- Pennywise return to the show after a 4 year hiatus (soft ban) imposed after Fletcher vomited all over Dr. Drew, the console and studio during their last visit in 1995 before Adam Carolla started on the show.
Fletcher holds the hosts hostage claiming he has a grenade while threatening to take them to "Poo Poo City!" A Legendary Episode.
The PSA and bumpers are just a wave of nostalgia! I feel like I have to get up for 10th grade tomorrow 😅
Man I 100% remember the episode when fletch was hammered throwing up and this episode. I listened to love line religiously from 96 till Stryker. He was ok.
What a trip, like it’s 10:00pm I’m 13yo sneaking out to smoke a bowl of blueberry Kush in some bushes with a Walkman and headphones, on the edge of where the pasedena antenna reached.
I have the Dr Drew shuffle and the Adam shuffle somewhere on a cassette.

Those network PSAs are such insipid retch. They live up to all of Adam's rants about them. If anything, I'd say he was going a bit too gentle on them.
They honestly sound like cheesy satire that belongs on the imaginary radio stations for Grand Theft Auto. They don't sound real at all! Lol

Totally forgot about Pennywise so looked them up and bassist Jason Matthew Thirsk passed away from self inflicted gunshot wound months after this on 7/29/2016.. per wiki, from alcohol issues.

So before this episode, Fletcher from the band Pennywise was a guest star on Loveline and he vomited all over the cast cuz he was drunk and he was also doing it intentionally. They called Pennywise back and Fletcher decided to this time barricade the cast and staff inside the recording room and threatened to throw poop on them. So security had to call the police to deescalate the situation.
