update i bought battery and changed it now it's working great
Thnx for the video.....ive had jbl go 3 for 5yrs....volume has decreased and only bout 3hrs of battery life.....time for new battery or buy new one ?
If the quality of the speaker is okay just buy a new batterry ❤
Had a different model, still JBL Go 3, but the mesh was a pain to dismount, probably couldn't put it back. Doesn't matter, I can't fix my problem, it still doesn't charge. I think it's a faulty USB-C port, can't do anything. Well, I'll buy another one, there are very good products, very sturdy, and a very nice sound for the price.
Still, thanks very much, pretty much the only useful tuto on the internet ! All the other ones are like "check your cable or try factory reset", yeah no shit sherlock, if it was this easy, I wouldn't be on the internet. It's like looking for specific computer problems and having "fixes" that tells you to just reboot the computer.

Your video was super! I would like to know if you can help me or give me some ideas. My go 3 just turn off after 5 seconds, doesnt matter if is charging or not. The battery voltage is 3.05v, i’ve removed the battery but keep doing the same, turn off after 5 seconds.

mine was bought new from eBay, and is fake. it has a tiny battery with only two wires, about half the size of the one in the video. but I replaced it with a 18650 cell, strapped to the outside, and got it working now at least.

Do you have an instructional video on how to repair the cracklin sound whenever it is played?
Is the driver or the passive radiator ruptured (check carefully) if it is try glueing it with a mild glue by brushing the glue with a paint brush.
@@aimanmc4891 yeah. It has a couple of "lacerations". I tried buying an OEM speaker, installed it but it sound different from stock. Also, the opposing side speaker does not function after I installed the new one.
@@makiboi47 it ain't a speaker it's a bass radiator for it to work the speaker needs to be airtight!
Passive radiator to be exact,it relies on the real driver and amplifies the bass notes (low notes) just like how when you shake a slinky slowly it moves just the way you shook it but when you shake it fastly the last part won't move as much.(Slow movement depicts low frequency and vise versa)
@@aimanmc4891 so thats how it is. OEM speakers does'nt have the same dimensions as the the stock, that is why it does not function properly. Maybe I'll try glueing the stock speaker and replace the OEM one.

My JBL GO3 speaker doesn't make the unique sound when I power it on. I can connect with Bluetooth, control volume and play function from speaker, just no sound, why?

how to fix crackling sound?
Mine does same
Open your jbl then see if there's a crack in your speaker or a broken button, when air goes out that's reason why theirs a crackling sound
