This is the best offroader, i saw on UA-cam
Thank you so much Pawel! I wish I could try it on tougher terrain somewhere, real fun to use 😀
Any bets that Games Workshop will be selling something very similar on Forge World by Christmas?
This is incredible! Man I love your weird but cool designs for these things, incredible, also I’ve gained an extreme amount of respect for you and when you build these things after building the sian, that was so hard to build and is insane how technical it is, and you do that with these, absolutely insane, also, you should put a sand thing for these to crawl over because I would like to see how these do, unless of course this is bad for the cars in some way I don’t know
Generally sand and anything man made never go well together. In my experience whether it’s a real car, RC, or LEGO. It would be cool I’m sure! But I can understand if he wants to not do sand cause it’s corse, rough and get everywhere. It’s like glitter
@@jerryorder9084 yeah, that’s the problem I was thinking, but I think maybe it would be worth it🤷♂️ idk, I think it could be cool
Hey Easton thank you so much! I do keep things a little more simple when it comes to build design than Lego! Their builds really impress me with how they come together!
I nearly got the soil back out for it to crawl over but we had a big rain storm and that ended that lol. It’s really good at crawling though, would be great in the woods! 😀
The most capable tracked lego vehicle I've seen, nice job.
Oh wow thank you very much I’m glad you like it! I think it’s my favourite build! Really robust 😀
Man, I just really enjoy waking up in the morning and getting to watch another machine in action. They never fail to amaze and this is no exception. I love the idea, and you've made it work so well! What a way to start the day
Oh wow thank you very much! I do love UA-cam vids before I get up! Never thought people would like mine 😀😀
That's the coolest tank thing I've ever seen!
Hey there thank you so much for the comment! I’m glad you like it 😀
When it went over the pillows that was quite satisfying
Hey Cheesy I’m glad you liked that! I just wish I had some more natural things to climb! I almost got the soil out again but it rained a lot the day before.
Gotta love the rhombus tanks
Hey there! Definitely and thank you for commenting 😀
Very nice! Also my favorite build so far.
Hey Ashen I’m glad you liked it! Cheers 😀
Its amazing cant wait for the tug of war video!!
Hey thank you very much! Me too, I think it will be close! Just not great on carpet though! 😀
Another impressive build!
Hey there! Thank you again I’m glad you liked it 😀
My man really went and built a bomb defusal robot 😂😂
Ok you are down right one of the coolest guys you make cool machines by just using Lego and that just amazes me
your creativity is mind boggling
Hey thank you very much! A few more weird ones to come 😀
Cool stuff more action than usual
Hey there thank you glad you like it😀
Cool 👍😃
Hey thank you so much appreciate it! 😀😀
Another great and unusual vehicle :)
Hey thank you so much! Appreciate it :)
I love this concept! So cool!
Hey thank you very much Noah 😀
really cool machine
Thank you very much 😀
Amazing design and amazing power and a superb idea dude
Hey there! Thanks as ever I appreciate it 😀
No mention my bro
Cool model 👏👏🤯🤯👍
Hey there thank you so much! Always appreciate your comments cheers 😀
"john, just because you made it all terrain doesnt mean you have to drive it over the plants"
😂😂
I now want to glue my two Space Marine Land Raiders back to back.
Haha why not lol 😀
Honey where the heck are the couch cushions at 😬🤣. Great build 👍🏼
Lol thank you as ever! I’ve been watching your videos the last few days! You have some amazing machines! Living my dream😀
You just got a new subscriber. That was really awesome to see.
Hey Adam thank you very much, I really appreciate it😀
That is amazing! I love it! :D
Hey there thank you so much for the comment 😀
This is great!!
Hey thank you so much I’m glad you liked it 😀
Great vid, Gaz! The Picture in Picture is so cool! Want to see more editing like that, and thanks for showing us all the internal workings. The design is also so clever, incorporating so many elements to allow the vehicle to move so freely to cover rough terrain! Can we see if it climbs stairs?
Hey thank you so much for the feedback! I will keep working on the editing! I need a PC ideally and not these tiny phones but glad you liked it!
