This channel is seriously perfect for me. I would never think that there would be a channel showing Maldives Islands and Seychelles islands in an amazing way. I love both!
the Luxury Travel Expert thank you for making a beautiful UA-cam channel because I love it you are going to get UA-cam GOLD thank you I love it I subscribe it 💪😎👍
B&O AV system, luxury Italian and European furniture (The outdoor chair in the terrace is over US$ 1,100 per piece) All the things are high-end in the villa The tour video is really great with comprehensive viewing and nice music
bro it is seriously amazing but i think you have shown better villas on this price point . but still another amazing review of hotel and villa.thank you for the tease of beautiful nature and luxury accommodation enjoy man
Wow the villa is huge, spacious and luxurious. Like a villa on land. Except this is on water. What a place to relax and dream away and enjoy...........
All I could think of while looking at this villa was the Soneva Jani. Soneva Jani just feels more inviting to me compared to here. I think like it was pointed out above, the lighter wood colors and even the decor is so warm and playful. I love how every detail of the rooms are thought out and how open they are to the atmosphere. This seems too serious and closed off for a person like me and for an island as beautiful in the Maldives. I don’t think it does the natural surroundings much justice. Just my opinion but this is still a beautiful place. I probably wouldn’t have any issues staying there if I had never seen Soneva Jani though lol. Can’t wait to visit the Maldives once I have the money. 🙏🏿🦋😊
Oh man ! I was fortunate to be a guest of my friends family and we stayed in this place and in this particular villa. It of course was nice. They paid for me to go with them. We used to order room service while my friends mum and dad went out for the evening. We had a blast. We spent a lot of money and it was fun because my friends dad paid everything.
One of the most expensive Maldives luxury water villas in Maldives! If you want a huge water villas that offers a more tropical laid-back vibe, definitely check out the new water villa additions in Soneva Fushi!
Ok, list of excesses: 50 person living room for a house that has 3 bedrooms. 2 Pools and exercise room in a place where you can exercise in the ocean and have more fun doing it. Ginormous windows that let you see: neighboring villa. Big window in front of the bathroom. Eek! Massage table - who’s doing the massaging? Useless hallway with big window - nowhere to sit? Weird gold patterned scribbly things on the walls. Chandelier over a bed? Big circular scary thing over another bed. Tub for like five people in a bedroom for maybe 2. Dining room for 12. Bedrooms for 3.
I was thinking the same thing. Place is beautiful, but too close to the other villas and not a big fan of being right on top of the rocks a few meters from my deck. Good thing I dont like it that much because that 25K price tag is a little out of my price range.
I must agree with all the comments below. It was a nice tour but I must admit, this is a basically a contemporary, american style, post-modern design 5* hotel with a view. If one is to calculate the original investment on building such facilities, must account to the fact that this, is not worth 25k per night. It really does not. Specially without taking in the beauty of this place, the intangible value acquired from this ocean, the privacy very well stated bellow, and the simple fact I cannot find any evident sign of sustainable solutions for the land, and the surrounding environment at all. I mean, if you pay to experience the Maldives, you're not willing to waste so much money per night to experience what's like to actually live or go for a business meeting in New York City. You want to breath in the ocean, you want to taste the food, you want to smell the Maldives. It's just like staying at a chic hotel with a 4K TV playing the ocean, but instead of a TV you get windows. It's very disappointing. Of course one does what he wants with the money, but if you accumulated such an amount by decent manners you shall understand a bit of economy and investment. Still, a very wonderful tour, very well presented, very well guided. I really enjoy your channel.
I don't get why most resorts put there presidential overwater villas at the end or something. Like that's the worse spot because you get the least amount of "Maldivian clear water".
25,000 this is so freaking cheap but very nice wow I'll be going there very soon 😋😏 I love places that I can go to and get way more for my money worth great job
Fantastic villa but the water looks disappointing for Maldives. Is this a lesser known area? Or is it the season? It doesnt look "dreamy" like other Maldivian resorts.
This accommodation exists to show the other vacationers, although they have enough money for an expensive vacation, they’ve still got a LONG way to go.
I stayed at other resorts in Maldives which costs me around 600 dollars per night. In comparison to that resort, I don’t see a huge difference in amenities available here which makes it costs abiout 45 times more.
This may be a strange question, but it's something that struck me as odd. Why are all the televisions there square instead of the wide format everywhere else? I assume all the entertainment comes from satellite and would be in wide screen HD format, no?
yea its a strange question cause no one goes on vacation to a place like that to watch fucking t.v! well it might be fine for 10 yr olds but nobody else would!
@@juliebyrne9131 I do, because I'm right there as I am typing this message and actually I am staying just at the next door of this estate and wandering everyday who is staying there
Wow, another superb video to add to your collection. Great job! Honestly this would be an experience to remember if you actually managed to stay there. I can imagine spending some time there with my family. However I don't think I could convince myself to spend 25,000 a night! Nevertheless, it would be an experience like no other. Even walking through those hallways in the evening, looking out at the water would be something so memorable, yet so petite. lets not talk about the terrace and social areas etc. 10/10 IMO Once again Great Job
What a wonderful villa, it is pleasant for rest and internal peace, comfortable rooms, it is everything that is made with quality as a tourist deserves
I know really At 25,000 you'd expect more than outdated 1970's drab decor . If I had that kind of $ I wouldn't pick this villa Anyway appreciated the video just the same.
Agreed. I've stayed in villas in the Maldives way nicer than this one. It's sterile and bland inside, like a hotel. Thing is, the maldivian people are actually really poor people. They just live in a beautiful area, but fishing is their only income. Now it's tourism, yet rich businessmen from America, Uk etc buy up the best islands, build these things (always more or less the same designs) then get the maldivian people or shipped in from nearby Sri Lanka to work on them for a pittance in service. They aren't even allowed to use the facilities nor swim in the water. it's kinda sad if u delve into what's happening, rather than just sit and enjoy being waited on! I always take English books and things to gift to the staff, as they are so poor, and are often banned from reading (they don't want them to better themselves, which is why libraries are locked unless u want a book) Anyway, what I'm trying to say in a long winded way is that these prices are literally pulled from the backsides of these rich business men from other countries, and in NO WAY are u getting value for money. You can still stay in beautiful places but choose wisely and don't be stupid with your money. And gift $$ to the people who who work tirelessly caring for u the entire stay and daily cleaned ur room etc because they see precious little of the money you shelled out.
I had that same feeling. The colours are GREY... It's oddly ugly considering the surroundings. Boring, uninspiring/uninviting colours (except for the spa). It feels more like a business venue than a warm, welcoming place. Given that J.J. Astor made his fortune ripping people off, it fits the name perfectly!
I would live in the spa's blue hole!!! That looks AWESOME!!!! Why don't all resorts have that? When I hear "spa", I think of jetted tubs, not just massage tables and saunas. Other places need to get on board! LOL!!
3.55 to 4.10 sea front bedroom room looks awesome...but if i stay there, i feel like tsunami is approaching on every waves and sounds....little scary in night time...
Bien sûr, c’est fabuleux. 25 000 la nuit ! On saura que certains ont vécu comme ça pendant que des enfants travaillaient dans des mines. Il faudrait que cet endroit devienne gratuit et que chaque famille puisse y passer une nuit.
I would not like to stay in a place like this when in Maldives, I prefer nature, simplicity etc. Soneva is much more like it 🤗 Btw for 25. 000$ per night you can stay at "Burj al Arab" in Dubai in the most expensive suite(apartment).
He said he was offered a tour at the beginning; so the company might have let him film there so they get more people to know about it... But for some other places where he did stay for the night, I believe he get discounts for showing it to several dozen thousands people ;-)

