lakers gasol trade was fucking shameful. The grizzlies literally gave Pau to the lakers
Jimmy butler sitting out the all star game was actually really selfish, if youre not going to play give the spot to someone who will entertain the fans who pay to see you. Weird revisionist history to call him "so dedicated to his team"
Can’t believe the thunder drafted 3 future mvps in 3 straight years…
As a Magic fan I hated trading Oladipo for Ibaka which was clearly on the demise.
And the thunder getting sabonis with that trade as well and him becoming a star with the pacers is also huge
My suggestion for the all star game, make it east vs west again and the winning conference gets the 4 home games in the finals
interesting!
Just subbed
ATL did this trade just to sell tickets. They based the trade off race and they thought Trey could be like Steph but that’s dumb lol
look who lost now lol
Kawhi's corner 3 was one of the worst clutch shots I've ever seen. It was so lucky and honestly, that raptors team probably gets to the finals and wins without him if they keep DeRozan because the raptors did not beat the Golden State warriors really, the Golden State warriors was hurt so they was mainly playing against their bench that was one of the worst finals I've ever watched
You’re so angry 🤣 🏆 🦖
I always wondered if the raptors would of won that year without the trade with LeBron gone. They probably would of. Warriors all got injured. N they always were one step away, just had LeBron to deal with.
The world will never know!
Thx for reminding me that my team traded zach lavine, lauri markkanen, and kris dunn for jarrett culver, and malik beasley after everything settled
welcome haha
I would say the Spurs won that trade... If the trade had not happened, Leonard would have walked away (or wheeled away). Had that happen, The Spurs wouldn't have gotten anything in return... It was a win-win situation where both teams got something out of it... Ultimately Leonard left Toronto high and dry as well after his contract was over... One & Done!
Poor Justin Patton lol
^
AD looks like a mature grown man now but his body still breaks down like he is that nerd looking dude on draft night for real
The front office of the Celtics finesse the f out of the Brooklyn owner
Frrrrrrr
I doubt things happen the way wyc says “oh yeah I told Ainge 3 times to go back and ask for another 1st and it worked every time” I call BS
6:43😂😂
IMO I think one of the reason why Luka didn't go number 1 is that because teams fear the he might just be another Ricky Rubio. Ricky has been solid his entire NBA career but he didn't turn out to be that generational talent and they (NBA GM's) feared the same thing with Luka
How wrong were they? WRONG!!!
2:35 Ainge did this later, twice in one offseason w Gobert & Mitchell
Bruh looks like Micah Parsons
The Luka and Trae trade isn’t a bad trade the hawks used the picks to build a good young core and got their franchise player who has already led them deep into the playoffs is Luka better? Yes but the picks and trae make it a win win for both
Ben Simmons … that was a fluke …
Raptors spurs win win kawhi was leaving San Antonio regardless and the spurs got derozan instead of nothin 🤷🏾♂️
15:56 ah yes the travel the refs didn't call...
I’m a Celtics fan, and arguing that they got Derrick White as part of the Nets trade because Romeo Langford was in it is a baaad take.
As a Kings fan. Please do more research. Vlade wasn’t the GM for those first two picks you said he made. Secondly the Kings didn’t draft Luka because they feared his fit with Fox and wanted a new big to replace Boogie.
16:45 loool
The IT Kyrie trade was terrible not bc of the value in the trade, but that Cleveland just folded when Kyrie got in his feelings and gave up a real chance to compete w/ GS. A better alternative imo woulda always been for Kyrie to stay on the Cavs and dare him to sit out or pout. Then after that season w/ his deal expiring id have revisited the trade possibilities.
Good miniature, Luka in 2010, 10 years. Good trade.
Brooklyn Nets will forever by haunted by that 2013 trade, they might string a good season but it will all crumble very next season, they should never moved from NJ in New york they will never be a the main team.
They had a chance. They just fumbled it. Knicks on top now. Ppl always complain for a bias reason. Like me being from Rochester NY I could either love or hate the Sacramento kings for the same reason .. so I understand nj ppl always hating. i guess, crossing the water is too much to ask for too much work for them 😂
Eating lunch type of video
eating my midnight snack watching this 😭
Eating my morning snack re watching this 😂
2018 draft, the Warriors wasted their pick on Jacob Evans.
If Jimmy Butler had stayed…
what if!
2011/12 George Hill for Kawhi was bad for Indiana Pacers
2018/19 DeMar DeRozen for Kawhi was a bad trade for Spurs
No the demar trade it helped them rebuild and they got jakob poetl who they traded back to the raptors for a load of picks
It was less of a "trade" and more of a hostage negotiation. Dude tanked his trade value by publicly leaking he wanted out, then tanked it even more when he said he wouldn't re-sign with whoever would trade for him if it wasn't either of the 2 Los Angeles teams. Dude wanted to go home to LA and was looking for a scapegoat to get out of SA
The Kawhi trade is still unfolding in the form of Keldon Johnson, Malaki Branham, and the first from Toronto and one from Chicago.
Celtics are ruthless in trades, you will never outsmart them, there are teams in Nba that always pull power move and other seem like feeders
🤣 yeeeeea okay
Kawhi trade was good tho raps got everything they wanted
In retrospect it's actually crazy to think that one player change their entire franchises history, in a single year
Twolves butler deal was not a big L. Traded covington for pick that got us rubio back and Mcdaniels
How do you only have 25.2k subs?! Your vids are so good😂
Thank you so much!!
The Paul pierce and Kevin Garnett is not the worst trade because the Celtics got Jaylen brown and Jayson tatum
Might be biased but twolves D- 76ers B+ twolves got something for someone who was gonna walk and downgrade for 76ers cause signed Tobias and let him walk
Do a sequel
Lol Kyrie wanted out if Cleveland after he led them to nothing before LeBron came back.
after the trades the celtics made this year panning out the way they did, i think it’s safe to say the celtics are the most successful team in trades for the last decade
In fairness Irving didn't "choose" not to play some games
Honestly forgot Kyrie was on the Celtics 😂
A time in history haha
As a warriors fan raptor fan shutup

Chris Paul sunk the Warriors.
What about the clippers trading a pick that became kyrie Irving for mo williams
Brooklyn Nets 3️⃣ times tried doing a Super Team and as always FAILED MISERABLY 😅😅😅😅
What about SHAI
Remove the injury from kawhi he’d still be dangerous
the kawhi derozan trade was not bad at all it was actually a good trade. the spurs just didnt have tony parker, manu or tim duncan anymore, they lost their big three they won all the chips with. obviously they werent gonna be good anymore that doesnt mean it was a bad trade, toronto just made more out of it
And they needed to trade kawhi
honestly they got a good hall for a guy that was going to leave for nothing and they traded him literally the farthest place, they could’ve traded him instead of LA which he demanded and the Raptors also knew that there’s a good chance he was gonna leave in my opinion it’s a win-win
who knows about the ‘22 2nd rounder insta account tho lmao
So Rachel Nichols was at Jimmy's house to give that interview lol......and ya'll still think they weren't smashing in the NBA bubble in 2020 haha!
Trae Young for Doncic was awful, Americans love to over underrate international players
luka trae trade was very fair on both sides
Dang I thought the suns drafted mikal. That’s so dumb the 76ers traded down for Zhaire Smith 😂; mikal was perfect for the team.
His mom drafted him 😂 and traded she knew better 😂😂😂