The only way the tracks will grip on the stairs is with those beams across and unfortunately they would hit each other at the join! Although that could be solved!
Maybe with rubber bands in the tracks it would work😀
Just love ur hardwork on the models and replying on the comments lol like there are more more 300 comments on the videos and u reply with full para man..
Hey I really appreciate that thank you! I see it as my way of giving back a little! Cheers 😀
Omg it's almost unstoppable
Almost! I wish I had rubber tracks 😀
I would be so scared driving these heavy vehicles over the pond!
Haha the thought process was… if it sinks it would probably do better views wise!😂
Õ-Õ This is one oh the best creations yet! I mean the massive golf cart and bulldozer are still the best but like this is insane!
Hey JJ thank you very much! I’m unsure, I love driving this one but the golf buggy and dozer just make me smile when I look at them if you know what I mean!
I wish I could keep them all built😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines I do know what you mean haha!
Woah this looks really cool! It's impressive how well it functions too!
Next Mars rover design❤👍👍👍
Hey there thanks for the comment 😀😀
It's incredible
In terms of off-roading, I don’t think it gets better than this.
Hey there thank you very much! I’d love to try it on a more demanding course! 😀
This is by far my fav creation you've made
Oh wow thank you I’m glad you liked it! It’s mine too! Really fun to use and has never broke yet…😀
Hey you're back on track! 😎. Most interesting, and loved the detail shot of the gearing. For a mech-head like me this is almost as good as watching it in action. And what action! you have a lot of faith in those actuators, impressed that they are so strong. Loved the articulation, it was great to see swivel/swing, but to have extend and tilt was really a game changer. If you did this for an 8x8 I'd be super impressed. Maybe then the steering would have to be LA as well..... anyway great to see such creativity as ever 👍🍺
I like it Carl! And thank you very much! I’d love an 8x8 similar to this! When I was young I used to make one with 3 parts to the body and they were great at climbing but only went in a straight line!
The actuators are ridiculously strong for a Lego part, also they were kind of clamped in so they couldn’t go anywhere! Kind of an illegal move as some say but it’s all Lego so works for me.
I watching your drifting skills last night! Those cricketers will be after you lol 😀
What if each track was on it's own "pod" so to speak? Four separate tank tracks that can rotate by themselves, while still having the retracting function demonstrated here.
Hey there that’s a good idea I’ll do something like that in the future! I did something similar with one of my other ones but it needed improving
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines bigger and stronger! 😂
very nice!
Hey there thank you very much 😀
Once again back with another cool build this is great 👍
Hey Landon thank you for that! Appreciate it as always 😀
Nice and unique!!
Hey there Mike cheers 😀
Tug of war
Between this unique tank and the gulf buggy 😀
Yes Mohammed definitely! Could be close again! 😀
If this car is in real-life it's going to smash everything on it's way
Oh damn that looks insane and scary! Can’t wait to see it fight against other vehicles
Hey hey! I’m looking forward to the tug of war! Should be close again! 😀
cool its unstoppable!
Hey hey thank you! 😀
Love this
Hey thank you very much 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines all good man, all I can say about epic content like this
This is cool and unique
Hey there thank you very much for the comment! Appreciate it 😀
I am laughing at the thought of asking on a website or (best yet) a live show, “Hi, how do you get grass stains out of a pretty couch pillow after it was run over by a tank?”
The funniest thing is them believing they’re being trolled, and if they protest, you provide them this link.
😂 that made me laugh! Cheers😀
That is awesome, I want one!
Hey thank you! This ones my favourite build I think! I’m glad you like it 😀
Very cool. I friggin love Legos! These builds are NOT easy. I have tried so many times and either failed or gave up lol.
Hey Mark thank you very much! Stick at it 😀
Great design
Cheers Pez appreciate it 😀
Man, if it was big enough it could climb right up & over a mountain with ease!
Hey cheers! Maybe one day we’ll have big version!!! 😀
Now this is amazing! Hope that you won’t damage the linear actuators! And nice you’re showing more of the motorization, appreciate it a lot.