This video is so beautiful!!! But $25,000 dollars a night is a lot . But I loved everything 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I have visited 7 resorts in the Maldives in 32 trips and it is undoubtedly the best suite I have stayed in, it was basically 15 nights in paradise.
Wow the villa is huge, spacious and luxurious. Like a villa on land. Except this is on water. What a place to relax and dream away and enjoy...........
Does not reflect the natural beauty of its surroundings, much prefer villas of Soneva Jani, thank you for the tour though 👍
I wonder what you like most about the Soneva Jani villa?
It would look better if they used lighter wood colors. And more splashy artwork even if it’s basic like beach stuff.
1 minute cost 17.3 dollars. And there are still people rich enough to live in there for years without feeling financially burdened
this is so relaxing to watch :)
One of the best villa I've ever seen, thank you for the review !
Great footage, beautiful resort. Love your videos. Keep it up.
It's so big it loses the over water aspect, also not rustic enough to think you are living the island dream. Looks like Emirates lounge in Dubai!
Exactly my thought !
This is insane, great video once again, i appreciate it!
I just happend to be looking on the Marriott website, and this particular villa is now available for $3,500 + 85,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points/night

As palatial as this Villa is, everything there is made to calm and sooth the spirit. I love the touches of aqua in the pillows and side tables.
BEAUTIFUL videos!!! so relaxing :)
Thank you Luxury Travel Expert for ah um lose some focus here. Was saying thank you for the beautiful n amazing video

The villas are a bit too close to each other!
For this price you want absolute privacy

