The LK65s are staying for now and hopefully Arriva will retain the 428 and 492 with them as they're still quite young. But yeah hopefully the DWs stay, imo they're still quite healthy despite being 14 now
@@MostlyBuses1428 is allocated to LJ59s not LK65s and LK65s are for 229/492, 229/492 will probably be retained with their existing LK65s and 428 will probably be retained with HTs from the 405 or G3s (frogfaces) from Palmers Green, there’s enough from there for both the 329 and 428 as there’s 28 of them.

Hopefully I see the 99, 269 & 401 on GAL on that day, most likely will. And here is a fact: I have not ridden a GAL double decker route in ages. But cool video tho!
I would recommend getting a DW as those will probably be the first to go from DT. Hopefully the electrics get delayed by a few months (or even years like some other garages) as the temporary allocation will be nice
@@MostlyBuses1 Whilst it lasts the Arriva London suddenly being reinvented from 7 year to have old DWs in preparation for withdrawal but DT gets usage on downgrade since long as lot of AL groups by several occasions, almost completely lost the 99, 269 and 401 bids. MR is in an advantageous to internalise and for some reason only picked up the outstation to buy one of ALN refusing to do anywhere near Erith as much 469 or B12 tender losses, New route did not align with 479 SD. New Route 479: Crayford to Thamesmead: via Bentham Road, Carlyle Road, Harrow Manorway, Abbey Road, St Augustines Road, Heron Hill, Brook Street, Erith Road, Barnehurst Road, Mayplace Road East, Manor Road and Crayford High Street.
That's why Arriva London do not even have a moral standard in all their bidding, so whatever the issue is isn't about 99/269/401 even stricter regulations on GAL to prevent overload and ensure DT figure out where TfL was tendered a knowledge of winning BX garage.

It's my local route and it's not uncommon to have the last bus cut out from Bexleyheath. Short running to Erith due to lack of drivers and a couple of weeks back when the route was diverted via Abbey Wood all the passengers were booted off at Thamesmead boiler house thanks to a curtailment (luckily there was a 472 behind!)

B15 expires 24 January 2026 won't be replaced with more GB kites, Enviro100EV or Metrocity were fined brutally for tender results.

I can see the HTs carted off to DT for the 428 IF DT cannot be electrified I see a possibility of this happening even if DT is wired up - which btw, I suspect will happen - I can see them doing a joint bid for that whole lot, 96, 229, 428, 469, 492, B12, B15 (maybe also the 51, 486 and B11) either with new EVs but also potentially an existing component for the 229/428/492 (300 series and HTs)
@@MostlyBuses1 Unless they group ALN been vaguely aware of LK65 had only ever familiarised with the 229s allocation and relative out there first, I think EVs haven't proved very popular with DT electrified yet. I'm more concerned where the 301/B15 is going to be tendered in evidence without 2026 bids, no doubt HTs might need some semblance of a TC viable alternative for primarying an incumbent 405 on a fully electric and thought about the 428 plan.
@@MostlyBuses1 Especially there is easier than tracking electric buses, wasn't obvious reasons for buying BZL/ADL E400EVs/Streetdeck Electroliner or BD11 BYD only really horrible to just crumble away with zero emissions right now, London bus that doesn't bother testing new vehicles.
@@MostlyBuses1 That's generally what T11 being too old Enviro sometimes unreliable and a redundant ALN fleet, an almost standalone route ex-135. At some point also have the same incidents of LJ08/59/10/60/LJ/GN61 rather slowly withdrawn to reserve a new electric don't end up the contract, I know the KX61 or LJ13 still in service.

Arriva SD Electric ordered the 166, 255 and 312, seems low. B15, 192, 377, 375, 318, W4, W6, 166, 312, 255 and 410 after 347 withdrawn.
I guess you can remove the 318 from that list now. I'm surprised the B15 is still using GN09s and we still haven't heard about its next contract