Hey there thank you Gubsters! They’re pretty strong also I clamped them in so they really couldn’t move! I think some would call it an illegal move or something like that!
And thanks for the feedback! Usually my drivetrains are fairly simple so I’ve never shown too much! But it’s usually durable and works 😀
The articulation is cool and proves very useful 👍
Hey thank you for that comment, appreciate it!
For a next build it would be interesting to see some sort of half track build with front tire steering.
you are so spot on here, I'd like to see that too! greetings fellow Gaz fan 👍🍺🇬🇧
Hey definitely I’ve not tried that yet! Tyre grip and track stability!
The vids just keep getting better with every new moc! Great job and can’t wait to see it do a tug of war battle!
Hey Chris thanks as ever! I’m looking forward to it! Several advantages over the Liebherr but also the weight is spread more so not sure..
Hurry up and finish your 4x4 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines I would but I’m in School right now🙃
School in August? What what that’s weird for us Brits!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines We start in July and end in May so We get less than 2 months of summer
To be honest we’d be better with that schedule in England! June/July weather is usually great here but August is hit or miss! Also it’s getting dark at 8 now and kids still have 2 weeks off still!
pog a new vid yay!!!
Hey there thank you hope you enjoyed 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines i did great idea
Cheers 😀
Absolutely phenomenal, I love this build
Hey thank you so much I’m glad you like it, cheers! 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines you are most welcome!
Amazing
Hey there thank you 😀
perhaps with the edges of the internal tracks more rounded it could be more effective for off-roading, but this is impressive, immagine a prototype 10 times more bigger!
Hey thank you Diego! I’d love to make a huge one of these, one of my favourite models. Agree too, I could add a few more sprocket wheels and curve it slightly.
Very creative and effective design! You can improve the POWERR by adding 2 more motors at the front! Also the red big rubber studs for tracks can perform better than the regular small ones. Keep it up👍
Oh right thanks I’ll look them up I’m not familiar with them!
Originally it was just the 2 up, 2 back but the rear just needed that extra power when climbing! The front just usually spins anyway! The weight would help though! And cheers 😀😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Hope you can find some red rubber studs in ebay.
Yeah I’ll look later thanks again 😀
If we’re ever invaded by pillows we know who to call 😅 Seriously I love this incredible articulated tank - so would the military. Would like to see some type of minifig accommodations. Such an awesome clean design.
Lol Hey Jay and thank you so much! I’ve been searching and searching to see if this has been done! I’m sure it has somewhere but couldn’t see!
Unlike many of builds I think this could actually be useful in real life haha 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines For a military tank I don’t see this ever being done: treads are already a point of weakness, and this adds a lot more to that. Combine it with the central linkage, that’s another exposed weakness that would be aimed at. Finally, how do you deal with the engine and fuel, or is it two engines?
This is a fun design for electric-powered toys, but is not something that makes sense for a real battleground scenario.
Hey there I do agree! You have to keep things simple in the real world! Maintenance, strength etc
I wasn’t really thinking of a Tank for war more like one those artic explorers type vehicles 😀
@@strictnonconformist7369 you must be fun at parties!
@@felixchallis8038 I’m the one that brings card and board games of my design that work and are fun to play, so yes, I can be fun at parties! 😂😂😂
very unique and interesting idea. would love to see this concept expanded on and use hobby grade equipment
Hi there thank you so much! Yeah a bigger more durable one would be cool to see in action
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines With a lot more torque and power it could be an incredible off road machine
Hey thanks Ryan! I will be a huge one someday but still out of Lego 😀
That is an awsome build. You always find a way to surprise me. They're always so unique and outside the box! You're almost at 30k subs, just a few more! Keep up the good work.
Hey Jared thank you so much, glad you liked it!
We’re inching there cheers 😀
Cheers! :-)
How many peoples brains broke when they saw lego on grass. What if I lose a piece. And anxiety attack in 3 2 1
I’m sure we can all relate to that lol. Nothing worse!
That's remarkable performance, especially for something that just worked
Hey thank you very much I’m glad you liked it 😀
Each of your builds amazes me more than the last!
