This is one of the best musical arrangements I've ever heard. KTS is one of my favourite songs and this orchestration is just simply incredible. Alexi would've loved this but hopefully he's jamming to it in the afterlife. This song was already a masterpiece but this orchestration is on a completely different level to any other cover I've heard of this song. Thanks for sharing this to the world :)

Holy shit man, this is amazing! The way the whole piece is orchestrated is very interesting. The use of the instruments responding to each other is awesome, the harmonies are perfect and you managed to add your own touch to this amazing song. It is not an easy task at all (especially the solos) so congrats on this awesome work! Must have taken you quite some time to put this piece together.

Fun fact: this song’s melody is based on La Folia, an ancient melody that became extremely popular in Europe, especially Scandinavia in the 16th and 17th centuries.

According to the website I learned it from: “ Well, this is rough stuff you might say: a Finnish 'melodic death metal'-band. They play very close to the Folia-theme in a 2/4 meter. The theme is only a part of the song and is introduced three times, when you consider the paired repeats as one.” The melody repeated is the one heard in the first 25 seconds.

I've only now decided to search for is for some reason and this is beyond incredible. You nailed this!!!! I wasn't expecting to hear the solos but holy cow did you nail it. Those violin players have chops!! And it was super interesting how you used the harmonies in there. Super well done man its a damn shame this kind of stuff doesn't get more love.
