Oh sick! What a cool idea!
This is so Cool 🎩
That ND gear is great, one feature i love about the Canon C100
I guess it is kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
@Kyrie Derrick flixportal :)
@Deshawn Ameer thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it!
@Kyrie Derrick glad I could help :D
Hello! Will this work with the new Rokinon Xeen CF lenses, PL version? Adapting from PL to MFT on GH5.
Yes, this adapter should work nicely with those lenses and the GH5. Just make sure the rear element of those lenses--the distance from the mounting flanges to the rear end of the lens is 20mm or shorter. If the element is longer it will bump into the variable ND filter.
this is good consumer advise for my at the moment
Glad to help!
will lomo anamorphics work on this adapter
Is there an adaptor on the market which allows you to use M43/Canon EF/FD or similar lenses on a PL mount camera such as the Sony F3?
We don't currently offer any adapters like that, mostly because the focal flange distance is off. For instance, Canon FD has a focal flange distance of 42.00 mm, while PL has one of 52.00 mm, so you wouldn't be able to focus to infinity. There is an M42 to PL adapter out there though. Here's some info on it: www.vintagelensesforvideo.com/using-m42-lenses-on-pl-cameras/
Polarized glass in this adapter, what brand? if not secret?
Hello there, thank you for this adapter, can I use this for Vantage Hawk V and Hawk V-plus lenses?
As long as the rear elements of those lenses are shorter than 20mm, they should work fine. If their rear elements are longer, they'd bump into the adapter's built-in VND filter.
I really want one. Big question though. I own DZO vespid prime in PL mount . Is the flange distance great enough to use? Thanks
I'd recommend measuring the rear element of the lens to see if it's longer than 20mm beyond its mounting flange. If it's shorter than 20mm, you're good, the lens should work well.
is there an adaptor on the market for my bmpcc 6k ef mount to pl mount?
Yes. Our PL to EF adapter will allow you to mount a PL lens on a BMPCC 6K camera. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-ef-p
@@FotodioxInc @Fotodiox Inc is work all zeiss ultra prime lenses pl mount?
@@Salmankhanirz Depends on how long the rear elements of those lenses are. Here's a graphic showing what's required for the PL lenses to mount: www.fotodiox.info/blog/dt_articles/faq-adapters-will-this-arri-pl-lens-fit-this-adapter-arri-pl-lens-mount-to-canon-eos-ef-ef-s-camera-system/
Is there any magnification putting a Super 16mm lens on a BMPC4k?
Nope. You just get the normal 2x crop of the BMPCC4K.
Have some problems with flange distance with pl lens in black magic 4k?
I didn't have any problems with these tests. Was able to focus to infinity.
I need a Konica F to Eos or to M4/3 adapter.. I suppose you don't make such adapter, do you?
We do offer Konica AR adapters, but unfortunately no Konica F-mount ones, though this thread mentions that there may be some F to AR adapters out there that you could double adapt your F lens onto our AR adapters: forum.mflenses.com/konica-f-mount-adapters-t64743.html
Here's a link to our Konica AR adapters: fotodioxpro.com/collections/lens-mount-adapters/lens-mount_konica-ar
Hi. I have a fuji x-h2s and have few pl mount xeen lenses that I use with my ursa mini pro.
1. Do you have a pl to fuji x mount adapter with built in ND filters? Or what are the options i can use to have an nd filter for my pl mount to fuji x mount.
2. Do you have any variable ND filter for fuji x mount lens also?
I have few x mount fuji lens too.
We don't currently make a PL to Fuji X adapter with a built in VND filter, but we do make a standard version. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-fx-p
So the only option at this time would be to use VND filters on the front of your adapted PL lenses.
Unfortunately we can't make a Fuji X to Fuji X ND Throttle adapter because you can't put extra space between a native lens and native camera and maintain infinity focus.
Thank you :) il check out the adapter
Hi! Will this work on Bmpcc6k? Any latest list of compatible lenses with this adapter? Please help.
This adapter is designed to mount on a Micro 4/3 camera, so it won't work on the Pocket 6K, which has a Canon EF mount. We do however offer a PL to Canon EF adapter that will work on the Pocket 6K. It doesn't have a variable ND though, because there's not enough space. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-eos-pro
Unfortunately this product is currently out of stock, but you can sign up on the page to be notified when we get more in. We list the compatible lenses on the page.