This is awesome, I only wish I had the parts to try to replicate it. Yet again, another outstanding video, very well done 👍
Hey Lee thank you as ever! Really appreciate the comment ta 😀
It’s a shame these parts are not easier to get hold of separately without paying silly money!
I’m not sure I’ve said but I buy the big sets like the 42100 and will sell parts back I don’t need. 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines I really enjoy my 42100, but I'd probably need to buy a few more of them to get the required parts; my wife would not be impressed! She already complains that I buy too much Lego, haha! 😂
Lol tell her it will retain its value! Especially at the prices you can buy it now at! A great set! I do look for well priced track on eBay but you have to be careful it’s not old as the joins weaken! 😀
It's insane what can be built from Lego and what the ever-pushed limits of these motors and gears are.
Hey I agree it’s great and thank you! There’s some amazing things on UA-cam which people have built with Lego! It’s what got me back into it😀
POG
Hey Pawel! 😀
Awesome! I can see how that would be good a crawling, it a shame that those tracks can’t flex both ways then u could have proper suspension👍😎
Hey Nick cheers I’d like to try it somewhere more demanding! I nearly added double wishbone suspension to the units but decided against it for the first time out! There were a few variables I wasn’t sure about lol
its a new idea but i feel some kind of hinges would have sorted this easier. even the lifting part could have achieved with unattached actuator. I definitely like it.
Hi there thanks for the input cheers! And thank you 😀
This looks like something from Star Wars
And particularly something to be afraid of
Lol hey hey! It’s mostly a peaceful tank… I need to finish making a gun so I can add it to these builds!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines ooh that would be really cool
Idk why but this should be called Lewis and Clark because they were together and could conquer a lot of rough terrain.
Hey I love that comment! Cheers 😀
All of your MOCs get stranger, and that's their strengths! That fact you make these amazing mechanisms are so cool! The shaping seems to help it a lot on terrain, how do you think it would do on snow?
Hey thank you as ever, really appreciate it!
I was thinking about how this would do on snow aswell! I think the wide tracks would help a lot so it wouldn’t sink in, steering I’m not so sure about! 😀
next: unique world war II tank that can shoot missles that can kill you in one push of a button
maybe one day…. Lol 😂
I just read that lego might release a BIG Caterpillar Bulldozer? Seems pretty perfect for this…
Hey Ben! Yeah it looks a great set from what I’ve seen, I guess its the Liebherr replacement for their top model
october 1st.
Finally, something to watch after doing homework! This is just so cool, do you think you could do videos that are like designer videos? Talking about the build and that kinda stuff.
Hey Benen! Homework? Those were the days! And thank you very much! I honestly haven’t the time for them, also I’m not sure I could talk to a camera! It’s just not me 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines well, you could do it without showing yourself, like just showing your chest with the build in front of you at a table? And yes homework, high school started :) :(
Best years of your life apparently… I think it’s the talking part! I can talk a lot in person but to a camera when no one is there I just find it weird lol
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines that's understandable , just try looking at the camera and see how it goes! I sometimes just start off talking and then I really get into it.
amazing. such a cool build, i love the shape of it. but in my opinion there is stress on the motors in the back and front half because you have
4 in the back and 2 in the front, so the back is faster than the front. but maybe the motors are working together as 6.
maybe there is no stress? but it is still a great build. and im guessing that the bull dozer is part of the golf buggy now.
and i love your new filming technique.
Hey there thank you as ever and for the feedback, appreciate it!
Originally it had 2 up 2 down but then I changed this as when climbing the rear had all the load on it and struggled! Now what I didn’t realise when testing was the rear batteries were flat so I added 2 more motors! Not knowing at the time I probably didn’t need to do that lol. The issue with 2 more motors upfront would mean another hub which I didn’t want to add for weight reasons. I think like you say when it’s on the flat ground they should all work together and I went with 4 on the rear just to make sure there was enough power at all times. 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines i see why you put 4 motor at the back, very clever. thanks for replying
This reminds me a lot of the Bv-206
Yeah it’s similar to the articulated vehicles, I live those things!
