Just a reminder, really appreciate all your advice on the QC. I just hope one say Neural will give us an IOS app for the QC, will save turning on the computer when producing intricate tones 😊 Update : keep the clean tones coming for us jazz, country players
Nice Video, dude! I got a QC in the mail should have it by the weekend. I had one when they released (16mo on a waitress) but was very underwhelmed by it. I have been using an FM9T in the studio, and I love the Fractal stuff but the dimensions are awful. I do not understand why they made the Fm9 so bulky. I put it in my Gator ATA case and it leaves no usable space anywhere. It's too tall for it too. It's a Med to Large size case too. Anyway, this video gives me hope that NDSP have overcome the challenges from its early stages. I love these tones you're pulling. Will definitely be trying some of these out. Maybe a silly question, but I wonder if I'll be able to accurately capture some of my fav Fractal presets? I have quite a few Progressive-Metal tones that I would love to transfer to the QC - Ill be looking into it and a one of a kind clean I built off a Suhr30. Thanks for the video
Those IRs are from the free Amalgam pack. However, if you have put them in a subfolder, the QC and CortexControl won't know they are there, so you'll have to manually change. For future videos, it would be really useful if you would put the full name of the IR in the description, as there doesn't seem to be a way to see that from the downloaded preset if it's not found them. Thanks for the preset, though!
I'm here just to tell you that i too really appreciate your work on tones for QC, and i have a little question. Do you know what type of amps, cabs and other stuff are used for tones of Scorpions band? I really like those hevy dist's in "Still loving you", or "No one like you"? Maybe you alredy have a preset similar to their tones(but i don't remember i've seen it) 😊

You should be able to capture the Fractal tones no problem. Just remember you can't capture time based effects (delay, reverb, modulation)

Appreciate that. I haven't looked into their gear but I'll check it out.
The IR Loaders in my unit show warning signs I dont know what that means, thanks great job
Likely means it can't find some of the IR files. Try going to the Amalgam IR link in the description.
In IR section is normal first one volume level +3dB and second one -3dB?
However great tones💪👍👍👍
That's the default setting for the dual IR in the QC. Not sure why.
@@davlavmusic7070 pretty peculiar...but it sounds amazing
Great! maybe this preset isn't public on the cortex cloud?
No it's public. 30+ folks have already downloaded it.
@davlavmusic7070 found! and I confirm that the IRs are the free ones from Amalgamaudio
How thick is the instruction book that comes with this unit?
It doesn't come with one. Its all on the internet/website.
It's so intuitive, you won't need one....well sort of
