Thank you very much for hearing my request to share the story of Angulimala and Buddha. Angulimala was a cruel and ruthless person, he was a murderer. Thanks to Buddha he is transformed into a kind person. If I am not mistaken, I become a Monk. This story will be of great help to me to write a post in some Buddhist Group about Angulimala and Buddha. Sadhu Sadhu 🙏🙏🙏 Namo Buddhaya 🙏🙏💐🌷
Thanks for your kind suggestion for this beautiful story. This video was based on your request. The story of Angulimala is one of the best-known stories from the Life of Buddha, having some very deep learnings. Namo Buddhay !!
Your videos are really valuable! Imagine , all the expensive junk in the world out there, and I can watch these for free. Please keep making videos! One day i would love to see the entire dhammapada presented in this format!!

Though Magic, religion, and science are all connected in some way, they are very different in their nature (which includes differences in the objectives, instruments and expected results of the activity). Where do the Dhamma stand (i.e. if Dhamma is magic, religion or science)?? This question needs much detailed deliberation and I find it very difficult to answer it here in the comment section. I am afraid, I might need another video on this topic (If Buddhism is magic, religion or science?). But for the time being, I will conclude that from the perspective of the anthropological definition of magic, Buddha's approach was definitely not magic. Rather he fought against the oppressive magical practices prevalent at that time (for eg, animal sacrifices might somehow magically take one to heaven, or some mantras might magically save one's life).
@@BodhisattvaTravels Thanks for reply. And let me tell you that I like your all videos. Talking about the topic you mentioned 'If Buddhism is Magic, Religion or Science?' would be great to be a listener for.
@@pratik.m.bhalerao Thanks. It's great to know that you are liking the videos. And thanks for the video idea- which just popped up with your kind comment.
Angullimala Teacher's has neither true wisdom nor insight into many things actually and this is a common problem in ancient India especially within the corrupt Brahminical ( today we call it the post modern day Hindu ) religion and sects. The same goes for the ascetics of whom Lord Sakyamuni Siddharta Gautama Buddha studied with . . neither knew how to liberate themselves and others from the endless cycle of the Saha World Samsaric World and the Other Worlds. Angullimala was blinded by the superstitious and wrong Guru Dakshina Teachings of his own teacher to do cruel and evil deeds but was saved by Lord Sakyamuni Siddharta Gautama Buddha's immense powers of true wisdom and insights. Angulimala was neither evil nor cruel or a ruthless person as mentioned by many who never really read the Paritta but He was simply blinded by the stupidity and ignorance as well as gross teachings of Guru Dakshina within the Brahminical Indian ( " hindu " ) systems of ancient India. This was also because his own teacher and the other students wanted to destroy Angullimala due to jealousy and due to not checking facts but mere rumors and false convictions.
I have never learned the Angulimal story in this detail thank you
Most beautiful story of transformation. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

Can you do a video on upali the monk
Why does Buddha need to create an illusion, when Angulimala chases Buddha.
Are you saying that Buddha knows magic, if he can, then can we do it?

Bro don't mind but with all due respect the narrative voice is so bad.
Thanks for your kind feedback. Highly appreciated. Will try to improve gradually.
@@BodhisattvaTravels awesome. The editing is really good though 👌🏼👌🏼
