You could try cleaning the board with isoprobyl alcohol and getting a new ssd. The folder icon on startup is actually a good sign, hopefully it only shorted out the ssd itself and didn't damage anything on the actual board.

Maybe you can try to use external SSD until finding replacement machine, I know it's not the speediest move but It'll be better than 2010 iMac with HDD.

oof thats gonna suck im not a macbook person or a apple person in general but i have loved my dell business class machines if your wanting to upgrade.