@@FotodioxInc Thank you for the quick reply. I did see a PL to EF mount adapter on your website that will work on the Bmpcc6k, will Atlas Orion anamorphic lenses, Hawk anamorphic lenses work with this. Couldn't find any anamorphic lenses on the page. Please help
@@AngadBhatiaa There's a graphic on the listing that I linked above that shows the maximum spacing on back elements of PL lenses that will still fit on our adapter. I'd recommend contacting the company that sells/rents Hawk anamorphic lenses to see if their measurements would fit.
do u have one for ef lens as will mounting pl lens to bmpcc 6k pro
Unfortunately not. This is because you have to mount the EF lens flush with the EF mount on the Pocket 6K. If you put extra space between the EF lens and the Pocket 6K's EF mount, you won't be able to focus to infinity. We do make a PL to EF adapter, but it has to be so thin that we can't include a VND filter. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-ef-p
PL to Sony FE mount please! would be perfect for PL lenses on the new a7siii 🤤
Hi Shah, we don't currently offer a PL to Sony E-mount ND Throttle adapter, but we may offer one soon. In the mean time, we do offer a standard version that doesn't have a variable ND filter in it if you're interested. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-snye-p
That would be amazing!
Hi! I wanted to know, is there a PL to X-mount Adapter with Built-in VND Filter?
Unfortunately not at this time.
So using this adapter will always be at 1 stop and higher, so if I need ot to be removed so I can have 0 stop is it possible?
It's built in so you can't remove it. So with this adapter you're always losing 1 stop of light.
Is this adapter equivalent to super 35 with the pocket 4k ?
This adapter doesn't change the Pocket 4K's 2x sensor crop, so if you mounted a 50mm lens on this adapter, the lens would be a 100mm full frame equivalent.
Fotodioc Inc @Fotodiox Inc I have a question, i saw another version IN Amazon.it Vizelex Cine ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter (BLACK AND SILVER RING) for (EF-SONY E) &
Vizelex Nd throttle EF-NEX (BLACK AND BLUE COLOURED ADAPTER) Please help me to figure it out. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO?? AND WHICH ONE I should buy for samyang cine lens T1.5 with a7sii.?? Thank you.
One has a built in Nd filter the other one doesn't. If you don't want to use a screw on Nd filter get the throttle.
@@SmellyAlways thanks 😊..i purchased 3months ago
Has the built-in ND in the adapter got IR cut filter too?
No, it's just variable ND.
@@FotodioxInc are you guys planing to add IR filtration to this VND?
will this loose light stop as it dosent go fully clear
Yes, it starts with two stops of light.
Is there an EF TO PL adapter that is compatible to use the cp2 lenses with my BMPCC 6K PRO
We do make a PL to EF adapter that will work on the BMPCC 6K Pro. But it has some limitations on the length of the rear elements of the lens. Basically the mounting flange to the rear of the lens has to be 7.2mm or shorter to lock the lens into the adapter. Here's a link to the adapter: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-ef-p
You can see a graphic visualizing the required lens measurements there.
@@FotodioxInc does this adapter works with the lens Xeen cf?
Is it possible to make a polarizer adapter?
Yes, we actualy offer a line of Polarizer adapters, but nothing currently for PL to Micro 4/3 unfortunately. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/search?type=product&q=polar+throttle
Do you have this adapter for EF glass?
Yes, but it has no electronic communication, so it only works with fully manual cine EF lenses. Here's the link: fotodioxpro.com/products/ef-mft-cndt
@@FotodioxInc Do these work with Rokinon Xeen PL mounts?
I want to adapt from PL to EF mount with Rokinon Xeen PL mount lenses.
May I get the link to buy this adopter. I'm from India
Here's the link to the three we currently offer: fotodioxpro.com/search?type=product&q=PL+ND+Throttle

@@alexantonyp.g5125 They're the same adapter, we just changed the color of the ring. Either one will work the same.
@@FotodioxInc okay thank you..because the new coloured cost more and mentioned CINE thats why i got confused..
Could you tell me if this would work on an Canon C300 III?
Unfortunately we don't offer a PL to Canon EF ND Throttle adapter. This is because the EF mount doesn't give us enough focal flange distance to mount a PL lens and have room for a built-in variable ND filter.
@@FotodioxInc Thanks for answering!
I didn't notice I was commenting on the video of the ND-adapter, my bad.
The normal PL to EF adapter you sell would work?
@@iAmirx It will, with some exceptions. Because the EF mount is so long, our regular PL to EF adapter limits what kinds of PL lenses you can use. Here's the link to the adapter: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-ef-p
In the link you can see a graphic we included that shows the PL lens size limitations.
PL Throttle for L Mounts???
We don't currently offer one, but it's in the works. In the mean time, here's our standard PL to L adapter if you're interested: fotodioxpro.com/products/pl-lt-pro?_pos=1&_sid=1759d59f8&_ss=r
