Soulstone survivor is the goat. Honestly this game deserves so much more success - the dev team behind the game is absolutely insane. I have been playing the game since day 1 - i still can't believe how much the game has changed through the years. You guys are so goated. Thank you so much, the new game mode sounds sick

Interesting conversation. I had Soulstone Survivors on my steam wishlist for a long time, waiting to see how it developed during Early Access and I bought it about a year ago, right after the New Beginnings revert. I saw the announcement on my Steam feed and I thought that it was a very good sign that you reverted the update so quickly, it showed you care a lot about the community's feedback there and that was the major decision that pushed me over the edge to purchase the game. I really like the artifact powers for the weapons. Before I would just select the weapon based on the weapon stats they provide but now theres another aspect to consider. I'm looking forward to future rune rebalancing. There are so many runes but you're only allowed to take a small selection and some of the runes are so good or fun that I would never select anything else. I think Improved Repertory is amazingly fun because having more skill slots means more synergy and build possibility. I would never do a build without this rune, which means I'm really down to 3 slots left with so many choices. Just something to consider. Thanks for the game and have a Merry Christmas!
I love Soulstone Survivors. It's one of my all time favorite games, right next to PoE (and now PoE2). I do think the New Beginning was in the right direction. It just felt like all the changes were just a small bit too far. But even with them being a small bit too far, compounded together to make it feel much bigger. Like the exp changes reduced how high of a level you could get by like 30-50%. meaning your getting way less upgrades. While some upgrades were nerfed, and new upgrades added, meant you would have to get very lucky and precise on the upgrades you choose. Otherwise, your damage would fall off a cliff. Because the difficulty scaling was also changed. So all of these little changes on their own would be kind of minor. But together, they would multiply how much of an issue they would cause for someone drastically. No matter what though, thank you so much for this great game.
I really love these video updates. They keep me hopeful for the game's future. These videos convey a level of sincerity that even the best text-based or png-pic updates cannot. I love the overall changes and improvements that the game has gone through, and can't wait to see where it goes from here. On another note, I think that after you reach 1.0 release and the game is in a basically-finished state with no new characters planned, you could release character skin packs for 5 or 10 dollars. Not for greed or scummy practices, but as a way for the members of the community to donate more to the game if they wish. I say this as someone who, on principle, truly dislikes how the DLC economy on skins is in nearly every game. This is only the second game I have ever played that I am willing to spend money on cosmetic skins, purely to support the developers; the first ever game was Deep Rock Galactic. That is truly the best compliment I can give to a game developer: I do not buy skins in my video games.

Soulstone has become my main one, because of the variety of characters and skills along with just unlocking holy cathedral. I will likely do a review and try give some feedback on stuff as maybe it is useful for you guys to have players who aren't so skilled at the game or new to the genre?
