I like the way you travel to destinations where other fancy youtubers don't go and present it dignified and with high quality pictures. Thumbs up - one more destination on my list.
thanks for the nice words - I try to do my best to understand destinations and try to present them with a little more in-depth information. By working with the local tourism boards I get the chance to connect e.g. with local musicians like Nanook which was a fantastic way to get to know the music scene of the country. I'd love to do more on that scale. Thanks for watching!
Have had a dream ever since Geography Class in 4th Grade introduced us to Greenland. I have not stopped thinking about coming here just to look at & explore this place.
Thank you for introducing me to Greenland. What a fascinating place. My felicitations to the hardy people who inhabit this land. They are brave, resourceful and hardworking. Look forward to more such videos.
Steve, I was on a difficult day and watched the video. I felt comfortable thanking you very much. You are still a good person. I speak to you from a desert land.
Spectacular views of the Greenland of today. The sharp contrast between the ultra modern 21st century capital city and the pristine landscape of remote Greenland is astonishing.
I've been to Iceland many times. It is definitely time for a trip to Greenland. It looks just amazing. We have a sailing yacht well suited for the trip. That'll be one hell of a way to get there.
I've been to Greenland but not to Nuuk. Your tour was very very well done...explanations, foods, fishing, camping, etc. Also, your smiles make the video. Please thank the musicians, and local guides etc for my trip to Nuuk. Be safe, be well and be happy
I fell in love with Greenland! ... that music is so fantastic. It reminds me of Hawaiian music, really!! ... the people seem so friendly and that church is wonderful.
I loved the video. Greenland has been on my bucket list too long. I would love to witness the Northern Lights there but feel at 73 I'm getting too old for the climate. Thank you for sharing the sights to me.
Absolutely gorgeous, and amazing video! I have a stone from Nuuk Greenland called Nuummite that I wear almost every day. It's my dream to go to Nuuk Greenland one day. Thank you for this video 🙏😊
Mate, Nuuk looks awesome. Love the view from the top of that ski hill. Drone paradise. All the food looked amazing too. & weather on the glacier the first day... mate awesome!!
I am visiting Greenland in August and looking more forward to it after seeing this video! Awesome! How can I meet locals to connect with once I’m there?
Are you well? It's been much too long since this last video. We miss you!! Relieved to know that you're ok! Looking forward to your new upcoming videos. Stay well👍
All is well, I just got back from filming another video in Bhutan after I was filming a whole video series in Norway. In other words: A number of videos are currently in the making :)
AMAZING video man, well done. Greenland was already high on my list to visit, but this video bumped it up another notch. What time of year were you there? I'm guessing it's really expensive...is it about the same as Iceland or even more expensive?
Iceland is a country of Highway Robbers! I spent 3 days there and took only 1 tour because of obscene prices . I could not afford to go to a restaurant because we were two and the minimum price was $50 for cheapest entree, no soup, no salad, no desert -ala carte. One restaurant meal would have been well over $150 for a couple. I had to pay $5Euro to use the restroom at the park! The locals blame tourists for making their prices so high. "We cannot go out for a beer said one" we pay these high prices too! The business owners tell you its because they are so far from Europe and USA(food is expensive). This is a lie because even "Icelandic Salmon" is high. I buy it in my NY supermarket cheaper than what they are charging in Iceland! ECO TOURISM is becoming the biggest scam in the world. Boycott these places until the prices become fair. There are many places that haven't become tourist traps yet : Glacier Park USA, The Ozarks, Western Canada, Budapest, Romania, etc....
I know Im randomly asking but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Nickolas Reece Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Wooowwww. What an amazing Journey. I hope visit Greenland (Groenlandia in Spanish) some Day. The music is amazing and your videos are very professional and beautifful. Greetings from México.
I live in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA with a 2020 census population of 62,521, slightly larger than the population of Greenland. It is hard for me to imagine an independent country with a population less than my small city / large town - my guess is that they are going to have to depend on Denmark to handle defense, plus my understanding from reading about Greenland is that Denmark provides large subsidies to keep local government and the economy afloat. The Faroe Islands is a similar semi-autonomous Danish territory with a similar population, but I think it has a much stronger economy. In some ways it would make more sense in the long run for Greenland to join a confederation with Iceland and the Faroe Islands, or become part of next door Canada, but keeping the current system seems to work as long as Denmark is willing to continue sending money there. I have both Iceland and the Faroe Islands on my travel bucket list but may add Nuuk as well after watching this video.
Wow, thank you so much for bringing all of that beauty to my eyes! Magnificent desolation, just like the moon. Also I am in love with that band and I’d like to know what language it is they are speaking. And what language is spoken in Nuuk? My name is Peggie from Louisiana USA.
The band sings in Greenlandic:-) We mainly speak Greenlandic and Danish in Greenland, English isn’t a language we use in our everyday lives but it’s taught in schools so many people speak English in some levels
The constant smile on your face and excitement in your voice make it easy to catch the enthusiasm for a visit to Nuuk.
Thanks, Gary - it's hard not to smile when you are surrounded by such incredibly beautiful nature!
So true!!😄

AMAZING video man, well done. Greenland was already high on my list to visit, but this video bumped it up another notch. What time of year were you there? I'm guessing it's really expensive...is it about the same as Iceland or even more expensive?
it is a bit more expensive due to the few amount of airlines that travel there! :) - resident of nuuk