If i went there i would still steal all the soap and shampoo
Hassan Elmor for that price, all the furniture and fittings too 😂😂
#Truth
I sincerely love you sense of humour . I read your comment , I could not help myself laughing . it is very funny. , furniture and fittingstoo.
Hassan Elmor it is included inthe price
You don't need to steal..Just take them ..its all yours you paid for it (* $25k a night...lol)
The $3k/night place had a lot more charm.
Very nice videos with suitable music. keep going.
Maldives is just so gorgeous and beautiful...fantastic views...thanks for sharings
I would love to visit Maldives, but it's just a dream :(
Velurom maybe your dream will become true one day :)
+ Velurom why is it just a dream ?
Get a normal job and you can go work for it
That's nice, but I can't think of anything being done there that would justify 25 grand a night.
I guess the amenities and goodies, butler service, 24 hour access, probably free use of motorized vehicles, etc
Kimmy Queen If you can stay awake that long to use them all.
Its a vacation an probably the person would stay two or three nights minimum.
You're paying for the Astor name attachment.
I don't get why most resorts put there presidential overwater villas at the end or something. Like that's the worse spot because you get the least amount of "Maldivian clear water".
i don't like this bcz it's just like a luxurious condon in NYC but no a resort with the tropical design
Love the videos. Just a little depressing that only 1% of the worlds population could enjoy this while the other 99% can only dream about it.
I've seen waaaay better for less than $10k per night. Sad!
Very beautiful. I'll prefer charter a yacht for that price but thats me and the wealthy family staying in that house must have seen everything before.
11:45 finally shows the view of the outside, you're welcome.
Cant see the people with that kind of money wanting to be that close to everyone else.
25,000 this is so freaking cheap but very nice wow I'll be going there very soon 😋😏 I love places that I can go to and get way more for my money worth great job
How tf is it cheap
Fantastic villa but the water looks disappointing for Maldives. Is this a lesser known area? Or is it the season? It doesnt look "dreamy" like other Maldivian resorts.
I made the clip on a rare overcast day. That is why the water does not have the typical blue color that it has on a sunny day.
the Luxury Travel Expert I see!

Vinit Patni what resort?
Good answer Vinit.
This may be a strange question, but it's something that struck me as odd. Why are all the televisions there square instead of the wide format everywhere else? I assume all the entertainment comes from satellite and would be in wide screen HD format, no?
LossVegas The televisions are widescreen. The upper part of the tv ( approximately 70% ) is the display, the lower part is the soundsystem.
Thanks, I figured it was something like that. They just looked odd to me.
yea its a strange question cause no one goes on vacation to a place like that to watch fucking t.v! well it might be fine for 10 yr olds but nobody else would!

Incredible. Btw, How many resorts did you stay in Maldives?
I've been waiting the whole video to find out what justifies $25K/night... Conclusion: nothing :) It's probably worth $5K or so.
What a wonderful villa, it is pleasant for rest and internal peace, comfortable rooms, it is everything that is made with quality as a tourist deserves
Finally have found.... Completely my possessions from today.
i want to go to the maledives, but i have no idea which island or hotel/resort to go..
That is a whooping 9.125 Million dollars a year. Man l was planning to stay there for 5 years but its around $45,625,000.00 wow.
Gorgeous!
Nothing about or in the villa fits or compliments its surroundings. Just awful.
I know really At 25,000 you'd expect more than outdated 1970's drab decor . If I had that kind of $ I wouldn't pick this villa Anyway appreciated the video just the same.

I agree this is not maldives style its just ugly as
I must agree.
Nice branded furniture with white sand
For 25k a night i want my own damn island
Pure luxury !
this is the ultimate fantasy video !
Funny thing is, the door in the toilet area is transparent so that you can see the sea when doing things
That Villa is so big I got lost just watching!
I wouldn't spend $25k a night for this - probably worth more like $2-3k per night
the house feels very cold, not well fitting with the lush natural enviroment. thats how i feel

Exactly
Why need so many television screens when you want to enjoy the sun and the beach .
$175,000.00 a week doesn’t seem too unreasonable. 😳
Small change :)

Lindíssimo👏👏👏👏👏
Its funny that when the water looks dark.... suddenly that place is not worth even 10% of its original price
Finally!
A place that is actually ok to charge 25k
even the 1% would think this is not worth the price
3.55 to 4.10 sea front bedroom room looks awesome...but if i stay there, i feel like tsunami is approaching on every waves and sounds....little scary in night time...

now hes the richest man in hell and cant even buy a glass of icewater there!
Wow! Not for the faint of heart or average Joe. Beautifully magnificent
How much time does turn-down service for this villa take?
I’d love to go there and sing Bossa nova jazz. Any chance you a resident entertainer? 🙏🏻
Next step:
Private island
You have it in some properties.
the rocks are kinda distroying the beauty
nothing to cost $25,000 a night really
MrSly025 nope!!!
I think the interior design is not so good for this money but the panorama is awesome but you dont need to give so much money to get this panorama.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
December to April is the dry season
Great video
You should visit India and try The Maharaja's Express too
Spectacular!
How many points would it cost for an upgrade to this? Would it even be possible?
I don't think you can upgrade to this villa with SPG points :-)
Table seats 12 but only 3 bedrooms lol but it's still absolutely gorgeous nonetheless
is this estate affiliated or owned by the astor family?

Aaah one would most likely be able to sleep in peace during daytime at that place..
No crime here!! I'm going to go swimming at 2 am..
But lets be real here: continuing construction of buildings all over small island nations is NOT a good thing.
Many ppl don't even earn $25K a year
how is the underwater restaurant in that area ?
Funny thing is, Maldives has waaaaay better views then this. Been there 3 times and this is nothing. Wave breakers.. Nice villa though!
