EE strikes again. Nice job EE, helmet is a little big for you. The transport container was a great find along with playing in the mud to find clip holder. HH if it wasn't for the weeds the ROV would do nicely. This was the same area that you pulled the MG drum up at. So just maybe they drove a tank into the pond.. Have a number of parts to restore now. Helmet looks like the emblems were either not put on or they eroded off. Great work gentlemen. Great video HH.

What any incredible place for magnet fishing. Trust Eagle Eyes to find something amazing on his first throw! And even when he's not looking, he finds something else amazing. I don't know how he does it. That double ammo pouch looked like it was dropped in the mud yesterday. Oh to have talent like that. It is certainly his superpower when it comes to hunting History. And the lake just kept on giving. More ammo belt starters, the 20mm cases, and then, that most incredible find of the metal ammo tube, probably for a 7.5cm shell, and then that super, well preserved, helmet with the leather liner still inside. That was just mind numbing to see. Obviously the mud at the bottom is so devoid of oxygen that everything in it is so well preserved from just rusting away to nothing. I have no doubt that that lake holds so many more amazing surprises. Fantastic work guys, so looking forward to seeing what else that location has to offer! Cheers to you both. Stay safe!

Eagle Eyes, with this luck you have when you get old enough you need to buy a lottery ticket! You were pulling up some great stuff. Loved the spent shell casing and did either of you figure out what that container was for? Could not believe that helmet you pulled up and how good of shape it was after being in the water and silt all these decades. Was amazing that the leather harness was still intact! Looking forward to seeing what else we get to see at this site in future trips.

Funny you mention that . EE is actually very lucky in many things including lottery and i feel it is just a matter of time before he will end up with a jackpot or something. EE was so happy for many days after pulling up that helmet and i loved to see that. Thanks and be safe out there.

Bravo Eagle Eyes with all that you found young man & same to you HH totally cool items and probably worth some dollars to some collectors. I own a German Kropatschek and on the top spine of the blade it is engraved with " Steyr 1886 " and it is in very good condition.

The pouches you found are Steyr Manlicher pouches, the rear line troops used such wrapons.
