Hi everyone, I wanted to link where I bought my switches but they are no long available :c
I am so sorry, but I heard that akko rose switches are kinda like clones (but no promises)

As someone with a clackly, broken keyboard from 2010, I very much respect the dedication and time put into this (and also really want to steal everything the background bc its outrageously cute)
It's definitely time consuming and takes patience, but for me it's worth after hearing and feeling the outcome :D

Awesome video, I think switches like these are similar to akko so they're pretty difficult to open! lol and imagine opening 90pcs >.
luckily the kkt strawberries have cherry mx like housings. kailh housings are a pain to open, you're absolutely right!
just lubed my akko switches (my first time lubing switches ever) and oh my GOD were my fingers aching after 😭 glad to know it wasn’t just me who thought they were very difficult, lol
I was wondering why you need to lube them bcs i remembered ktt switches are pre lubed. Well manual lubing is better than factory lube tho
The vendor did not mention that they would come prelubed. I noticed the factory lube when I already opened all switches, so might as well correct some inconsistencies :D

where did you buy the switches i was gonna buy them from keebs for all but I want to make sure it comes with that tube thing that it came in because i wanna lube the stems the same way
Got them from aliexpress, I am not sure if they are legit or not (there is only one seller, who sells them there). Therefore I didn't post the link. I think you can buy those containers on aliexpress as well tho

Maybe I'm late to the party, but is it really recommended to re-lube them?. I wanna order 60 pieces of these for my friend's board because it's factory lubed, I know how to lube but my friend doesnt (and hes lazy af too even if I told him it's easy to lube switches).
I tried them stock and they were already really smooth and sound great stock! So you don't need to re-lube them. I just realized it after I opened them up that they already came pre-lubed, so might as well correct some inconsistency x) I can't remember hearing spring ping noise

Hi~ keep in mind that not only the switch alone determines how a mech keeb sounds. Case, foam, materials in general to name a few. But I think that lighter switches are usually higher pitched, which may contribute to that clack sound.

Very nice linear switches, bottom out is similar to Black inks. I still prefer the box inks though, the shorter bottom out is so nice and no interference with north facing LED's.
I have a black ink sample here and it is so damn smooth but they are a little bit to heavy for me. :( Also I didn't know that inks have not interference! That's really good to know!
@@ricecloud Black inks are quite heavy however Box inks are a little lighter i feel though still heavy. If you can get a sample of a box ink, i would give that a try. The Box Inks have a really really nice deep thoccy sound, you have to hear it and feel it to really see what i mean. Its the box inks that don't have interference, the regular inks do have some interference still so keep that in mind. If you like a really light linear switch maybe try Akko Jelly whites, they have a 35g bottom out and are linear too.

i know im really late, but ive been thinking about buying these switches and was wondering if interference would be an issue with a north facing board, so did it feel any different when testing it north faced or should i just buy a different profile keycap? (also this video was really well made and i dig the aesthetic)
i'm not 100% sure but i think the ktt strawberries have interferences with cherry profile keycaps. so using a different profile would help, or shove some paper into the keycaps stems

nowadays there are better options, you can look up: ktt halu halu v2, blueberry swirl, hmx swift (not very deep tho), moon v2, java

I've never seen someone "bag lube" the stems, just the spring. Does this make the keycaps get "lubeb" too? I mean, the top part of the stem will get lubeb as well
Yes that's right. You can clean of the top part of the stem after you put the switches back together. If you want to use them right after, you can just pop them on the board and then go over with a kitchen towel :D

I use them on a hot swap pcb, so no need to solder them :)

milk theme keycaps or honey and milk xda keycaps (this one has some yellow keycaps too), i just got the white ones (milk theme) from aliexpress :)

Are you a thock or clack person, and also when are you gonna do a face or voice reveal
I like both but if I have to chose one then I would lean more to thock. :) I actually done a voice over in my keycap comparison video. I am not sure if or when I will show my face. But I have a mini vlog on my tik tok where you can see me with a mask :)

It sounds good i have heard better stock from the ktt strawberry it depends on the keyboard so mine may sound alot deffirent beacuse i will have a higher end keyboard
