    “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” - Arthur C. Clarke
    Mathmatically speaking, playing cards are c, Time is t, Magic is y, and Jason Ladanye is z. So (c + z) x t = y therefore z must also equal "a" (sufficiently advanced technology), right?

    If I live to 100 years old, I *still* won't understand why the "struggle bus" is so full of people. Are certain things really that hard for people to comprehend?!
    1) The man is REALLY that good.
    2) He got that way through years and years of practice, which requires doing the same maneuvers and routines thousands (if not millions) of times.
    3) Through all that practice and repetition, he makes it look easy and effortless.
    4) If you wanted to invest the time and put in the necessary work to learn the same skills and routines, you could do what he does as well.
    5) If you can't -- or don't want to -- invest the time necessary to do what he does, then shut up and enjoy the show, or leave.
    That is all; thank you.

    I’m starting to become a believer. I slowed it down to frame by frame and he really does snatch them out. The ace of clubs is visible falling when his hand goes in. It’s not like David Blaine who uses video editing to do similar tricks. When David does it you can slow it down to frames and see cards materialize in his hand when he pretends to catch. That isn’t happening here.

I practice some specific stuff way more than he did with this trick, even if he had to redo this trick in front of the camera 100 times until he got it, its still less than most gamers are practicing. If you love something, time spent doing it doesnt matter. The impressive stuff is the passion for it, not the outcome.

    I believe he's a master at his craft. I'm amazed, and I'm a fan. My only theory on this trick is that the aces here are 'stuck' together somehow, such as static electricity or something. And again, he's still catching the correct 'card' out of the deck, and it's still amazing.

    • @kevinfrey1435
      @kevinfrey1435 3 місяці тому

      No, they're not stuck together somehow. There is one thing that does happen, though. It's ever so slight, and it's not obvious except in slow motion, but when the aces drop, he slows the waterfall down.
      Maybe it's subconscious, or maybe it's necessary to be able to grab multiple cards, but it sure doesn't diminish his level of mastery because even that slightly slower waterfall is much too fast for the rest of us to smoothly grab even a single card.