This is a cool design. I would like to see a parts list.
Hi David thank you very much! Although not big this did use quite a lot of certain parts which cost a bit to get hold of! 40 large sprockets, a lot of track I think around 500 pieces maybe a few more and 8 l motors! Other than that mostly just beams!
I wish I had the time to do builds for these 😀
This is an incredible vehicle. What pieces did you use for the extension system?
Hey thanks again! I used 4 large actuators out of the 42100 set😀
i want one
Thank you glad you liked it! 😀
Really cool vehicle. I'm trying to rebuild one of my own weird vehicles but it goes slow. I will probably find the solutions I need after a number of tries.
Reminds me of something from Star Wars
All it needs is a turret like 40k style since it sorta resembles that type of tank. Maybe some side ???? deals can't recall the name.
Yeah that would suit it definitely! I usually keep my builds fairly simple looks wise so I can make new ones regularly! 😀
Please build a version of the halo scorpion tank with this design!!!!
I will one day! That things a beast!
Thus your wife now about the pillows, other wise you good be in trouble. 🤪 Lovely vehicle. 👍👍👍🇱🇺
😂😂 Thank you so much as well 😀
Motorize the rotation between the halves for better control
I will do models like that but wanted this to flow naturally when moving across the ground 😀
looks like something you see in WWII
Hey, I'm curious, whats the advantage of the retracting feature? why not just have it always extended?
Thank you and nice video!
Hey thank you very much. It struggles to steer when extended, far more agile when together 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Thank you so much for the reply!
Hey no problem! :)
I don’t believe this is a LEGO build I just can’t.
Thank you I guess 😀
0:24 Are the metal rods, linking the two body halves, original lego pieces or did you fabricated them by yourself?
Hey there! they’re the Lego large actuators. I encased the 4 of them between two rectangle pieces and the 4 provided great strength!
You could swing it around by one half if you wanted lol
If you could install a way to shift to a lower gear, then perhaps it would increase the pulling power?
Hi it was more the grip to be honest, the thing had enough power but couldn’t apply it :)
I wonder if it would have done better in the pull test if it was extended
Where do you get all of your tracks?
remind me of hagglund BV-206
Hey definitely similar to the articulated vehicles! This is a bit more stable on uneven ground but not as agile when the body is extended 😀
It’s all fun and games until someone puts a turret on this and terrorizes cities
Haha one day I will do for you Alessio! Just a Lego city though of course 😂
Quite reminds me of ww1 british tanks
I love those old tanks! 😀
Do you plan to improve the design because I heared chain skipping it seemed pretty slow and although I didn't see any problems with it do you think a few aktuators will hold up in it I mean it sure is an awesome concept just seemed pretty first Gen like
Hey Philip thank you. The chains couldn’t slip on the sprockets. Maybe it was just the tracks on the concrete which never sounds healthy! I’m not sure which part you mean though?
The 4 actuators are so so strong! They are clamped in and it’s physically impossible to move them in that position, it worked so well if I’m honest! You can hold it in the air by one end and swing it about if you wanted to lol 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Maybe it was really just me not listening closely but when you say it's good I definitely believe you and it's awesome that a few aktuators are strong enough for that but do you consider a bigger faster version like a 2.0
Hey that’s cool, I always enjoy your input! It’s probably the tracks on the wood stone, it does sound clunky! I wish there was rubber tracks I could get hold of as the studs are not great at all.
I’d like to make the tracked vehicles faster but the issue is theres so much power lost through the drivetrain that you end up needing short gearing. If the builds were around 1-2Kg i could get away with faster builds! Also maybe using lithium batteries would help but they’re expensive and not as reliable in the as size.
The build is quite big though so hides it’s speed a bit!
I will try a faster tracked vehicle someday soon but this one needs quite a lot of torque😀
Perfect that's exactly what I wanted to hear I think a fast tracked vehicle would be sick and the lego chains are a real pain at anything more than normal driving thats why I always build custom chains with the lego rubber parts maybe that's an idea for your final version but I think you'll get the speed problem sorted anyways and I also love conversations with other Talentet lego engineers it's always so interesting
