Until you compare the portrait to even an iphone xs 😂 apple’s portrait is miles ahead!
Although the Ultra model comes with all the bells and whistles, the Plus model is a perfect fit for me considering my needs and of course budget.
Not to mention the Plus has much more of the Ultra’s features than even reviewers have noticed, such as the gorilla glass victus on the back and the dedicated haptic feedback module.
I have had my s21 plus for a week that I ordered off Amazon renewed. Best decision in 2023. You still get a very premium flagship Samsung with a decent amount of support left. Not a bad deal at all for $388. It's on par with what you'd give for a new a53 5g that's a much more laggy phone. I would highly recommend the s21 plus right now.

It is sept of 23 and I just bought a refurb in excellent condition, looks brand new and I paid 249 dollars after taxes. Ill always buy a referb for 25% of the price of new. I dont need the latest and greatest every 2 years while spending 1k every time. No thanks, Ill leave that for you youngsters.
I had the Galaxy S10+, and I traded it in for the Galaxy S21+ 256gb. I've had it for a few weeks now and my advice is that if you have S10+ or the S20+, KEEP them! I don’t think the S21+ is worth it! You lose the screen resolution, the ram is still 8gb and fills up very fast compared to my S10+. You have to go to device care and clear the ram out a lot! You lose the Samsung MST payment, you only have NFC payment, might as well get Google pay now. There's just not enough improvements to make it worth getting right now! If I could go back I would have traded my S10+ for the Galaxy Note Ultra. I owe about $275.00 on this phone yet and I'm thinking about paying it off just to get the Note Ultra now. The fact that there's no microSD card support among all the other things in my mind makes this a bad upgrade for the Samsung line!
Also over heating issues compared with s10 snapdragon or s20 snapdragon, the 888 has a issue

Got the S21 plus yesterday. It's still in the box because I wanted to watch a few tutorials first. This was a great video.. Very informative. My previous phone was a note 5 which I really like but the battery is shot. This new phone is a whole other story...

I think people need to stop calling Samsung apps as bloatware.
If you don't use a Samsung, I don't care.
But Samsung users use Samsung apps and they likes them because they are very helpful and provides paid features/Services/apps for free.
Because of those Samsung apps, I have got features of Android 10, 11 and also upcoming 12 on My Samsung phone running Android 9 (OneUI 1.0).
Nope it's bloat ware infact I try to replace all of them with Google alternatives just know they arent useful at all sorry if your a Samsung fan IAM too but it's bloat ware

They aren't bloatware, you can hide them all and turn off every software feature and it'll be just a clean as stock Android. People act like everything is on and can't ever be turned off or that you can't hide any of the apps.
@@brett2396 if they come with the phone and can't be deleted it's bloat ware extra storage is taken with these app hide them or what you can't get rid of them it's bloat ware so it's easier to replace them with Google apps and atleast make them usable
Not having a SD slot is not cool. Thought sansung learned that back in the day with the s6
Sometimes you have to put out feeler product. This version is probably an incremental upgrade to the Galaxy S22(+, ultra) I'm guessing 10/2022ish release
The SD slot is one of the things that separate it from iPhone. Really!
I have it and don't miss the 2k display found on other samsung phones. 120hz is more important. My only issue is not having expandable storage. That's an issue for me
NOT WORTH IT. BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS PHONE HAS NO ZOOM LENS, ONLY DIGITAL - ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Buy a s21 ultra instead, or a s10+ which takes better pictures, has a better screen, an audio jack, expandable memory and heart rate sensor.

I traded in my s9+ for the 21+ because of the camera- and I wanted a flat screen. So far it's mostly been great. Issues are it doesn't just get warm, it gets HOT- but only with one game?!? And I'm already regretting going with the 128- I had a 128 memory card in my s9+ along with the 64 internal. Wish I had seen this before buying, otherwise I might have gone with the 20...
How much trade in value was your S9+ when you traded it in?

s21+ sprint variant, besides 1 app, absolutely no bloatware or bootup splash screen. i was worried about this but luckily not the case
I bought yhe s21+ on 2022 march. It came out at 650$ for exynos version. I upgrade it from s10 only for the battery. To be frank the battery life is superb when compared with s10 exynos.. apart frm that i had to compromise on weight, size and 3.5jack... but still s21+ satisfied me.
Thinking about upgrading very soon to s21+ or s22+ from S10+. Still a great phone but it has been showing it's age.
I don't know why am I typing this, but it's strangely a soothing review specially the camera shots and videos towards the end... brilliant device and awesomely reviewed. Thankyou

Samsung removing the SD card was the biggest mistake they made for this phone. It was the deal breaker for me. I have a lot of music, a lot of photos, a lot of documents, not to mention the amount of space my apps take up. It looks like an amazing phone and I was really tempted to upgrade, especially since Verizon is offering these new upgrade deals right now. But no SD card? Pass. Come on Samsung.
But they have a higher base storage though? And the reason for its removal is to push for a faster storage performance (which Samsung excels in). When you have the S21s that just ask for 30-50 bucks for a bump from 128 to 256 and 512, I have no problem with that. Most people do not even have a problem with it because the base storage is more than enough. Dafuq? The iPhone starts at 64GB and asks for 150 to 200 bucks for a storage bump from 64 to 256 GB while having no storage expansion at all too. As a long time Samsung fan, it surprised me at first but I do not mind it. Overreacting is what I am seeing here.
@@SeoWoojin55 not an overreaction at all. I'm with Likwid E, I have a lot of photos, videos and music stored in my microSD card as the base storage is not always enough for me. Also, a lot of former iPhone users like me switched because of the ability to get more storage for a fraction of a price. You definitely need to shell out more to go from 256gb to 512gb with the S21 series, not just 30-50 bucks like what you're claiming.
@@jaytee6586 well SD cards are going away not many phones offer it anymore due to all the cloud storage. You want SD card you will have to get a lower end phone

Great review and super helpful. Just got the S21..no BS its my first upgrade since the S J4+ 😂. Cost here in New Zealand $1799. Didnt realise until your review there was no SD port. Unsure cost of the wireless charger but guess I'll find out tomorrow when i return to the store lol

Just upgraded to this phone, from an S9+... Yah I know, it's been a while, Lol. I like what I saw in this video. Only thing I'm bummed out about is that I can't use SD card on it, I had a lot of pictures saved on mine. I was considering the ultra but I was told that the only difference with the plus was that it was bigger, you can use the pen and that it's about $200 more. I think I'll be fine with plus. Should last me a couple of years. Great video, BTW.

Nick I used to love your stuff but now I have no idea what you're recommending. I wonder if I'm spending for nothing. What are you recommending. I've now got an xr for backup due to my health and the s21 ultra as my main phone. I use cross platform as my main phone and operation. But not eccerything fits into that. I think through this stuff. So the diffrences between the s20 plus and s21 plus is minimal that it wouldn't impact your daily life missing, but has less storage and a lesser pixel density. Yeah might just keep my 1000 and keep the s20 plus. Samsungs got a little sloppy.
Do you feel the difference in weight and bulk between the s21 plus and the s21 ultra? I've just bought the ultra but I'm finding it too heavy and bulky.
Bro, I tried both before settling with the plus. Main reason is the weight and tickness. Ultra is just too heavy and thick. So answering your question, yes it is noticeable and the first things yoh will think of holding both.

I am so confused. Should I buy the S20 FE 5G or the S21+ ? The S21+ in my country comes with Exynos 2100. Such a very hard decision. Is the 21+ worth such a huge difference in money compared to FE 20 5G ? It is so strange that all the photos look blurry, didn't expect to see this and why the videos looks so bad quality ? The quality of the photos seem to be light years behind Huawei P40 Pro.
why do you need a 12MP front camera? I feel like 7mp is perfectly fine for a front facing camera

Honestly you can get a 1Tb usb C small flash drive for next to nothing and just plug it in to transfer photos , its not ideal but usb c flashdrives are a big help,lol
just got mine in the mail and i gotta say i like it put a cell helment liguid glass screen protector and a cheap case just wanted to take a break from the iphone 12 pro max
On my s21plus the location of the photos sometimes is not correct is this known issue with the s21 series

I know the S20s had a similar frosted look on the back-glass but it was actually plastic. Anyone know if this is the same with the 21s or are they actually glass like previous models?
All s20s had glass back, fe had plastic. Only regular s21 is plastic, rest are glass.
I'd like to have a battery life like that on my S21 Plus. I don't know man, but mine is giving me just 6h to 6h 30m screen on time, having to charge it up at 20:30 at night. Would it be because of that exynos 2100?

The standard S21 is plastic. Plus and Ultra are both glass.
My s21 plus is frosted glass back and glass on the front it's build quality is amazing got rid of my Oneplus 9 for it

Not disappointed !! Are you kidding me !!! I bought S21 Plus today ! No SD Card support, size only big enought to look almost the same size but making you buy a new protecting case! No freeking charger, with doing away with the regular USB connector on one end. Making you pay $20 + for the charger, just because now you cannot use the old charger. So, what you gonna do, not use the phone you paid $800 for, just because you can't charge it, or else pay for the charger !! Yes there are cheaper options in the market, but that really hurt my ego, not that I have to pay for the charger, but that they made fool of consumer, and got away with it. Probably laughing too. Don't tell me I could use my old wireless plate charger. I know that !! But if I gave my phone to my son, now either he will have to buy the charger cable, or I am going to have to buy a charger plug. These are initial LITTLE things. Don't know what will I find annoying when I start using the phone.

It's a absolute disgrace that Samsung gotten rid of the SD card expansion slot that was the one thing that separated them and other competitors and becoming to iPhoneish with that and getting rid of the charging brick. Makes no sense in buying any Samsung SD cards if there's no where to put it. Really enjoy all your UA-cam videos
They don't care about selling memory cards when they make an extra few hundred bucks to give you an extra 128gb. Samsung is raking us.

The overall fit and finish plus value if you're like me and ported a number so the payment is under $20 per month for the latest and greatest its really a no contest since the performance has ran into zero issues, look is amazing and modern yet still maintains everything you need plus a few things you didn't know you needed. I'm sorry but the value brands can stuff tons of bang for the buck they can't match the overall execution and effortless premium performance and feel of a top tier mainstream device like this.

My S21 ultra keeps disconnecting me from the car Bluetooth during the call. It reconnects after a few seconds. Anyone has the same problem?
This might not help you at all but I have a s9+ and it always does that with my Bluetooth beats headphones...drives me crazy waiting for it to reconnect...
